Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of online customer reviews and product knowledge on consumers’ purchase intention toward The Originote products on TikTok Shop. This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach, with a population of 2,950 female students at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. A total of 100 respondents were selected using a non-probability sampling technique and the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using IBM SPSS version 21. The analytical procedures included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results indicate that online customer reviews have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, with a t-value of 7.856 and a significance level of 0.000. Product knowledge also has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, with a t-value of 8.853 and a significance level of 0.000. Simultaneously, online customer reviews and product knowledge significantly affect purchase intention, as indicated by an F-value of 43.802 and a significance level of 0.000. The R Square value of 0.475 indicates that both variables explain 47.5% of the variance in purchase intention, while the remaining 52.5% is associated with other factors outside the research model. These findings confirm that the quality of online customer reviews and consumers’ product knowledge are important factors in shaping purchase intention within a social commerce environment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing use of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) and the importance of digital skills in supporting financial management in the digital era. The convenience of digital transactions needs to be accompanied by financial literacy in order to foster good financial behavior. This study aims to analyze the effect of QRIS usage and digital skills on financial behavior, with financial literacy as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 314 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that QRIS usage and digital skills have a positive and significant effect on both financial literacy and financial behavior. Furthermore, financial literacy is able to mediate the effects of QRIS usage and digital skills on financial behavior. These findings indicate that increased utilization of digital payment technology, supported by adequate digital skills and financial literacy, can encourage better financial behavior.

Abstract

University reputation is increasingly influenced by the behaviors and contributions of organizational members, making an understanding of the internal mechanisms underlying reputation formation essential. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on university reputation through organizational citizenship behavior and innovative work behavior. The study employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey of lecturers and educational staff at private universities in West Java, Indonesia. Data were collected through a digital questionnaire, yielding 128 valid responses. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling to assess the measurement model, structural model, and relationships among the variables. The findings show that organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior but does not significantly affect innovative work behavior. Organizational citizenship behavior has a positive and significant effect on both innovative work behavior and university reputation. Innovative work behavior also has a positive and significant effect on university reputation. The analysis of indirect effects demonstrates that organizational citizenship behavior mediates the relationship between organizational commitment and university reputation, whereas innovative work behavior does not mediate this relationship. These findings indicate that organizational commitment needs to be translated into extra-role behaviors to contribute to university reputation. This study highlights the importance of organizational behavior in university reputation formation and provides implications for human resource management in higher education institutions.
