Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the impact of financial inclusion on public financial services education through financial technology. This research was conducted in Sleman Regency because the area was quite large in Yogyakarta, and was ranked third. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and literature studies. Data analyses used in this study are the validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical test, and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis test. The results of this study found that financial inclusion has been proven to have no impact on public financial services education. However, financial inclusion has proven to have a significant impact on financial technology in Sleman Regency in 2018. In addition, financial inclusion through financial technology has also proven to have a positive impact on public financial service education in Sleman Regency in 2018.

Abstract

Transportation applications are now becoming a popular means of transportation in major cities of developing countries. This is because high levels of community mobility are faced with high levels of congestion. This study was constructed to test the effect of service quality to e-WOM through consumer satisfaction by using PLS SEM-path modeling. Empirical findings indicated that all hypotheses tested are proven. Service quality had a significant positive effect directly on satisfaction and indirectly against e-WOM. Subsequently, from the service quality indicator, the most influential indicator was the driver interaction with the consumer. These findings were different from public transportation, which did not employ online application where indicator tangibles had the highest effect that create consumer perception of service quality. Abstract

The Impact of Market Structure to Profitability in The Indonesian Islamic Banking IndustryThe aim at the study to analyze the impact of market structure to the profitability of Islamic banking industry in Indonesia. The method of this research is panel regression with random effect. Data shown that Indonesian Islamic banking industry is highly concentrated, we can see the concentration ratio above 45%. The estimation result shown that the market structure –that proxied by market share- don’t have an impact on profitability in Indonesian Islamic banking industry. The control variables shown that only BOPO and NPF ratio that have an impact on profitability, otherwise the CAR and GDP growth don’t have an impact on profitability. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Implementation of Quality Management Systems and Service Quality on the Satisfaction of Participants (Customers), as well as the Implementation of Quality Management Systems on Service Quality. Data collection through the distribution of questionnaires to participants of PT. Taspen. Regression analysis is used to prove the hypothesis. The results showed that the implementation of the Quality Management System and Service Quality affected the Participant Satisfaction and the Implementation of the Quality Management System affected the Service Quality. Implementation of the Quality Management System has a weak effect on Participant Satisfaction. This study also shows that the Implementation of Quality Management Systems to Participant Satisfaction is mediated by Service Quality. This result has several managerial implications.

Abstract

Influences Of External and Internal Environment Against Competitive Advantage In Small and Medium Industries in Bandung, West Java. IKM entrepreneurs need to make the understanding of the external environment. The existence of dynamic change and competition in an industry can find opportunities that are adjusted to the capabilities of the company. Besides analyzing the external environment can help the entrepreneurs determine the needs and desires of the market. Instead internal environment analysis shows what should be done by the company. The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the influence of external and internal environment on competitive advantage. The method used is a survey method, descriptive and explanatory survey. The number of respondents in this study were 140 IKM entrepreneurs in Bandung, West Java, which is determined by the sampling technique that is proportional cluster random sampling. To test the hypothesis of the study used statistical multivariate testing tool Partial Least Square (PLS). As for the use of data processing programs and SPSS version 2.0 smart PLS window. The results showed the external environment and internal environment affects the competitive advantage of IKM simultaneously.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v5i1.2330

Abstract

The importance of a management of the network in B2TE and optimize use of existing network devices. During this time, the network system that is running can’t be managed properly. There are still problems, especially related to topology, traffic network system, bandwidth, access rights, and the login process. On the basis of these, carried out an analysis and implementation of development using Network Development Live Cycle (NDLC) with activity analysis, design, prototype simulation, implementation, monitoring, and management. Development method is applied to solve problems that occur. Data collection methods used are the methods of observation and interviews with the B2TE and do a similar study. To resolve issues related to topology, topology implemented using the router board. For traffic network system, load balancing system implemented by the method of Per Connection Classifier (PCC). Queue tree with Hierarcial Token Bucket (HTB) method and Per Connection Queue (PCQ) and hotspot system is applied to solve problems related to bandwidth and permissions. Single sign-on system (SSO) with Open LDAP and RADIUS functioned to minimize the use of username and password during the login process. From the test results of the implemented system, the selection router board it is appropriate to handle the problem topology. Load balancing with the PCC method, queue tree with HTB and PCQ methods and systems hotspot capable of answering traffic problems on the issue of network systems, bandwidth, and permissions. While the system SSO is capable of handling problems login process. For further development, it is expected that the system has been running for bandwidth management rule can be added to separate the local and international bandwidth. Then, for security, made ​​the policy in terms of access to the IP address and port. In terms of permissions, can be applied to the scheduling of access to certain sites. Abstract

Determine Factor of Managerial Performance: Study at State University in JakartaThis study aims to analyse the influence of budget participation and role conflict on managerial performance, how professional orientation can moderate the relationship of budget participation and role conflict on managerial performance. This study has selected 66 lecturers from three universities (UI, UNJ dan UIN Jakarta). The data collected were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The research has resulted in the following conclusions: The budget participation does not affect the performance of managerial, The professional orientation functions as moderating variables (pure moderator) to strengthen the relationship between budgetary participation on managerial performance, The role conflict is influential on managerial performance and the professional orientation functions as moderating variables (quasi-moderator) so as to strengthen the relationship between role conflict and managerial performance.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v7i2.4916

Abstract

This research measures the efficiency and effectiveness of the dissolution of cooperatives conducted online. To see the efficiency and effectiveness of using cooperative dissolution performance variables, utilization of online services, performance in online services and interest in utilizing online services for cooperatives in cooperative dissolution activities. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis by looking at the percentage of answers from respondents. The object of this research is cooperatives that are listed as cooperatives which are dissolved in the area of East Java Province and Yogyakarta Special Region as regions that have many cooperative dissolutions. The results showed that the performance of the dissolution of cooperatives in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and East Java Province was an average of 3.53 in the predicate of moderate capacity. Utilization of online services is quite high. The performance of online services obtained the average results of respondents' answers of 4.09 are in the predicate of high capacity. Interest in the need for cooperative online services as an alternative to cooperative dissolution systems in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and East Java Province is high.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of auditor reputation, corporate governance mechanism (independent commissioner managerial ownership, institutional ownership) to integrity  of financial statement at  the  manufacturer  companies  in  Indonesia.  Integrity  of  financial  statement define as how far a financial statement disclosure shows truth and honest information. Independent variables used in this study were reputation auditor and corporate governance  mechanism  was  analyzed  by  independent  commissioner managerial ownership, institutional ownership. Dependent variable used in this study is integrity of financial statement was analyzed by conservatism. Study’s  sample was  manufacturer  companies  listed  in  Indonesia  Stock Exchange (IDX) period among 2008-2010. Data was collected by purposive sampling  method.  Total  56  manufacturer  companies  were  taken  as  study’s sample. The method of analysis of this research used multiple regression. The   results   of   this   research   showed   that   reputation   auditor   and independent   commissioner   had   significant   effect   to   integrity   of   financial statement. Meanwhile, Institutional ownership and managerial ownership had not significant effect to integrity of financial statementDOI: 10.15408/ess.v4i3.2431
