Journal of Electrical Network Systems and Sources (ENTRIES) is a peer-review journal published by Politeknik Negeri Ketapag . Journal of electrical network system and sources aims to provide a forum for academic researchers, industrial professionals, engineers, consultants, managers, educators and practitioners to contribute and disseminate innovative new work on electrical engineering related smart electrical network and system. All accepted papers will be published twice a year which is available online (open access). The manuscripts should be well presented in English or Indonesian. The author must follow ENTRIES template otherwise, the paper will not be processed.

Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology has now been widely applied in human life to assist in every activity. In meeting the needs of life, humans always want and think about ways to carry out daily activities effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study was to produce a prototype for controlling electronic devices at short or long distances using a smartphone application utilizing internet connectivity which is accessed through an application installed on a smartphone. Electronic devices that can be controlled consist of 4 lights and 4 sockets. Installing this tool costs Rp. 563,000, The conclusion of this study is that you can control the on and off lights and sockets either using a switch or using the Ardiuino bluetooth controller application. control of these electronic components can be applied to residential or apartment buildings for automatic control systems and also monitoring of electronic components with the Ardiuino bluetooth controller application. Based on the results of this final project is to make a single line and wiring diagram, namely in the installation of an automatic room or smartroom, namely the use of 4 lights. .Keywords: Smartroom, Lighting Automation System, Microcontroller.

Abstract

Gas is something that is very much needed in human life both in households and industries. However, there are many cases of fire caused by leaks from the cylinder or gas storage area. The cause of leaking gas cylinders can occur due to leaks in hoses, tubes or regulators that are not installed properly and the gas cylinders that are distributed are of poor quality or damaged. The design of this gas leak detection system uses the MQ-2 Sensor, Buzzer, Led Red, Green, and NodeMCU ESP8266. A gas leak detection system based on Internetx of Things (IoT) technology was built as a solution to reduce the risk of fire, explosion and gas poisoning which often occur due to gas leaks that are not detected quickly. With this system, users can obtain higher security and comfort in their activities, and users can quickly take preventive and extinguishing measures in the event of a gas leak. Notification of a gas leak and the level of the leak will be displayed on the user's smartphone via the WhatsApp application, so that when the user is not near the location of the gas leak, the user can still find out about it. The test results show that the program iscapable of running tools to detect gas levels and isable to provide warnings via red LEDs, buzzers, exhaust fans, and notifications from WhatsApp. Keywords: MQ-2 Sensor, NodeMCU ESP8266, Buzzer, Exhaust Fan, WhatsApp

Abstract

The current era is experiencing rapid advancements, and people are expecting a tool or technology that can assist in various tasks, particularly in agriculture. Hence, technology has become a necessity for humans. This final project aims to create a device that automates the process of watering chili plants, which was originally done manually. Irrigation is a crucial activity in chili plant maintenance because these plants require an adequate water supply to carry out photosynthesis and meet their growth and development needs. This project is accomplished by utilizing waste from a tilapia fishpond to replace the use of clean water for irrigating chili plants. Simultaneously, fish waste is employed as additional fertilizer for the plants. At a temperature of 27°C, with soil humidity readings below 60%, the pump will activate. Conversely, the pump will turn off if one of the sensors' readings does not meet the specified conditions to activate the pump, namely if the temperature rises above 27°C or the soil humidity surpasses the chili plant's ideal value of 80%. However, in this device, the pump is set to turn off at 75% humidity to prevent excessive soil moisture.

Abstract

In modern times, aspects of life have developed increasingly rapidly, especially in the field of electronics and technology. Where there are various components that can be programmed digitally,which includes Field Programmable Gate Array, which has been widely developed and studied. Thesystem to be operated is the basic logic gate, running led, flip flop, dc motor and stepper. The materialdiscussed in the trainer system programming is about counters, ring counters, and buffers. This trainerhelps the student learning system in designing digital systems that will program a system using a programlanguage, namely the VHDL language.

Abstract

This final project discusses the implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Monitoring System and Smart Farming for chicken farming. This technological innovation aims to enhance productivity and sustainability in the livestock industry. By connecting sensors to the IoT network, farmers can monitor the real-time conditions of the poultry house, such as temperature, humidity, and air quality. The objective of this writing is to design an IoT-based monitoring and smart farming system specifically for use in chicken farming. This system will enable real-time area monitoring, automation of feeding and drinking processes, and data management for farmers. The benefits of this proposal for students include enhancing knowledge about IoT and monitoring systems in the field of poultry farming. In related fields of study, this final project will provide an understanding of IoT application in agriculture and livestock. Meanwhile, for farmers and the livestock industry, the benefits lie in improving the productivity and quality of poultry farming.
