Abstract

The development of the world of technology at this time has a major influence and impact on the development of educational information systems. In the world of information systems that aim to provide various kinds of information, and with the development of technological progress experiencing very rapid development, it is characterized by the increasing number of computer-based information systems. The objectives of this journal are (1) Analyzing the history and evolution of browsers, (2) Identifying the Challenges Faced by Browsers (3) Reviewing the Latest Innovations in software. The method in writing this journal is in the form of data collection from several journals. (1) The Internet was first created by the United States Department of Defense (DARPA) in the 1960s. Early browser software such as "NCSA Mosaic" appeared in the early 1990s, allowing users to access text and images simply via the HTTP protocol, (2) The challenges faced by browsers are security, user privacy, sustainability of mobile devices etc., (3) The latest innovations in software are the latest web technologies, enhanced security and support for VR/AR.

Abstract

Many people aspire to go on vacations, but their wishes often go unfulfilled due to the difficulty of managing the required budget for the trip. Additionally, they encounter challenges in selecting a holiday destination because well-known tourist spots tend to be crowded with visitors, leading to a less comfortable experience. These issues have sparked the interest of a research team in developing an application to address these concerns. The application is designed based on feedback obtained from a survey conducted by the research team. After processing and analyzing the survey results, the team has conceptualized an application called "Holiyay" to assist users in planning vacations within their predetermined budgets. The suggested travel destinations provided by the application are guaranteed to meet quality standards, ensuring a pleasant experience for users. To enhance the comfort of users during their vacations, the application will also offer the services of a guide called "Holiguide" to accompany them. In order to ensure security for both users and the application, a QR code will be provided to users when they book their vacation packages. This QR code will be scanned by the Holiguide to verify the identity of both parties, confirming that they are the designated user and guide provided by the application.

Abstract

Crowd has been a normal thing particularly in big cities. This could lead to negative causes such as slower mobilization or social anxiety towards individuals. Ever since the pandemic of Covid-19 lands all over the world, the application of thermal censoring devices has been commonly encountered in public places. The most common use of thermal censors is to detect human body temperature. Therefore, this research is done to analyze the effectivity of thermal cameras on detecting crowd inside a building. By using surveys and literature reviews as our methods, the result of this research shows that from 30 survey respondents, with the average age of 17-25 years old that tends to do indoor activities, 55.6% of them find that crowd is affecting their efficiency during activities. Besides that, 66.7% respondents struggle to measure the crowd level inside a building, also 87.3% of them feels like there should be a solution to this problem. Thus, this research proves that the use of thermal censors on camera for crowd detection is very effective with the accuracy rate of 99%. In conclusion, thermal censor devices are effective to be used as crowd detection devices.

Abstract

Currently, various industries see the increasingly rapid development of modern technology, almost all institutions need a government information system, one of which is to automate data storage more quickly and easily. The levy receipt system is an example of information technology. One of the government agencies in Gresik Regency that has not implemented an information system for data processing is the Cooperative Service, located in Gresik, Kembangan, KEC.kebomas, Gresik Regency, East Java 61121. assisting other officers who handle administration in the Market Tax Sub-section, namely data processing Daily or monthly Market Tax payments still use a Tax Control Card or. To overcome this problem, an information system was developed using the PHP and HTML programming languages ​​and MYSQL DATABASE. The research methodology used in this research uses data collection methods. The conclusions are expected to help simplify the management of market services, such as managing traders, processing kiosks and losses, and processing fee data and reports, it is also hoped that it can reduce the risk of damage.

Abstract

Communities in Jayapura use groundwater for their daily needs both from springs, dug wells and drilled wells. The research was conducted in the Sentani and surrounding areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical and chemical properties of groundwater based on laboratory tests. The physical and chemical properties of groundwater are one of the main properties of water and are very useful for determining the quality of groundwater. This study took three sampling locations with stratified random sampling method. The samples taken were springs, dug wells and drilled wells. The parameters of the physical properties of groundwater tested included pH, temperature ( T0C ), TDS, hardness ( CaCO3 ), while the parameters of the chemical properties of ground water tested included magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), potassium (K), Sodium (Na), Sulfate (SO4), Chloride (Cl) and Bicarbonate (HCO3). In general, all samples analyzed from the study area showed that the levels of chemical elements in groundwater had not exceeded the drinking water standard limits, but there were locations that had high levels of magnesium, namely location 1 (Sosiri) of 149 mg/L. The results of the physical properties test showed that the test content value had not exceeded the drinking water standard limit, in the sense that the groundwater in the study area was suitable for use.

