Abstract

Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) is a microfinance institution owned by traditional villages in Bali, which provides savings and loan services to the community. This study aims to design and develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) to map the distribution of credit customers at LPD Desa Adat Mengwitani. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The technology used includes the Python programming language with the Flask framework and the Folium library for interactive map visualization. Customer data is stored in a MySQL database and connected using SQLAlchemy. System testing was carried out using the black box testing method, and the results showed that the system performed well without any bugs. The final product is a web-based application that displays an interactive map with customer location markers and customer information in popups. This system helps LPD monitor customer distribution visually and supports decision-making related to credit service and management.

Abstract

This study discusses the optimization of bandwidth usage in the computer network of Heteroku Computer Bali by implementing the Simple Queue method on a Mikrotik Routerboard device. The main issue identified was the unequal distribution of bandwidth, which resulted in decreased network connection quality. The purpose of this study was to implement the Simple Queue method to optimize bandwidth usage and to analyze its impact on network stability. The research followed the stages of the Network Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, simulation, implementation, and monitoring. Configuration was carried out by limiting Ether1 to Ether5 to 100 Mbps each. The test results showed an improvement in fair bandwidth distribution and more stable network connectivity. Thus, the implementation of the Simple Queue method successfully addressed the issue of bandwidth distribution and improved the overall network performance in the study environment.

Abstract

Manual management of transactions and administration is still commonly found in car rental companies, often leading to recording errors, limited data tracking, and operational inefficiency. CV Metro Trans Christindo Bali is one such company facing these issues. This prompted the development of a web-based information system to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The system was developed using the ADDIE approach, involving the stages of needs analysis, system design, and implementation using Laravel 11, PHP 8.2, and a MySQL database. The system features include booking via messaging services, vehicle data management, rental transactions, customer reviews, and operational reporting. Testing was conducted using blackbox testing with the functional testing method to ensure each feature operates according to specifications. The results showed that the system functions optimally without significant errors and is capable of improving administrative order, work efficiency, and supporting decision-making within the company.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven digital transformation across various sectors, including pawn services. Enoni Cell, a microenterprise engaged in electronic goods pawning, still relies on a manual recording system, leading to frequent errors, delayed services, and difficulties in data tracking. This study aims to develop a web-based pawn information system to improve operational efficiency and service quality. The system covers customer registration, item data entry, pawn period extensions, and redemption processes, all accessible in real time by both administrators and customers. The development method used is the waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The results show that the system accelerates administrative processes, reduces errors, and enhances information accessibility. This research contributes to improving service professionalism and supports digital transformation in microenterprises such as Enoni Cell.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a major driving force in the changing landscape of modern business. This study aims to examine the strategic role of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting innovation and achieving competitive advantage in the digital era. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on a literature review, this study analyzes various empirical and theoretical findings related to the implementation of AI in a business context. The results indicate that AI plays a crucial role in process automation, big data analysis, and improving the quality of consumer-oriented decision-making. In addition to driving operational efficiency, AI also opens up opportunities for product innovation and new, more adaptive, customer-driven business models. However, the implementation of AI is not without challenges such as digital infrastructure readiness, human resource competency gaps, and issues of data ethics and regulation. Therefore, integrating AI into business strategy requires a holistic, collaborative approach based on responsible governance. This research provides conceptual and practical contributions in designing AI-based digital transformation strategies, while also serving as a reference for policymakers and business actors to strengthen sustainable competitiveness.

Abstract

The mapping of Pura Tri Kahyangan in Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency, is still carried out conventionally, which complicates access to accurate spatial information for the public and stakeholders. This study aims to provide spatial data visualization of Pura Tri Kahyangan by utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technology based on digital maps. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results show that digital mapping using GIS can present the distribution of temple locations along with their supporting attributes interactively through a visualization dashboard. The implementation of this technology enhances the efficiency of information delivery, supports cultural preservation, and serves as a foundation for decisionmaking in temple management. Therefore, digital mapping is a strategic solution to provide accessible and informative spatial data.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, particularly in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), provides significant opportunities for preserving cultural heritage. One example is the palaces in the Denpasar City and Badung Regency areas, which have high historical and cultural value, but their existence is increasingly threatened by urban development and the lack of available information. This study aims to map the distribution of palaces using web-based GIS as an effort to preserve and disseminate information to the wider public. The system was developed using the ADDIE method, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The system was built with Laravel 11, PHP 8.2, a MySQL database, and uses the Leaflet.js interactive map. The result of this study is a palace mapping website that allows the public to access location information and the history of palaces interactively without having to log in, and provides data management rights for admins. The system's main features include an admin dashboard, palace data management, interactive maps, location search, and integration with Google Maps. The testing phase was carried out using the Black Box method to describe the system's performance according to the designed functionality. This research is projected to support the preservation of the palace as a Balinese cultural heritage and become a reference in the documentation of other cultural sites.

Abstract

In the digital era, the preservation of local culture faces both challenges and opportunities. One of the cultural heritages that requires attention is traditional Balinese woven fabric, which holds high historical, aesthetic, and philosophical values but remains relatively unknown among the younger generation. This study aims to design an interactive and educational User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) for a website dedicated to introducing and marketing traditional Balinese woven fabrics. The approach is expected to bridge traditional values with modern digital habits, while fostering cultural appreciation through digital media. This research adopts the prototype method, with the UI/UX design developed using Figma and evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The test results from 41 respondents yielded a SUS score of 70, which is above the global average score of 68, indicating that the design falls within the “Good” or “Acceptable” category. The resulting website design not only facilitates product transactions but also provides educational information about the creation process and cultural values embedded in the fabrics. Therefore, the developed UI/UX design is expected to serve as a digital solution for preserving Balinese woven fabrics and increasing young people’s engagement with local cultural heritage.

Abstract

Bali is one of the provinces in Indonesia that possesses a unique and diverse cultural heritage across its regions. This culture serves as a vital asset for tourism and national identity. However, amidst modernization and globalization, cultural preservation faces significant challenges. Pupuan District, as part of Tabanan Regency, has a variety of arts and rituals that need to be systematically documented to prevent them from being forgotten. This study aims to develop a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) to inventory the arts and rituals in Pupuan District, Tabanan. The research utilizes the ADDIE method, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The system is developed using the Laravel 11 framework, PHP 8.2, and Leaflet for interactive mapping, with MySQL as the database to store cultural information. The research findings indicate that this system facilitates stakeholders in accessing cultural information through a website equipped with interactive features. The system testing was conducted using the blackboxtesting method, and the results showed that the system operates optimally according to user requirements.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology in academic management continues to evolve to support the efficiency and quality of higher education services. In the Information Systems Study Program at UNHI, the thesis supervision process is still conducted through several separate platforms, such as Google Forms and messaging applications, which leaves room for improvement in terms of effectiveness through a unified system that integrates the entire process. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Thesis Supervision Management Information System (SIMBISA) to facilitate a more structured and efficient supervision process. The system was developed using the waterfall method and the CodeIgniter 4 framework, while system testing was conducted using the blackbox testing method. The development results show that SIMBISA is capable of facilitating the submission of research topics, supervision scheduling, revision uploads, and the submission of proposal and thesis documents in an organized and well-documented manner. In addition, the system provides easy access to information for students and supervisors to monitor supervision progress. Blackbox testing results indicate that all features function according to user needs, making the system effective in supporting a comprehensive and integrated thesis supervision process. With the implementation of SIMBISA, thesis supervision management is expected to become more systematic, accountable, and accessible at any time throughout the process.
