Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of fifth grade students' mathematics learning on the volume of space using the lecture and assignment model at SDN Sepakung. The final formulation is whether the jigsaw method can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Sepakung, Banyubiru subdistrict, Semarang district. This research aims to determine the jigsaw method in improving and improving mathematics learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SDN Sepakung, Banyubiru subdistrict, Semarang Regency. The type of research used is classroom action research. The subjects of this research are class V students at SDN Sepakung, Banyubiru subdistrict, totaling 26 second semester students at state elementary schools. Sepakung, Banyubiru sub-district, Semarang district on April 11 2023. The data collection technique for this research is by assessing the learning outcomes of class V students, observing teacher skills and observing student activities during the learning process. The data analysis used is assessment of class V student learning outcomes, data analysis of teacher skills and student activities. Research results from Pre-Cycle to Cycle II always experience an increase in student learning outcomes. In Cycle I it increased to 15 students who completed their studies with a percentage of 58%. In Cycle II it increased again to 23 students who completed with a percentage of 88% and had met the completeness criteria, namely 75%. Thus, this research is sufficient to reach Cycle II, because the application of the Jigsaw type model can improve student learning outcomes. Improvement of teacher skills in teaching in cycle I was 52.78 converted to a scale of 4 to 2.11 with sufficient qualifications, in cycle II it was 85 converted to a scale of 4 to 3.33 with good qualifications.Keywords: Improvement, Learning Outcomes, Jigsaw Method.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the delivery of material from PPKn teachers which tends to be monotonous and lacks variety, as well as indicators of teacher communication skills not being optimal according to Yosal Iriantara (2013:7), such as being able to ask questions that encourage students to understand the learning material themselves, being able to ask questions that encourage questions. high level, and skilled in various interaction techniques to prevent boredom. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is a significant influence between teachers' communication skills on the learning interest of class.This research is quantitative. The subjects of this research were class The sampling technique applied was cluster proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, data analysis uses normality tests, regression tests, determination tests and F tests with the help of the SPSS 22 program. The results of the research state that there is a significant influence between teachers' communication skills on interest in learning Civics in class 5%. Abstract

This research aims to develop a local stories book in Indonesian language subjects for grade 1 elementary school students in Singorojo District, Kendal Regency. This research also aims to determine the validity and practicality of the local stories book which was developed according to students' needs. This research uses a development model according to Sugiyono which includes potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design improvement, product testing, and product revision. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative, the variables studied include the validity of the local stories book which was developed through validation by expert experts and practicality based on student questionnaire responses. Based on the research results, it was found that (1) the local stories book validity test by material experts obtained an overall score of 87; (2) media expert aspects of book size, book cover design, and book content design received an overall score of 92; (3) and the practicality test based on the student response questionnaire obtained a score of 88.8. Thus, it is hoped that this research can make a contribution to the field of education and provide solutions that can be used by teachers in facing future learning challengesKeywords: Indonesian Book, Local Stories Book

Abstract

Education is an important instituation in educating the nation’s generation. However, education in Indonesia is still not advanced, there are many factors that cause education to not progress. Namely the lack of application of the values in Pancasila which is the gulding ideology in Indonesia. These values are still not applied to students who will ultimately become members of society who blend in various fields of life. Pancasila values are increasingly being eroded by the number of foreign cultures that are not properly filtered. Until now, Pancasila has only been memorized but not implemented properly and corrctly. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of students' text writing skills in the Indonesian language subject, writing skills material in class 3 of Bandungan 01 State Elementary School, Bandungan District. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the application of the discussion method using flashcard media can improve the descriptive text writing skills of 3rd grade students at SD Negeri Bandungan 01, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency? This research aims to find out whether the discussion method using flashcard media can improve the descriptive text writing skills of grade 3 students at SD Negeri Bandungan 01, Bandungan sub-district, Semarang Regency.The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) taking as subjects 3rd grade students at Bandungan 01 State Elementary School. This research was carried out in the 2023-2024 school year from October to November 2023 using the 2013 Curriculum. Text writing skills were measured based on the percentage of score achieved. write text. The research implementation procedure was carried out in two cycles. The data collection technique for this research is by assessing the writing skills of grade 3 students, observing teacher skills, and observing student activities during the learning process. The data analysis used was an assessment of grade 3 students' writing skills, data analysis of teacher skills and analysis of student activities.The research results showed that the percentage of achievement in improving students' writing skills in cycle I was 43.33%, while in cycle II it was 83.33% in the very good category. The increase in teacher skills in teaching in the first cycle was 63.8%, including the sufficient category, and experienced an increase in the second cycle of 88.80% in the very good category. The same thing happened to student activities, namely in cycle I student activity was 40% (fair) to 83.3% (very good) in cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that the discussion method uses flashcard media can improve the writing skills of class III students at SD Negeri Bandungan 01.Keywords: writing skills, discussion methods, and mediaflashcard.

