Abstract

This study reveals seven key findings related to factors that influence consumer purchase intention on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee. Influencers have a significant influence on purchase intention, while product quality does not have a direct impact, but plays a role in building consumer trust. Consumer trust is proven to have a strong influence on purchase intention. Brand quality relationships and brand image mediate the influence of social media on purchase intention on Shopee. In addition, product quality contributes to increasing consumer trust, which then influences purchase intention. The results of the study confirm that consumer trust is a crucial element in determining purchase intention, with product quality as the main foundation in building this trust. To increase purchase intention on Shopee, sellers are advised to improve product quality, provide transparent product descriptions, and provide responsive customer service. Marketing strategies through influencers and social media can strengthen brand relationships and product image. Sellers also need to utilize e-commerce features such as product reviews and promotions to build consumer trust and attract purchase intention. These findings provide strategic guidance for sellers in optimizing sales performance on e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

The aviation industry in Indonesia is one of the sectors that has experienced rapid growth along with the increasing mobility of society and the need for air transportation. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the decision to repurchase airline tickets at Garuda Indonesia Airlines using the Binary Logistic Regression method. The aviation industry in Indonesia, especially Garuda Indonesia Airlines, faces a major challenge in maintaining customer loyalty amidst tight market competition. Consumer decisions to repurchase airline tickets or make a repurchase are important indicators in determining the success of an airline's marketing and service strategy. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design, involving 197 respondents selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire that measured seven factors of service quality and customer satisfaction. The analysis was conducted using SPSS, and the results showed that of the various indicators tested, four factors had a significant influence on repurchase decisions. These factors are call center services, promotions through official websites, email blasting, and Garudamiles services. Call center service factors, promotions through websites and email blasting, and the existence of Garudamiles membership products tend to be important factors that influence repurchase decisions with an accuracy rate of 80.7%. These results provide insight for Garuda Indonesia to optimize marketing strategies to increase customer retention and profitability.

Abstract

Unemployment remains a significant socioeconomic concern, diminishing both productivity and income while potentially triggering broader societal issues. This study investigates how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), wage levels, population size, and education levels affect unemployment rates across districts and cities in East Java Province from 2019 to 2023. Utilizing secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), this research applies panel data analysis, integrating time series data from 2019 to 2023 with cross-sectional data from 39 districts and cities. Three regression models Common Effect Model (CEM), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM) were examined, with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) determined as the most suitable approach. Findings reveal that the independent variables collectively influence unemployment rates, as evidenced by an F-statistic of 10.87244 and a p-value of 0.000000, signifying strong statistical relevance. Further analysis reveals that wage levels negatively affect unemployment, implying that higher wages reduce unemployment rates. Meanwhile, population size and education levels positively influence unemployment, suggesting that an increasing population and higher education levels do not necessarily lead to lower unemployment. Interestingly, the study finds that MSMEs do not significantly impact unemployment rates in East Java.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of Sustainable Supply Chain Management Practices (SSCMP) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which are important contributors to economic development but are still limited in their implementation. Through exploring the role of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) as a mediating and moderating variable in improving MSME Sustainable Performance (SP). This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how effective SCRM implementation can significantly affect MSME performance and sustainability. This study adopts a quantitative approach, building on previous studies to formulate hypotheses and conceptual frameworks, and adding a new variable, SCRM. Exploratory Factor Analysis was conducted to align the indicators with the specific conditions of MSMEs in Indonesia. Data were collected from 152 MSMEs in various sectors and processed using SEM-PLS to evaluate the proposed model and test the hypotheses. The findings reveal that SSCMP has a significant positive impact on SP and SCRM. SCRM was found to have a significant positive influence on SP, as well as a significant mediating role in the relationship between SSCMP and SP, thus enhancing the positive impact of SSCMP on performance. Other findings indicate that SCRM does not act as a moderating variable in the relationship between SSCMP and SP, indicating that its influence is more mediating than interactive. This study contributes theoretically by showing that SSCMP positively influences SP and SCRM, with SCRM acting as a significant mediator, but fails to support its role as a moderator in the relationship.

Besides, it aimed to improve employees’ understanding and performance at KSP KOPDIT Mitan Gita in Maumere, Sikka. Moreover, the study was associative-quantitative with a correlational approach and path analysis, to examine the relationship among the variables on employees’ performance through work motivation. The population was 138 permanent employees at KSP KOPDIT Mitan Gita. Furthermore, the data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The testing included validity, reliability, F-test, determination coefficient (R2), and t-test. As a result, the descriptive statistics test identified the significant effect of deadlines, work patterns, flexibility, and life needs on employees’ performance. Additionally, the result of validity and reliability was guaranteed (Cronbach’s alpha 0,60). The independent regression model was free from normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. In addition, the result of the path analysis showed that work motivation was effective as a mediator with the best model (R2 56,56%). In short, work competence, workload, and adversity intelligence had a significant effect on employees’ performance at KSP KOPDIT Mitan Gita, with work motivation as an important mediator.
