Abstract

This research aims to develop a wheelchair control system based on a microcontroller using Arduino Uno, a joystick, and Bluetooth HC-05 for wireless connectivity. The goal is to enhance the affordability and comfort of wheelchair users through this control system. Arduino Uno serves as the main control unit, receiving input from the joystick. Wireless connection utilizes Bluetooth HC-05 technology, providing flexibility for remote operation. The system design involves selecting appropriate sensors and actuators to ensure responsiveness and everyday safety. This innovation eliminates the need for wheelchair users to manually operate it with significant effort. The control system provides an opportunity for those with physical limitations to be independent and enhance mobility in daily activities. With this solution, wheelchair users can experience greater independence and participate more actively in various activities.

Abstract

In modern times, aspects of life have developed increasingly rapidly, especially in the field of electronics and technology. Where there are various components that can be programmed digitally,which includes Field Programmable Gate Array, which has been widely developed and studied. Thesystem to be operated is the basic logic gate, running led, flip flop, dc motor and stepper. The materialdiscussed in the trainer system programming is about counters, ring counters, and buffers. This trainerhelps the student learning system in designing digital systems that will program a system using a programlanguage, namely the VHDL language.

Abstract

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) dissolving is the process of removing copper layers on PCBs to produce conductive path patterns. On a hobby scale, this process is often done manually, takes a long time and involves repetitive physical work. By designing a control system on a PCB solvent machine, the dissolving process can be more efficient. The automated system will automate most of the steps in the dissolving process, reducing the time it takes and improving operational efficiency. The automated control system will provide a more accurate and consistent solution result compared to manual processes, reducing human error and improving product quality. The impact of PCB dimensions on the dissolving process can also be minimized by automatic adjustment, ensuring uniform and optimal outcomes on various PCB sizes.Keywords : PCB dissolving, Control

Abstract

This research aims to develop a non-invasive health monitoring system capable of measuring glucose levels, oxygen saturation, and heart rate using near-infrared (NIR) technology and a red LED, without the need for needle pricks. This system is designed to address the drawbacks of invasive methods that require blood samples, which often cause discomfort and risk of infection, especially for diabetic patients. The research methodology includes the development and testing of a device based on the MAX30102 sensor, utilizing an infrared wavelength of 900 nm and a red LED at 670 nm, along with the mega328P microcontroller for data processing. The research results indicate that this technology has significant potential to improve the quality of life for diabetic patients by offering a convenient, safe, and practical health monitoring solution. Measurement results show consistency with comparative devices, indicating the relevance and accuracy of this technology. This research opens up opportunities for further advancements in non-invasive health monitoring technology.

Abstract

This research develops a prototype of a water supply monitoring and control system utilizing IoT technology that can be implemented in various locations. Water, as a vital resource, is used for a wide range of needs, from household to industrial applications. The system developed uses a WLT sensor to detect water levels connected to a PLC, and an ultrasonic sensor to measure water levels in the tank, which is connected to an ESP32. The data is sent to the Blynk platform, enabling real-time monitoring and control of tank water filling through a mobile application or web PC. The results show that this system is effective in measuring water levels and controlling the pump automatically, preventing water wastage. IoT connectivity via Blynk allows for monitoring and control anytime and anywhere. These findings highlight the importance of IoT technology in enhancing the efficiency of water and electricity usage, offering practical solutions within the academic environment in West Kalimantan.

Abstract

Budidaya sarang burung walet memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi mulai dari 8 hingga 15 juta perkilogram berdasarkan kualitas sarang, namun menghadapi tantangan dalam monitoring dan keamanan, terutama untuk rumah walet yang jauh dari pemukiman. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem miniatur yang mengintegrasikan monitoring kualitas udara berbasis IoT, komunikasi jarak jauh LoRa, dan sumber energi terbarukan PLTS untuk rumah walet. Metodologi mencakup perancangan sistem kontrol otomatis untuk suhu, kelembaban, dan pencahayaan, serta sistem keamanan menggunakan sensor getar dan limit switch. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem berhasil menjaga kondisi optimal rumah walet dengan suhu 26°C-29°C, kelembaban 80%-95%, dan intensitas cahaya di bawah 10 lux. Komunikasi LoRa efektif hingga jarak 1,52 km dalam kondisi cuaca cerah dan 1,3 km saat cuaca tidak ideal. Sistem keamanan berhasil mendeteksi potensi ancaman dan mengirimkan peringatan melalui WhatsApp. Implementasi PLTS dengan panel 50Wp dan baterai 12V 10Ah mampu mensuplai daya sistem secara mandiri. Penelitian ini mendemonstrasikan efektivitas integrasi IoT, LoRa, dan PLTS dalam meningkatkan efisiensi monitoring dan keamanan rumah walet, terutama di lokasi terpencil dengan keterbatasan sinyal dan listrik.