Abstract

Variation skills in teaching are important for teachers. Therefore, the focus of this research is to analyze the skills of teachers to make variations which include variations in teaching styles, media variations, and variations in interaction patterns in class V in thematic learning at SDN Ngargoloka, Gladagsari District, Boyolali Regency. The type of research used is qualitative and the research data is analyzed descriptively. From the data analysis, it was found that the fifth grade teacher already had the skills to make variations in learning. The variety of teaching styles of fifth grade teachers is said to be good and varied, because almost all indicators of teaching style variations have been implemented. The teacher's skills in making variations that have been owned such as voice variations, silence, gestures, concentration of attention, eye contact, and the help of learning media tools used such as maps, globes, source books, LCD, and HandPhone and interaction patterns. The obstacles experienced by teachers in applying the skills of making variations are that teachers experience confusion in explaining thematic material that combines several materials at one time, besides that the character of different students, such as when the teacher gives time for discussion, only a few students do it and the others are busy themselves. this happens because schools have limited facilities and infrastructure such as teaching aids and learning media, so this limitation makes teachers when explaining thematic material without the help of media become abstract for students and it is easier to understand the material presented by the teacher if the teacher explains the material using tools. Abstract

To improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in building materials, teachers require the application of interesting learning models and media. In an effort to achieve this goal, researchers will apply the Make a Match learning model assisted by Magic Ball Learning Media so that students are more interested in learning activities. The type of research used by researchers is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles with data collection techniques through test results. The results of the research through the application of the Make A Match learning model assisted by Magic Ball Learning Media showed an increase in classical achievement of KKM (70) by 94% in cycle 2, which means this research was declared successful.Keywords: learning outcomes, Make A Match, Magic Ball

Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive, differentiated, technology-based learning model and shared learning experiences (Better Plan) for elementary school learning. This research also aims to validate the model. This research uses the ADDIE development model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The data collection technique is carried out through filling out a questionnaire. Based on the research results, it was found that (1) the Better Plan learning model was successfully developed by researchers by developing a learning model based on interactive technology, differentiated learning, and shared learning experiences for elementary school learning; (2) the Better Plan learning model is a valid tool and can be used for elementary school learning. This model has been validated by two learning experts, obtaining results of 95% and 94% in the very valid category. Thus, it is hoped that this research can make a contribution to the field of education and provide solutions that can be used by teachers in facing future learning challenges.Keywords: Learning loss, learning model, better plan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the 5.0 revolution era which requires 21st century abilities that must be possessed by all fields, one of which is the field of education. One of the keys to success in facing the challenges of the 21st century is science literacy. The purpose of this study is to describe the science literacy skills of grade IV B MI Gedanganak students in IPAS learning. The type of research used is qualitative research. This research using triangulation techniques. Data were collected through performance tests, observations, and interviews. The results of the study found that the average score of science literacy skills of grade IV B students seen from the content aspect could be categorized as “medium”, the science process aspect is categorized as “low”, the context aspect of science is include in the “high” category, and the attitude aspect can be categorized as “very high”. So learning that is more student-centered is expected to can improve students’ science literacy skills in IPAS learning at school.Keywords: science literacy skills, IPAS learning
