Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keterampilan digital yang dibutuhkan oleh katekis dan pastor dalam menjangkau generasi muda digital. Perubahan perilaku generasi muda yang semakin terhubung dengan dunia digital menuntut para pembimbing rohani untuk beradaptasi dengan media dan platform digital yang mereka gunakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber seperti buku, artikel, dan laporan terkait dengan generasi muda digital, keterampilan digital, dan pelayanan gereja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa katekis dan pastor memerlukan keterampilan digital seperti penguasaan platform digital, pembuatan konten menarik, komunikasi efektif, dan membangun hubungan melalui media digital. Keterampilan digital menjadi faktor penting dalam menjangkau generasi muda digital dan membangun hubungan yang bermakna. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pelatihan dan pengembangan keterampilan digital bagi para katekis dan pastor. Gereja juga perlu didorong untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pelayanannya agar lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan generasi muda digital. Pengembangan program dan kegiatan digital yang menarik, seperti retret online, kelompok diskusi virtual, dan pelayanan online, sangat penting untuk memperkuat hubungan antara generasi muda digital dan gereja.

Abstract

This research focuses on the dynamics of child education in Disparitas Cultus from the Catholic doctrine perspective. The main challenge faced by couples in Disparitas Cultus is how to integrate two different beliefs while still promoting the obligation of the Catholic side to educate children in Catholicism without negating the freedom of the non-Catholic side. This research will explore how couples achieve harmony between their faiths, creating an environment where children can grow and develop spiritually. In addition, it will identify the challenges and concrete strategies faced by intermarried families in implementing Catholic teachings for children's education. This research is expected to provide in-depth insights into how intermarried families manage differences in beliefs and embrace Catholic values in their efforts to educate children holistically.

Abstract

Abstract Social media, as a tool or means of communication, provides benefits for married couples to connect, share everyday moments, and express feelings through digital platforms. However, social media also has negative impacts on communication between spouses. Therefore, in this article, the author encourages married couples to pay attention to every word when communicating through social media with each other. The author uses Ephesians 4:29 as both inspiration and reference, providing a theological foundation for married couples to be mindful of their words when communicating through social media, especially with each other. Through this article, the author hopes to help broaden the understanding of married couples, urging them to be attentive to their words in social media communication to avoid negative consequences that could lead to cracks in the relationship between spouses.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is one of the innovative learning models that teachers can use to improve students' character. The purpose of this research is to see the relationship between Project-Based Learning and character education through bibliometric analysis which is the result of the Publish or Perish 8 application dataset by referring to articles in Google Scholar which are then converted with VosViewer. The results of the bibliometric analysis show that Project-Based Learning is closely related to character education. In this analysis, the researcher then presents several research results in the form of articles that show how Project-Based Learning impacts the development of learners. In the end, the author also found that further research that can be done based on the bibliometric analysis is by linking character education and Project-Based Learning with local wisdom owned by each educational institution.

Abstract

This research pays attention to the practice of torok or kepok carried out by Catholics in Manggarai in the celebration of the Eucharist or holy mass. Indeed, the practice of torok or kepok is not done every time the Eucharist is celebrated. There are certain times of Eucharistic celebrations, for example in major celebrations or during thanksgiving masses, torok or kepok becomes a crucial and absolute thing to do. This has become a custom for Catholics in Manggarai. Thus, the purpose of this study is to find out about the relationship between the practice of torok or kepok in the celebration of the Eucharist with ecclesiastical law or canon law. The methodology used in this research is a literature study, where the author searches and collects information related to this research from various sources such as books, journals, newspapers and the internet. Then, the author correlates it with customs in the context of ecclesiastical law or canon law. Some of these customs are secundum legem, praeter legem, and contra legem. This research found that torok in the Eucharistic celebration practiced by Catholics in Manggarai is an example or form of praeter legem custom. This means that the practice of torok in the Eucharistic celebration is a custom that is outside the provisions of universal (canonical or ecclesiastical) law. In other words, it is not regulated or does not exist in the general law.

Abstract

Over an extended period, religious education was misperceived as an education for pious behavior limited to rituals and individual piety. Although this perspective is not entirely wrong, in the era of educational progress and directions, religious education, especially in higher education, must pioneer and be at the forefront in realizing integrative education, i.e., the harmony of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Using a descriptive reflection method inspired by Laudato Si’ toward the actions of one of the groups in a Religious Education course at Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University, this article provides a descriptive picture of an affordable, plain, joyful, and environmentally oriented project-based learning in higher education.
