Abstract

This paper looks at how Igbo people use their language in general interactions.  Discourse analysis of Igbo norminalization therefore looks at what and how the Igbo norminals are realize in their interactions both in written and oral forms. The main objective of this study is to indicate and expose the impacts of normalization as well as show how nouns are derived from other word classes in Igbo language.  The method used in this study is discourse analysis method which is used to analyze connected speech or writing of the Igbo. Primary and secondary sources are used for data gathering.  The study adopts the structural grammar theoretical framework prominently used by Bloomfield in 1914.  The paper looks at the processes of forming Igbo nouns from other word classes.  The study concludes that norminalization exists in Igbo language discourse and it is derived from word classes like, norminals, noun phrase, verb phrase and even sentences.  And this makes Igbo language oral and written form perfect in every discourse.

Abstract

The essence of Islam is not only focused on the purity of worship but it must also be focused on social morality. This is by the Al-Qur'an and Hadith as the basis of Islamic teachings where much attention is paid to the 2 important things above. And one of the things that are paid attention to, especially in matters of social justice, is regarding debts and receivables which contain the concepts of hiwalah and dhomman, where these concepts are still not widely known by the public. This research aims to describe this. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach and then concluded descriptively. The results of the research show that the concept of Hiwalah in Islamic teachings is the transfer of debt carried out by someone to another person on condition of willingness, agreement, the existence of collateral, there is an agreement between the two parties and there is a time limit so that the transfer of debt is legal, and it is impossible to be free from responsibility. The concept of Dhaman in Islam is to combine dzimah with others in the collection, whether with souls, debts, or other material substances while still fulfilling the pillars and conditions such as the existence of dhamin, madmun lah, madmun 'anhu, madmun bih, and lafadz so that the law can allow.

Abstract

Traditional fertilizer application methods are inefficient and environmentally harmful. Biochar releases nutrients gradually, providing a steady supply to plants while reducing leaching and runoff. Additionally, biochar enhances soil physical properties, such as water retention and structure, leading to improved fertility and plant growth. To fully understand the potential of biochar-based slow-release fertilizers, a systematic review is proposed. The study aims to assess their effectiveness, understand underlying mechanisms, and identify limitations or challenges. It selected studies that investigate biochar-based fertilizers and their effect on the plant growth, nutrient release, and soil fertility. Understanding these production methods is crucial for optimizing the characteristics of biochar-based fertilizers. Overall, this review contributes to the development of sustainable agricultural practices.

Abstract

This study examined trade liberalization and macro economic performance in Nigeria. The study made use of ordinary least square (OLS) for analysis using data from pen worth table (PWT) for the period of 1980-2016. The variables used in the analysis are (TOP) trade openness, (UNE) unemployment rate, (GDP) gross domestic product, (XR) exchange rate and (RINT) real interest rate. The result obtained indicates that Trade openness has an inconclusive relationship with the macroeconomic indicators in Nigeria. The implication is that GDP, RINT and UNE were negatively and positively related to Trade openness during the period of review respectively, going against the prior expectation. Hence the study recommends review of the degree of its trade liberalization by keeping trade openness rate below or at ceiling level in order to ensure an improved macro economic performance in Nigeria.

Abstract

The rate at which the world's population is expanding necessitates an annual increase in food production in order to feed the expanding population. As a result, during the Rabi season of 2021–2022, a field experiment was carried out at the Agronomy Research Farm, The University of Agriculture Peshawar. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. Row-Row spacing was kept at 30 cm. The experimental field was twice ploughed The evaluation was conducted employing eleven parameters, all of which were strongly influenced by different wheat lines. After an examination of the results, it was determined that the most desirable wheat line among the advanced lines in terms of biological and grain yield were AL-32 and AL-60 (8049 and 3610 kg ha-1, respectively), while the best performing line among Chinese hybrid lines in terms of biological and grain yield was 15-CA73 (9094 and 3777 kg ha-1, respectively), while the Khaista variety among local check varieties produced the highest biological and grain yield (5766 and 2277 kg kg ha-1, respectively). The presented research was conducted to estimate the effect of phosphorus levels and nitrogen fixing bacteria on the vigor and viability of harvested barley seeds at Agronomy Research Laboratory, The University of Agriculture Peshawar during Rabi season 2021-2022. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design having four replications. The experiment is consisted of two-factors in which one factor was nitrogen fixing bacteria (with and without) and the other was phosphorus levels (40, 60 and 80 kg ha-1) with control. Analysis of variance revealed significant differences among all parameters and interaction. Based on experimental results phosphorus applied at the rate of 80 kg ha-1 significantly increased germination (86.25 %), germination rate (6.16), seedling length (21.82 cm) and root fresh weight (0.04 g). The application of nitrogen fixing bacteria shows positive response in all the parameters. N2 fixing bacteria significantly increased germination (86.50 %), germination rate (6.17), seedling length (20.60 cm) and root fresh weight (0.04 g). Interaction between phosphorus level and nitrogen fixing bacteria was found significant for seedling length and shoot fresh weight. It was concluded that phosphorus applied at the rate of 80 kg ha-1 with nitrogen fixing bacteria is recommended for increasing vigor and viability of harvested barley seeds. oratory, The University of Agriculture Peshawar during Rabi season 2021-2022.   The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design having four replications. Abstract

Cases of violence against children in the modern era are currently very common. Cases of violence against children are committed by adults. Law enforcement for someone who is confronted needs to be done for the sake of upholding the law. An action committed against violence against children has a cause which is the background to why the action was carried out. This is where the important role of criminology is in knowing why someone commits a crime and how to overcome the crime problem. The role of the family and society is very important to monitor violence against children.