Abstract

In the era of digitalization 4.0, technology plays a crucial role in enhancing efficiency across various industrial sectors. This research proposes the design and development of a Robot Line Follower AGV for automated goods transportation. This robot utilizes an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the control center and is equipped with four primary sensors: IR TCRT5000, Ultrasonic HC-SR04, Load Cell, and TCS3200 Color Sensor. Output indicators, including a Buzzer and LED, provide operational feedback, while a DC motor is controlled by a PID algorithm to ensure accurate movement along the path. The development of this system is expected to improve the efficiency of goods transportation processes while fostering innovation in the industrial and creative economy sectors.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a prototype of a laboratory-scale wave generator to explore the potential of river wave energy, which has mostly been focused on marine energy due to its significant potential. The device consists of a container measuring 100x22x30 cm, using a servo motor to generate water ripples and an ultrasonic sensor to detect ripple height. Two propulsion methods are employed: simultaneous and alternating, with more varied ripple patterns observed in the alternating method. Changes in the servo motor’s angle produce three thrust levels with different wave heights: slow (1-2 cm), moderate (2.5-3 cm), and strong (3 cm). The findings highlight the renewable energy potential of river wave energy, which can be harnessed sustainably, reducing carbon emissions, dependency on fossil fuels, while enhancing energy security and job creation.

Abstract

The current energy crisis encourages the use of renewable energy resources to reduce dependence on non-renewable fossil fuels. The use of renewable energy resources is environmentally friendly, especially in power generation. The research method uses a Hybrid PLTS and PLTB output power control and monitoring system, which monitors both solar power plants and windmills. Data from the sensor is stored according to the time of collection, and monitored via a Smartphone or Laptop device using the ThinkSpeak website via the ESP32 microcontroller. The sensors used include the Non-Inverting Buffer Sensor and the ACS758 Sensor. Temperature, temperature and wind testing is carried out with a DHT22 sensor and an anemometer. DHT and Annemometer sensor data do not use a data storage system, only monitoring.

Abstract

Di era digitalisasi yang semakin meningkat, konektivitas Internet telah menjadi komponen penting dalam infrastruktur teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK). Protokol Internet Protocol (IP) memegang peranan penting dalam transmisi data melalui jaringan komputer. IPv4 telah menjadi standar utama untuk transmisi data melalui Internet sejak diperkenalkan pada tahun 1983. Namun, dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan penggunaan Internet, terutama selama beberapa dekade terakhir, jumlah alamat IP yang tersedia untuk IPv4 mulai menjadi masalah nyata. Hal ini penting mengingat pesatnya pertumbuhan perangkat yang terhubung ke internet seperti ponsel pintar, komputer, dan perangkat Internet of Things (IoT) Beberapa fitur keamanan dibangun langsung ke dalam protokol IPv6, seperti penggunaan otentikasi dan enkripsi untuk melindungi data yang dikirim melalui jaringan. Ini membantu meningkatkan privasi pengguna internet dan keamanan data. Hal ini memungkinkan jaringan untuk memprioritaskan jenis data tertentu, seperti video dan audio, untuk memastikan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih baik. Hal ini termasuk mengevaluasi penerapan IPv6 di lingkungan jaringan lokal Anda, mengevaluasi kebutuhan dan potensi manfaat transisi ke IPv6, dan menyelidiki cara terbaik untuk mengintegrasikan IPv6 ke dalam infrastruktur Anda yang ada. Dengan penerapan IPv6, Politeknik Negeri Pontianak akan menjadi yang terdepan dalam menjawab tantangan dan peluang era digital yang semakin berkembang sekaligus meningkatkan kapasitas dan keamanan jaringan.
