Abstract

Purchasing behavior in the digital marketplace is shaped by several variables, notably consumers' perceptions of price and the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM). This research investigates the extent to which these two factors—price perception and e-WOM—affect consumer purchasing decisions on the Shopee platform, both individually and collectively. Employing a quantitative approach through structured surveys distributed to active Shopee users, this study applies multiple linear regression analysis to evaluate the relationships between the independent variables (price perception and e-WOM) and the dependent variable (purchase decisions). The findings demonstrate that both variables significantly and positively influence consumer purchasing behavior. The results underscore the importance of competitive pricing strategies and the strategic use of e-WOM in enhancing consumer engagement and driving sales performance on e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of YouTube advertising and electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) on brand awareness and purchase intention among millennial consumers in Indonesia. This research is guided by the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to explain how digital marketing through YouTube ads and eWOM affects consumer behavior. The sample comprises 200 millennial consumers who actively use YouTube. Purposive sampling was employed to target individuals within this specific demographic. The study participants were aged 18–35 years, with varied educational backgrounds and income levels, providing insights into how these factors influence exposure to digital marketing and purchase decisions. Data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS software, with detailed testing for the validity and reliability of the measurement instruments. Specifically, the study examined factor loadings, average variance extracted (AVE), and composite reliability. Hypothesis testing results indicated a significant influence of YouTube and eWOM advertisements on brand awareness. Moreover, both YouTube and eWOM ads significantly impacted purchase intention among Indonesian millennials.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of product quality, suitability, and promotion on public interest in using Sharia life insurance in South Jakarta, with religiosity as a moderating variable. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 104 respondents through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). the results indicate that promotion is the most dominant factor influencing public interest and religiosity, emphasizing the need for effective promotional strategies. Product quality and suitability also positively impact public interest, while religiosity does not significantly moderate these relationships. Instead, religiosity plays an indirect and contextual role, depending on its interaction with other variables. The validity and reliability tests confirm the robustness of the measurement model, ensuring the credibility of findings. However, the insignificant effect of religiosity on public interest suggests the need for further exploration of its moderating role. This study highlights the crucial role of promotion in driving public interest, while religiosity requires deeper examination in future research.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of working capital, liquidity, solvency, and activity on profitability, with a specific focus on pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023—a sector chosen due to its distinctive financial dynamics, including high research and development expenditures, prolonged product cycles, and heightened relevance in the post-pandemic period. Utilizing a quantitative approach with panel data regression, the study incorporates model selection tests (Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier) and classical assumption tests to validate the model, addressing potential issues such as multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The analysis is based on secondary data from a defined sample of pharmaceutical firms, with operationalization of variables such as “activity” measured through asset turnover ratios. Findings reveal that while liquidity exerts a significant positive influence on profitability, suggesting the importance of effective cash management and short-term asset optimization, working capital and solvency display negative yet statistically insignificant effects, possibly reflecting the sector's dependence on long-term investments and leveraged capital structures. The study underscores the need for pharmaceutical firms to balance liquidity with strategic allocation of capital in light of industry-specific constraints.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of environmental knowledge, green perceived quality, and brand image on purchase intention toward environmentally friendly beauty products, with attitude as a mediating variable. Central Java was selected due to its growing interest in sustainable products and rising environmental awareness, making it a relevant context for green consumer behavior research in Indonesia. Using a quantitative method, data were collected from 185 respondents via an online survey, though self-selection bias may limit generalizability. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed for analysis. Results show that environmental knowledge and brand image significantly influence purchase intention, while green perceived quality affects purchase intention indirectly through attitude, indicating a potential lack of consumer clarity on green product quality. Attitude serves as a key mediator, underscoring the importance of positive consumer perceptions. These findings suggest that effective marketing strategies should focus on environmental education, brand strengthening, and clearer communication of product sustainability to boost consumer confidence and intention to purchase green beauty products.

Abstract

The effectiveness of civil servants in achieving organizational goals is greatly influenced by various factors, including work environment and job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of non-physical work environment and job satisfaction on the work spirit of civil servants at the Pontianak City Population and Civil Registration Office. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method, using primary data collected through questionnaires and interviews. Secondary data were employee performance appraisals and records of violations. The sample consisted of 49 respondents selected using the saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using IBM SPSS 26, which included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis tests through multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the non-physical work environment had a significant positive effect on work enthusiasm, while job satisfaction did not show a significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.239, which indicates that 23.9% of the variation in work enthusiasm is explained by the non-physical work environment and job satisfaction, while the remaining 76.1% is caused by other variables. This study concludes that improving the non-physical work environment can positively influence work enthusiasm, which in turn can improve employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of funding decisions, institutional ownership, and current ratio on company value, with return on assets (ROA) as a moderating variable, specifically in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The problem addressed is how these financial factors and ROA interact to affect the value of companies in the energy sector. The primary objectives of this study are to assess the impact of these variables on company value and to determine the moderating role of ROA. The research utilizes associative methods, with data collected from secondary sources, such as financial reports published by 52 energy sector companies on the IDX from 2021 to 2023. The data is analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), after conducting classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroskedasticity. The findings indicate that funding decisions, institutional ownership, and current ratio significantly influence company value, and ROA moderates the relationship between these variables and company value. The results suggest that strategic decisions regarding funding, ownership structure, and liquidity management play crucial roles in enhancing company value, with ROA serving as a pivotal factor in strengthening these relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of burnout and work-life balance on quiet quitting within hospital settings. This research utilizes a correlational analytical framework. The independent factors include burnout (X1) and work-life balance (X2), whereas the dependent variable is quiet quitting (Y). The research sample comprised 191 participants, and the data were analyzed via multiple linear regression. The research revealed that burnout and work-life balance collectively influence quiet quitting among hospital personnel. Burnout exhibits a significant amount of 0.001, while work-life balance demonstrates a substantial value of zero. This research model accounts for 57.6% of the diversity in quiet quitting, leaving 42.4% attributable to factors outside the study's scope. Work-life balance exerts a more significant impact on quiet resignation than tiredness. This indicates that the equilibrium between professional and personal life is more critical in mitigating the probability of health workers departing discreetly than the degree of burnout encountered. To prevent quiet termination, hospitals must enhance the well-being of healthcare staff through effective management and promotion of work-life balance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Net Profit Margin (NPM), Operating Cash Flow (OCF), Trading Volume, and Intellectual Capital (IC) on Firm Value in infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023. The approach used in this study is quantitative with secondary data obtained from annual financial reports. The population consists of 69 infrastructure companies listed on the IDX, with 33 companies selected through purposive sampling. The analysis was carried out using IBM SPSS 26. The results showed that NPM, OCF, Trading Volume, and IC have a significant positive effect on Firm Value, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 43.7%, the remaining 56.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Based on the F test results, it shows that the NPM, OCF, Trading Volume, and IC variables simultaneously affect the Firm Value. Based on the t test results, it shows that the NPM, OCF, Trading Volume, and IC variables partially affect the Firm Value. This finding highlights the importance of financial factors and intangible factors, such as Intellectual Capital, in determining the market value of companies in the infrastructure sector. For investors, these variables are very important in assessing potential investment opportunities. Future research can extend the sample period to include more years and explore additional financial indicators to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence firm value. This will provide stronger insights into long-term investment strategies in the infrastructure sector.
