Abstract

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, regional governments in decentralized Indonesia face critical pressures to optimize limited public spending while accelerating socioeconomic recovery. This study evaluates the relative efficiency of regional fiscal management across 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2021 to 2025. Utilizing an output-oriented Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) under the Variable Returns to Scale (VRS) assumption, the framework maps five fiscal inputs (education, health, road, subsidy, and personnel expenditures) against three development outputs (Gross Regional Domestic Product, Human Development Index, and non-poor population percentage). The results reveal significant regional disparities, with the number of efficient provinces fluctuating between 11 and 14, culminating in 14 fully efficient provinces by 2025. While frontiers like DKI Jakarta and East Kalimantan consistently demonstrated optimal resource utilization, regions such as Papua, West Papua, and East Nusa Tenggara persistently exhibited the lowest efficiency scores. Furthermore, the Returns to Scale analysis indicates that most underperforming provinces operated under Increasing Returns to Scale (IRS), suggesting substantial latent potential to maximize developmental outcomes without expanding budget allocations. In conclusion, enhancing expenditure quality, targeting structural budget execution, and minimizing resource slack are imperative to bridge regional disparities and foster equitable national development.

Abstract

This study addresses the intensifying competition in fast-moving consumer industries, forcing market leaders to strategically manage external and internal factors that reinforce long-term consumer retention. The primary objective of this research is to analyze the empirical effects of price perception, brand image, and product quality on customer loyalty toward the Indomie brand. Utilizing a quantitative methodology with an associative design, data were gathered via online questionnaires from 161 active consumers selected through purposive sampling. The structural model was evaluated using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) managed through the SmartPLS software. The analytical results demonstrate that price perception, brand image, and product quality exert positive and statistically significant impacts on customer loyalty, with product quality identified as the most prominent determinant. Conclusively, these findings imply that sustaining rigorous product standards, reinforcing a reputable brand reputation, and aligning price structures with consumer benefits are critical corporate strategies to prevent customer switching and secure a sustainable competitive advantage

Abstract

Subsidized fertilizer is crucial for food self-sufficiency, but faces challenges in transparency, distribution accuracy, and digitalization. This study analyzed farmer’s intentions in Madiun Regency to use the i-Pubers application using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. The quantitative-associative method was used, with primary data collected from 197 respondents using a Likert scale questionnaire, analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results had shown that government support and social learning did not affect perceived ease of use, but significantly affect perceived usefulness, while platform support influences both. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness influence attitudes toward use, which in turn impacts adoption intentions. This study contributes to improving the transparency and efficiency of fertilizer distribution and supports SDGs 9 through agricultural digitalization.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the influence of parenting styles and family socioeconomic status on learning motivation and student learning outcomes at the junior high school level. The method used is a systematic literature review by examining various relevant empirical research findings from 2020 to 2025. The results show that parenting styles, particularly authoritative parenting, are positively associated with increased learning motivation, academic independence, and student learning achievement. Authoritative parenting, characterized by warmth, open communication, and guided autonomy, proves most effective in building students' intrinsic motivation. Conversely, authoritarian, permissive, and neglectful parenting styles tend to hinder students' academic development. Family socioeconomic status also plays an important role through the provision of learning facilities, parental educational support, home environment quality, and access to adequate learning resources. Learning motivation serves as a mediating variable that bridges the influence of parenting styles and socioeconomic status on student learning outcomes. In addition to family factors, pedagogical leadership of teachers and schools contributes to creating a conducive learning environment. This study recommends strengthening democratic parenting, improving educational access for low socioeconomic status families, and developing pedagogical leadership in schools to optimize student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Background: The rapid expansion of digital financial services and fintech platforms has increased decision-making complexity, leaving prospective entrepreneurs within university startup ecosystems vulnerable to cognitive biases that alter managerial judgment and strategic resource allocation. Objective: This study aims to examine the simultaneous influence of overconfidence bias, anchoring bias, and loss aversion on financial decision-making among undergraduate students as prospective digital entrepreneurs, while controlling for their field of study. Methods: A quantitative explanatory design was adopted using a cross-sectional survey of 143 undergraduate students selected through purposive sampling based on their personal financial and digital service management experience. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4. Results: The structural model demonstrates that overconfidence bias exerts the strongest positive effect on financial decision-making, followed by loss aversion and anchoring bias, whereas field of study shows no statistically significant effect, revealing that cognitive psychological biases override formal academic specialization in financial choices. Conclusion: These findings highlight that enhancing managerial capability in entrepreneurial ecosystems requires moving beyond conventional technical financial education. Incubators and higher education institutions must implement structured behavioral finance interventions, including cognitive debiasing toolkits and evidence-based decision-making frameworks, to mitigate excessive overconfidence, prevent risk-averse innovation inertia, and foster sustainable digital venture performance.
