Abstract

This study investigates the use of Arabic syntactic structures in educational content on the TikTok account @Brayfaqot through a descriptive qualitative approach. The research aims to identify how Arabic sentence patterns are adapted and presented in digital short-form media. Data were collected from selected TikTok videos using non-participatory observation and documentation, then analyzed based on Arabic syntax theory. The findings reveal that the content employs various sentence types such as istifhām (interrogative), amr (imperative), nahy (prohibitive), and khabariyyah (declarative) forms, commonly structured as jumlah ismiyyah and jumlah fi‘liyyah. These structures are integrated with visual and interactive elements that enhance comprehension in digital learning contexts. This research contributes to the emerging field of digital Arabic linguistics by providing empirical insights into how syntactic features function within social media–based Arabic education.

Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering religious moderation among elementary school students in the digital era. The study aims to explore the strategies, challenges, and impacts experienced by teachers in cultivating attitudes of tolerance, inclusivity, and harmony amidst the rapid flow of digital information. Employing a qualitative methodology, data were collected through literature review, interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and content analysis to identify patterns in teacher roles and innovations. The findings reveal that PAI teachers serve as role models, facilitators, and innovators by integrating religious moderation values into the curriculum, promoting dialogic learning, and utilizing digital technologies such as interactive media and online platforms. Strategies include strengthening multicultural education, character development, and collaboration with families and communities. However, teachers face challenges such as limited resources, insufficient digital training, resistance to change, and social environmental influences. The study concludes that the success of instilling religious moderation is significantly influenced by teachers’ ability to adapt to technology, innovate in teaching, and receive support from various stakeholders to create an inclusive and harmonious school environment.

Abstract

This study is an evaluative research aimed at analyzing the quality of Fiqh exam items for 12th-grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Surakarta, using the Rasch Model evaluation theory approach. The reason for choosing this model is its ability to simultaneously evaluate both the test items and the ability to address the limitations of classical test theory. The research subjects consisted of 332 students who met the minimum criteria for Rasch analysis according to Linacre (1994). Data was collected through documentation of final exam results and analyzed using the Winstep software. The main component evaluated in this study is the difficulty level of the items. The analysis was conducted by considering the validity and reliability of the instrument. Validity was assessed through item fit (Outfit MNSQ, ZSTD, and Pt Mean Corr), unidimensionality, and bias detection using DIF and DPF. The results of the study showed that two items (S17 and S27) were outliers in terms of difficulty, two other items (S17 and S39) were classified as misfits, and 19 items were identified as biased. This indicates that some items were unfair and inaccurate in measuring students' abilities. In terms of reliability, the person reliability value of 0.79 indicated a fair consistency in student responses, while the item reliability of 0.99 suggested that the items were highly reliable in distinguishing levels of ability. The Cronbach's alpha of 0.89 indicated very good internal consistency. The study recommends revisions to the problematic items in order to improve the validity and fairness of the evaluation instrument.