Abstract

As an innovation for food security in Indonesia, the Agriverse website has been developed, which is a platform for information media and education on hydroponic techniques. The website contains e-commerce services, agricultural extension services, data on nearby agricultural shops, articles and discussion forums. Because people still rarely know about hydroponic techniques, designing the website interface relies on the needs of target users using the User Centered Design method. Testing the Agriverse website using Black Box Testing and 5 Second Testing resulted in an average time of 9.6 seconds to try each feature, and the entire feature system for the website's functional requirements was successfully used.

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the lack of optimal use of interesting media, as well as the lack of teacher skills in using digital-based media in the learning process. Because of this, students often become bored and lose interest in learning lessons. As a result, learning materials tailored to students' interests and preferences are needed.One way to achieve this is by creating the development of Problem Based Learning Media using Canva for class X TKJ in basic computer network and telecommunications orientation subjects at SMK N 3 Padang. The aim of implementing Canva as a learning medium can be a creative solution to increase student focus by visualizing material in an interesting and interactive way. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D), and the development model used is 4D model design. This 4D development model consists of four stages, namely Define, Design,Develop (Development) and Disseminate (Dissemination). Research carried out at SMK N 3 Padang, research findings produced learning materials with material validity of 89.07% and media design validity of 93.7% and teacher response questionnaire answers of 96.6% and the student questionnaire response was 88.12 which can be categorized as very valid and practical.

Abstract

Residential is a place to live or everything related to a place to live and in a narrow sense can be interpreted as a residential area or residential building. In connection with the quality of residential facilities, employee satisfaction is an important aspect in improving the quality of the provided residential facilities. If the satisfaction of the residential facilities provided to employees is not met, the employees will feel uncomfortable and will sue the plantation of PTPN IV Marjandi Unit. Analyze the level of employee satisfaction with the quality of the residential provided by the plantation to its employees is The purpose of this study. One of the efforts to find out the satisfaction of employees of residential facilities is to use the C4.5 algorithm classification, where Dataset is obtained through the Questionnaire technique that will be given to employees at PTPN IV Marjandi Unit. As for the satisfaction of employees of residential facilities in terms of aspects (1) water facilities, (2) electricity facilities, (3) kitchen conditions, (4) bedroom conditions, (5) toilet conditions in dwellings inhabited by PTPN IV Unit plantation employees Marjandi. Data processing is assisted using Microsoft Excel software and to validate study data using a rapidminer tool. It is hoped that this research can provide solutions or become a reference for plantations to improve the quality of residential facilities provided to PTPN IV Marjandi Unit employees..

Abstract

The purpose of this research to effect variations cacao peel ash to parameters mechanical and morphology in making red brick. This research method uses the experiment. The research of characterization compressive strength value a minimum of 29,73 kg/cm2 and maximum of 243,82 kg/cm2. The morphology structure testing with software digimizer a minimum of 0,7985 μm, and maximum of 2,4551 μm. The composition of mixing clay, water, and cacao peel ash by increasing the burning temperature of bricks show the optimum test parameters at the temperature 1000℃ with variation in cacao peel ash is 20% that has the met the standard SNI 15-2094-2000.

Abstract

Consumer market demand for certain specifications of coal continues to increase every year. However, each coal company has a variety of coal qualities in terms of calorific value, water content, ash content, and total sulfur and so on. PT. Alamjaya Bara Pratama is a coal mining company that has several types of coal products that vary in quality. By coal blending, the aim is to obtain coal product that meet the target with a homogeneous composition and according to consumer coal quality specifications. With the linear programming method for coal blending calculations using the Production and Operation Management - Quantitave Methods software has an influence in maximizing the use of the composition quantity for each type of product (MD and HS) as well as optimizing the quality of the coal blending results. Through POM-QM, it has the advantage of being able to determine the benchmark target value for one of the desired coal quality parameters. With subbitumious coal quality as for the research results are calculations of the final quality for each Mother Vessel, one of which is MV Eastern Camelia with the planning results is (AC 5,0% adb, TS 0,90% adb, GAR 4590 kcal/kg arb) with tonnage requirements for coal products (MD = 29.727,84 MT and HS = 22.772,16 MT). Through the use of linear programming (POM-QM) in calculating coal blending planning, the results are obtained and meet each coal quality parameter limit criterion based on consumer demand.
