Abstract

The majority of activities in the Multi Terminal Sub-Holding area, which has quite a large work space, involve heavy equipment which can be dangerous. In recent years, there has been a growth in ship operational activities including loading and unloading which has raised various concerns. In the field, there are still many dangers caused by the widespread loading and unloading operations of containers to other modes of transportation, transit of containers to and from holding points or warehouses, as well as ship operations such as berthing and ship docking. In addition, workers' ignorance of safety regulations and procedures, such as the use of personal protective equipment when working, increases the possibility of work accidents. Workers' ignorance of unsafe work positions (unsafe action). This research aims to reveal the K3 management system variables that influence unsafe activities in the Indonesian maritime industry, as well as the elements that influence operational risks, dangerous risks, and control strategies to reduce risks. A unified design with mixed methods was the research approach used. Purposive and snowball triangulation were used to collect qualitative data, while random sampling was used to collect numerical data. Review of empirical evidence regarding factors that influence operational risks that arise when SMK3 is implemented in the maritime industry. These factors include basic causal factors, indirect causal factors due to work and personal factors, as well as direct factors causing work accidents due to unsafe activities and unsafe conditions. carries a significant danger of ineffective and inefficient loading and unloading performance. Abstract

Coastal work areas are also undeniably at great risk of occupational accidents. However, fishermen usually do not equip and use personal protective equipment and safety equipment. This makes the work of fishermen quite risky. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential hazards of occupational safety and health in fishermen on the coast. This research is a literature review with data collection methods and uses literature studies. A literature study is conducted by searching for data from published articles or national journals related to the keywords of this research to be analyzed by accessing the database on Google Scholar, then the data is filtered again based on the title, abstract, and content that is in accordance with the research. The criteria for the selected articles are published 2020-2024, indexed by Google Scholar, indexed nationally and internationally, and indexed by students. Abstract

Fire preparedness involves knowledge of how to avoid the causes of fire, how to respond quickly and effectively if a fire occurs, and measures to minimize the impact of a fire. Raising awareness about fire is an important step towards protecting lives, property and the environment, and ensuring better preparedness for fire disasters. The purpose of the study was to examine what efforts are important to increase awareness of preparedness in dealing with fire disasters. From the results of the journal review, some important efforts to increase awareness of preparedness in dealing with fire disasters are understanding the surrounding risks, understanding the early warning system, knowing the evacuation route, having the skills to know the situation quickly, reducing the impact of hazards through mitigation efforts, and participating in emergency response preparedness training.

Abstract

Indonesia as one of the countries with a manufacturing industry sector that is experiencing rapid development. In Indonesia, there has been a very significant increase in work accidents, up by 55.2% from 2019 to 2020. The manufacturing industry has a very high contribution in work accidents in a company that does not implement procedures in accordance with standards. K3 aims to prevent, reduce, and even eliminate the risk of work accidents (zero accidents). This study uses the literature review method as a systematic method sourced from the 2020–2024 journal published on Google Scholar. The results of a review of articles conducted with several journals show that emergency preparedness in the occupational safety and health management system in the manufacturing industry shows that OSH Management is a very important aspect in the manufacturing industry. Several components in the emergency response system are divided into emergency response management, emergency facilities and infrastructure, and management in the manufacturing industry. An important aspect in the manufacturing industry. Emergency preparedness in OSH management involves risk understanding, emergency planning, employee training, and monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

