Abstract

The Event and MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) industry has become increasingly important in the global economy. Bandar Lampung, as one of Indonesia's developing cities, has significant potential to develop this industry. However, the development of the event and MICE industry in this city remains underexplored and not fully optimized. Data from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in 2023 indicates that Lampung is not yet among the top 10 event and MICE destinations in Indonesia. The Lampung MICE Forum 2022, held at Polinela, concluded that the development of the event and MICE industry in Bandar Lampung requires the formulation of a development strategy that is academically reviewed to be more systematic and targeted. This research aims to identify the factors affecting the development of the event and MICE industry in Bandar Lampung, identify gaps between ideal and actual conditions affecting this industry, and develop a strategy model for the industry. The research uses both primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through observation and interviews, while secondary data comes from literature reviews including books, journals, and policy documents. The research employs qualitative descriptive analysis, gap analysis, and spider chart analysis methods. The results indicate that developing the MICE industry in Bandar Lampung requires strategies such as enhancing human resources for MICE, improving MICE facilities, increasing public awareness of tourism development in Bandar Lampung, supporting MICE-related policies, and strengthening Bandar Lampung's branding as a MICE (Convention City) and Heritage City. Abstract

Kelurahan Suka Marga ini memiliki kekayaan dan keindahan gejala alam berupa tiga danau terpisahan antara lain Danau Asam, Danau Minyak, dan Danau Lebar. Keragam kekayaan alam di Kelurahan Suka Marga ini dapat menjadi modal awal bagi perkembangan kehidupan sosial masyarakat setempat. Potensi gejala alam yang ada memiliki dapat mendorong pembangunan daerah, juga menarik minat wisatawan dalam negeri maupun luar negeri untuk dapat berkunjung ke Kelurahan Suka Marga, Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Oleh karena itu, partisipasi masyarakat penting untuk diikutsertakan dan dilibatkan dalam mengembangkan pariwisata yang ada di Kelurahan Suka Marga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deduktif, dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif dan dengan mengidentifikasi 8 variabel Tangga Partisipasi Arnstein dan keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam pengembangan ekowisata di Kelurahan Suka Marga, Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat tergolong sedang yaitu berada pada tangga kelima atau placation, artinya pemerintah dan masyarakat sudah tergolong aktif dalam proses perencanaan. Masyarakat juga sudah menunjukkan keterlibatan dalam diskusi dengan pemerintah mengenai usulan, kritik maupun saran mengenai pembangunan ekowisata. Proses pelaksanaan, perencanaan, dan pembangunan tetap dilakukan sesuai dengan ketetapan pemerintah. Hambatan dalam pembangunan yaitu masih terdapatnya faktor – faktor lain seperti sumber daya manusia yang belum sepenuhnya dapat melakukan perencanaan, perancangan, dan pengelolaan secara mandiri. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi titik awal bagi masyarakat untuk berkembang dan mengetahui potensi serta mampu mendapatkan kepercayaan pemerintah untuk memberikan kewenangan penuh dalam merencanakan, merancang dan mengelola ekowisata yang ada di Kelurahan Suka Marga dan bentuk perhatian pemerintah dapat melakukan pelatihan kepada masyarakat agar pengembangan ekowisata dapat menjadi berkembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kepuasan keamanan antara kinerja dan harapan dari pengendalian kerumunan menurut penonton konser musik dengan menggunakan metode CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada konser musik 2023 WOODZ WORLD TOUR [OO-LI] IN JAKARTA dengan sampel sebanyak 340 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini adalah probability sampling, dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) strategi pengendalian kerumunan Mecimapro berdasarkan dari empat dimensi pengendalian kerumunan (waktu, ruang, informasi, dan energi), (2) tingkat kepuasan yang menunjukkan konsistensi rasa kepuasan yang dirasakan oleh penonton terhadap kinerja pengendalian kerumunan yang dilakukan oleh promotor.

Abstract

Cagar Alam Pananjung, located in West Java, is a nature reserve rich in biodiversity and a popular tourist destination. This study evaluates the Joint Movement Strategy (Geber) in conserving this nature reserve through collaboration between the government and the community. A qualitative research method with a descriptive analytical approach was used, relying on literature review from various relevant sources. The study results indicate that the implementation of the Geber strategy faces various challenges and opportunities. The role of the government in coordinating and implementing environmental policies and managing the nature reserve is crucial. However, there is a need to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and law enforcement. Active participation of the local community is also significant in managing the nature reserve through education, training, and empowerment. The study's recommendations include improving coordination between government agencies and monitoring mechanisms, as well as increasing community participation through education and training. The government is also advised to facilitate partnerships with the private sector and non-governmental organisations to support conservation efforts. In conclusion, collaboration between the government and the community is essential to enhance the conservation of Pananjung Pangandaran nature reserve. Effective implementation of the Geber strategy is expected to preserve this nature reserve for the well-being of future generations.

Abstract

The motivation of tour guides can be influenced by various factors, such as job satisfaction, financial incentives, and social interaction. This study aims to examine the motivation of tour guides at Bandung Good Guide under the Pay As You Wish payment system. The author employs a qualitative approach, conducting in-depth interviews with experienced tour guides who have led tours for Bandung Good Guide. The findings will reveal the motivational factors influencing tour guides at Bandung Good Guide within the Pay As You Wish framework. This research holds significant implications for tour guides in the travel industry, particularly in promoting sustainable tourism through walking tours
