The philosophy of history has a crucial role to play in understanding not only "what happened," but also "why and where" the direction of historical development. One of the figures who made significant contributions to the thought of historical philosophy in Indonesia was Tan Malaka. Tan Malaka presents a perspective on historical dynamics based on historical materialism, class struggle, and socialist vision. This research aims to analyses Tan Malaka's historical philosophical views systematically, especially related to the concept of direction of historical movement, the actors involved, and the purpose of the direction of the movement of history. The research method used in this study is a historical method with a qualitative approach, utilizing historical sources, such as Madilog, Naar de Republiek Indonesia, Aksi Massa, and others. Tan Malaka developed a philosophy of history based on dialectical materialism adapted to the conditions of the colonized society, emphasizing the importance of class conflicts, the power of the masses, and revolution as the main drivers of history. The concept of "100% independence" is at the core of his thinking which demands comprehensive political, economic, and cultural independence. His analysis of the internal contradictions of colonialism, the role of the inferior priayi, and the criticism of the incomplete revolution provides a critical perspective in understanding the history of Indonesia and contemporary issues that must be faced.

This article aims to describe the representation of the issue of moving the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) through President Jokowi's speech, using an eco-critical discourse analysis approach based on Fairclough's three-dimensional model related to knowledge, beliefs, arts, morals, laws, customs, and other abilities acquired by a person as a society, threatening conditions and damage to the natural life of plants, animals, and humans. Data were collected from transcripts of Jokowi's speeches from 2019 to 2023, which circulated on social media and YouTube and had the most views and ratings. The analysis results show that Jokowi's speech represents the IKN as a project of renewal, equitable development, transformation of work culture, and ecology-based innovation. As well as how the use of language in the president's speech shapes public perceptions regarding ecological and social issues in the IKN relocation. The representation of this issue reflects Fairclough's dimensions (social practices, textual practices, discursive practices), so it is relevant to the global focus because it has a greater and more profound influence on many parties than social factors, language and cultural factors in Indonesia.

Ethical reasoning must traverse national and epistemic boundaries in an era of transboundary pandemic s and planetary crises. This article assesses Peter Singer's Ethics in the Real World, a collection of eighty-two essays articulating a stringent utilitarian call to minimize suffering through impartial and cost-effective intervention. Drawing on the cosmopolitan frameworks of Appiah, Nussbaum, and Sen, the review explores Singer's four thematic clusters—animal ethics, effective altruism, bioethics, and climate responsibility—while critiquing their translatability into the cultural and institutional landscapes of the Global South. Case studies from Indonesia, Rwanda, and Kenya demonstrate how communitarian reciprocity, religious obligation, and postcolonial memory complicate universalist prescriptions. Framed within normative international ethics, the article engages Singer's proposals as moral philosophy and implicit theory of cross-border responsibility. It further suggests two forward-looking strategies: embedding participatory deliberation in ethical policy frameworks and integrating comparative ethics into administrative training. Ultimately, the article contributes to interdisciplinary debates at the intersection of philosophy, development ethics, international relations, and public governance—where universal principles must be continually renegotiated through plural voices in shared reasoning.

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) method in improving the effective reading skills of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students in understanding scientific articles. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study involved 25 students in the fourth semester of PGSD at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University as subjects. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the SQ3R method is implemented according to the stages to understand scientific articles and has positive implications for improving effective reading skills, especially through the Survey and Question stages that build a focused and critical reading orientation. However, there are still obstacles at the Read, Recite, and Review stages related to the absorption and articulation of information orally. Students responded positively to this method, although pedagogical assistance was still needed to optimize its implementation, especially in strengthening academic communication.

In a learning process, quality is an absolute goal that must be achieved. Therefore, in the development of many models offered by several education experts, one of them is the integration of science and religion in the learning process with holistic-integralistic model. Islamic religious education learning must be able to change something that is still cognitive into something meaningful and valueable that must be internalized in students. Science and religion in the perspective of Islam have the same metaphysical basis, with the aim of revealed and attempted knowledge is to reveal the verses of God, the motivation behind the search for mathematical experience in an effort to know the verses of God in the universe. In the integration of Islamic religious education with science and technology, it is expected that the learning process conducted will be more meaningful and easily understood, so that the purpose of Islamic education in directing students to know, to understand, to appreciate, to believe, to be pious and noble in practicing the teachings of Islam from its main source, the holy book Al-Quran and Al-Hadith, through activities of teaching guidance, training, and the use of experience can be accomplished.

Ronald Dworkin's legal philosophy marked a paradigm shift from positivism, emphasizing law as a deep interpretive practice. The problem addressed is the lack of systematic exploration into the evolution of Dworkin's thought from early interpretivism to integrity and the unity of value as a single narrative. This study aims to trace how Dworkin's ideas developed and shaped each other. Through literature review and conceptual analysis of his major works, this research finds that Dworkin's early interpretivism, which focused on criticizing Hart and the role of principles in "hard cases," developed and influenced the formation of the theory of "Law as Integrity" by demanding principled coherence. Key stages in his evolution include the critique of positivism, the development of rights as trumps, the formulation of integrity as a legal virtue, and the introduction of the unity of value. Furthermore, the concept of "unity of value" strengthens the theories of integrity and interpretivism by providing a philosophical foundation that moral values are fundamentally coherent. In conclusion, Dworkin built an integrated philosophical architecture, asserting law as an ongoing moral project aimed at realizing justice and principled consistency.