Fire is a fire that cannot be controlled and can cause enormous material and emotional losses According to the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia Number 26 of 2008, fire hazard refers to the potential and degree of exposure to fire, smoke and gas. Fires are caused by the presence of three main elements: fuel, heat source, and oxygen. This is known as the fire triangle theory. A fire protection plan is an important document that contains detailed instructions on how to respond if a building fire occurs. Occupational safety and health protection is an important preventive measure to reduce the danger of fire this research aims to analyze the fire protection systems installed in workplaces and assess their effectiveness. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative Based on the results of several studies, although various companies' fire protection systems are implemented by applicable regulations and standards, aspects such as control of fire fighting equipment and emergency response intensity still need to be optimized. Simulation To reduce the risk of fire, it is important to ensure that the fire protection system complies with applicable regulations.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there were 130,923 work accidents, most of which occurred on construction projects. The source is data from the 2019 Ministry of Public Works and Spatial Planning Construction Development. One of the causes of accidents is non-compliance with the use of PPE. This research aims to determine and understand the factors associated with non-compliance with using PPE for construction workers. This research uses a literature review method using Google Scholar as an electronic data source. Journal publications starting from 2019-2023 are used with the keywords: compliance factors, PPE, and construction. Age, length of service, attitude and knowledge, motivation to work, compensation and punishment, and availability of PPE can influence construction worker compliance. In the use of PPE for employees, four factors relate to compliance: enablers, predispositions, drivers, and individuals. This is very important, so it is hoped that wider knowledge about the use of PPE will increase. Contractors must also supervise, communicate and ensure that PPE is available so that workers are more compliant in using it in the future and the level of work accidents can be reduced.

Abstract

The risk of K3 hazards in shipping is a problem that bothers fishermen, be it physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychological factors. The purpose of this research is to find out what K3 hazard risks exist on ships and are experienced by fishermen. This research method was carried out by analyzing 5 journals that were obtained in accordance with the criteria. The results of this review found that the risk of K3 hazards on boats and fishermen was decompression, fire, noise, punctures and cuts, and slippery floors.

Abstract

Desa Cibatu has significant natural resource potential but faces considerable challenges in maximizing local economic growth, particularly in leadership, management, and technology adaptation. This research focuses on interventions through leadership and information technology training to enhance local capacity. Activities include intensive training in strategic decision-making, financial management, digital marketing, business mentoring and consulting. The results show a significant improvement in leadership and business management skills and an understanding of technology use. Quantitatively, there was a 15% reduction in the unemployment rate and an average 10% increase in per capita income. These findings confirm that a comprehensive and collaborative approach to local capacity development can optimize the village's economic potential, reduce unemployment, and improve community welfare. Designed interventions must be adaptive and sustainable to provide significant long-term impacts.

Abstract

Creative Writing Mentoring through the Zoom Meeting platform on February 24, 2024, is a valuable initiative aimed at developing literary creativity among the kindergarten teachers of Aisyiyah in Sukabumi Regency. The activity was opened by the Chairperson of the Education Council of the Aisyiyah Women's Association (PDA) of Sukabumi Regency, Mrs. Sistiana Windyariani, M.Pd., and attended by 7 participants consisting of Aisyiyah kindergarten teachers. During the seminar and training session, Den Aslam introduced the basic concepts of creative writing and techniques to enhance creativity. Discussions were also held on writing techniques, including character development, plot, and effective language usage, accompanied by examples of prophetic-themed poetry. Participants were allowed to practice writing using these techniques for approximately 2 weeks. The low level of participant engagement in asking questions and the limited number of participants served as feedback for bettering future engagement activities. This activity is expected to significantly benefit participants in developing their creative writing skills and enhancing their appreciation for literature.

Abstract

Narcotics is an abbreviation for Narcotics, Psychotropics and other addictive substances. In 2023, drug users will show a prevalence rate of 1.73% or the equivalent of 3.3 million Indonesians aged 15-64 years. Some factors of drug abuse are the influence of parents, peers, knowledge, attitudes and beliefs. The aim of this research is to find out what social factors are related to drug abuse among teenagers in Pasir Permit Village. This type of research is qualitative based on socialization observations, discussions and questionnaires with 16 people filled in by teenagers from Pasir Permit village. The data shows that social factors influence family (13.3%), peer environment (40%), community environment (53.3%), mass media (6.7%) and living environment (13.3%) . The conclusion in this research is that community and peer relationships are very influential. So for teenagers, hanging out with peers who have positive behavior, and doing lots of positive activities will have a good impact on the future.
