Abstract

Discipline is one of the keys to success to be able to do the job correctly and on time. One of the characters that must be instilled in students from an early age is discipline. This is because students also have the role of children when at home, surrounded by rules that must be followed. The purpose of instilling this discipline is to instill compliance and compliance with applicable regulations. At SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta there is a program to habituate congregational dhuha prayer with the aim of training students to learn discipline and time management, this program is carried out for students of grades X, XI, XII, teachers and staff employees at school. The methods used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study is that the habituation of dhuha prayers for students is carried out well, so as to increase student discipline and can prevent and change themselves from things that are not good.

Abstract

This study describes Islamic character education through learning aqidah akhlak. This study aims to reveal the strategy of Islamic character education in learning aqidah akhlak, how to build student character in learning aqidah akhlak, and what are the obstacles in the application of Islamic character education in learning aqidah akhlak for regular grade 7 students at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta. Data collection using observation and interview techniques. This data processing uses qualitative techniques. This technique is used to process data from observations and interviews. The results showed that the Islamic character education strategy in learning Aqidah Akhlak in students is a conscious effort from teachers to instill and form Islamic character. Lack of parental attention is also an inhibiting factor in the development of character education because they are busy with various kinds of work.

Abstract

The 5S culture is self-habituation to always senyum means to smile, sapa means to greet, salam means to say hello in islam, sopan means to be polite, and santun means to courteous. This study aims to get a clearer and more complete picture and information regarding the attitudes of students in schools in implementing 5S culture. The research subjects were students of SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta, and SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta. This type of research uses qualitative methods through a case study approach. The result of the research is that students implement the 5S culture even though in certain conditions they are still exceeding the limit.

Abstract

Developing an inclusive Islamic education curriculum is an urgent need to improve the quality of education. The Cambridge and Merdeka Belajar curricula, with their innovative principles, have great potential for adaptation in Islamic education. This research aims to identify and explore The RAMAH ANAK approach as a foundation in developing an Islamic education curriculum and analyze the suitability of RAMAH ANAK principles with the values ​​of Islamic education. The methodology used is a library research with a qualitative approach involving analysis of literature related to the Cambridge Curriculum, Merdeka Belajar, and Islamic education. The research results show that integrating the advantages of the Cambridge Curriculum and Merdeka Belajar creates a more holistic and inclusive approach called the RAMAH ANAK approach. These principles align with Islamic educational values ​​such as justice, compassion and character development. Apart from that, the advantages of The RAMAH ANAK approach also support the formation of Islamic solid character and inclusive learning. Thus, the findings of this research can be the basis for developing educational policies that are more RAMAH ANAK and in line with Islamic values. The conclusions of this research indicate that the RAMAH ANAK approach has great potential to improve the quality of Islamic education, but further research is needed to test its effectiveness in various educational contexts.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes regarding addition and whole numbers using counting board learning media. This research is experimental, with the research design being a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all class II students of MIS Asy-Syafi'iyah Kendari. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, with class II A as the control class and class II B as the experimental class. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential analysis. The research results showed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of experimental class and control class students after treatment, where t_count was 2.329 > t_table 2.006, with the N-Gain test results in the experimental class being 63.78% in the quite effective category. Based on the results of this research, the counting board learning medium is quite effective for use in improving student learning outcomes, especially material for addition and whole numbers for class II SD/MI.

Abstract

In linguistic analysis, an understanding of clauses is essential to uncovering the meaning and structure of language. One of the main approaches in this analysis is to pay attention to the presence and sequence of functors in the clause. This article aims to analyze the clauses based on the presence and sequence of functors in Surat Ar-Rahman. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis approach. This analysis involves recognizing the position of each word and element in a sentence as well as how they are connected to each other in conveying meaning. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there are five forms of clause patterns in Surat Ar-Rahman, namely: 1) one fungtor clause pattern S and P, 2) two fungtor clause patterns S, P, and O, 3) one fungtor clause pattern P and O, 4) one fungtor clause pattern P and K, and 5) one fungtor clause pattern P,  O, & K.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education Class VI SD Al Firdaus Surakarta, especially the material Sirah Nabi. So we need an improvement in teaching and learning activities. This study aims to increase knowledge about the methods or learning strategies that can be used for Islamic Religious Education subjects, to improve the learning of Islamic Religious Education subjects, as well as to improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education material Sirah Nabi in sixth grade students of SD Al Firdaus Surakarta. Through Class Action Research (PTK) by implementing 2 cycles, will be found the influence and efforts to improve the process and learning outcomes of students. The subjects of the study were students of Class VI of SD Al Firdaus Surakarta as many as 16 students consisting of 6 male students and 10 female students. Methods in data collection that are applied utilize field notes, observations, and tests. Worksheet learners (LKPD) is used for data analysis techniques. Criteria for the success of learning improvement in Islamic Religious Education subjects, if the learning outcomes achieved by students have reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) 70. From the results of this study obtained data cycle I as many as 16 students, there are 7 students did not reach the KKM, and from the results of Cycle II as many as 7 students have all reached the KKM. The grade point average in cycle I is 69.3, while the grade point average in Cycle II is 79.4. This means that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education subjects Sirah Nabi material in the sixth grade of SD Al Firdaus Surakarta using the make a match method.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of the Quizizz application as a medium for evaluating tarjamah learning. This research was motivated by the difficulty of teachers correcting students' answers and requiring more time to add more questions. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection using observation and interview instruments. The results of this research are: Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that teachers can save time in creating questions without printing question sheets and adding more questions, making it easier for teachers to correct student answers, as well as making the tarjamah learning evaluation process faster with the Quizizz Application. The use of Quizizz also has a positive impact on the learning process, including increasing student interaction, motivation, and the effectiveness of learning evaluation. Quizizz can also be used as a cooperative learning tool, where students can work together in answering questions and compete for points. Thus, this journal concludes that the use of the Quizizz application as a medium for evaluating Arabic tarjamah learning has great potential to improve student learning outcomes through an interactive, fun and technology-based approach.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools have a unique education and teaching system. The aim of education at Islamic boarding schools is not only to provide students with education and knowledge, but also to build good character and morals. Some popular learning techniques, as we know, are lectures, discussions, demonstrations, recitations, discovery, inquiry, and so on.  Some traditional Islamic boarding schools (salafiyah) still use the bandongan, sorogan, and shawir or deliberation methods. This method is considered effective for teaching and learning. The result of this research is that there is a disciplined learning habit for students, because learning is well structured, able to create discipline in time and attitude in students. So that students can get used to carrying out habits in the form of learning as they should so that learning achievements or targets can be maximized. A good learning target is to create students who are able to think critically, think critically which is useful in reading, writing, speaking, listening, discussing, problem solving and so on. This can work well if students also carry out the learning process in their learning maximally.
