Abstract

In 2022, the Bali Provincial Culture Office implemented a standardization and certification program for art institutions in Bali Province. This program aims to improve the quality of art studios through quality control, better management of studio organizations, and efficiency in the implementation of art activities in the community. To support these goals, a data-driven information center about art studios in Bali is needed that utilizes technological advances. This study aims to develop a web-based geographic information system that maps the location of art studios in Bali Province using data from the results of standardization and certification of art institutions. The system was developed using the PHP programming language, with digital maps displayed through the LeafletJS library and utilizing base maps from OpenStreetMap. Studio locations are marked using markers based on latitude and longitude coordinates. The system development utilizes the Agile methodology, while system testing is conducted using the Black Box method that focuses on the functional aspects of the software.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology encourages higher education institutions to adopt interactive and immersive digital promotional media. The Indonesian Hindu University does not yet have a Virtual Reality-based platform capable of providing a comprehensive visualization of its campus environment. This study aims to design and implement a 360° Virtual Tour application as a digital campus guide using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, anddistribution stages. The application was developed as a web-based system using 3DVista and PTGui software to generate interactive 360° panoramas. System testing was conducted through alpha testing by media experts using the Guttman scale, resulting in a 100% validation score, indicating that the application is highly valid. Beta testing involving 20 respondents using a Likert scale showed a feasibilityscore of 85.4%, categorized as highly feasible. The results indicate that the application provides an interactive and informative experience and is effective as a digital campus promotion and guidance tool

Abstract

The development of information technology has created opportunities in preserving cultural heritage, especially lontar manuscripts with high historical and philosophical value. However, the management of lontar manuscripts at the Hindu University of Indonesia is still conducted manually, leading to risks such as physical damage, data loss, and limited access. This study aimed to develop a web-based information system for digital archiving of lontar manuscripts. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, including requirement analysis, system design, development, testing, and maintenance. The system was implemented using PHP with Laravel 12 framework, Inertia.js, and Vue.js. Testing was conducted using Blackbox Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The results showed that the system improved efficiency in data management and facilitated information retrieval based on categories.

Abstract

A stable and reliable internet connection is essential for supporting learning activities in computer labs. Disruptions to any single connection can hinder academic activities, making a network redundancy mechanism necessary. This study aims to design and implement a recursive failover method on a Mikrotik router by utilizing two internet connections (dual gateway). The method used is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC), which includes analysis, design, simulation, implementation, and monitoring. Testing was conducted using PingPlotter 5 by simulating an outage on one of the ISPs. The results show that the system is capable of automatically switching paths without manual intervention. During a 60-minute observation period, a downtime of 25 seconds and an uptime of 3,575 seconds were recorded, with a network availability rate of 99.30%. This method has proven to enhance network reliability and availability.

Abstract

The use of information technology in the social sector continues to develop in order to improve service efficiency and transparency. Hindu Dharma Jati I Orphanage faces challenges in delivering information and managing donations due to the absence of a self-managed digital platform. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system to support information dissemination and online donation processes in a more structured manner. The system was developed using the ADDIE method and the Laravel 12 framework, and tested using blackbox testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). The test was conducted involving a sample of 15 users and 5 admins. The results show that the system is able to provide structured information and facilitate online donations for both the community and orphanage administrators. Based on the UAT results, the system showed a very good level of acceptance with an average value exceeding 90% on the user page and 97%–100% on the admin page, so it was declared acceptable and able to support user needs effectively and efficiently.
