Abstract

One of the districts in South Sulawesi Province which has a coastal area is Jeneponto Regency. For the people of Jeneponto, this coastal area is important not only because of its rich diversity but also because of its economic activities, including fishing, seaweed cultivation and recreation. However, currently coastal erosion in Jeneponto Regency is very serious. Natural systems will deteriorate if prevention of sea water erosion is not implemented, altering coastlines in the process. The aim of this research is to evaluate the design of beach safety buildings that will be used at Tamarunang Beach and look for alternative countermeasures that will be built. The analysis process involves selecting replacement coastal protection structures and design calculations. Sea walls or hexagonal concrete supports are the treatment with the most points according to the matrix used in this research to select alternative coastal safety construction. However, when choosing beach treatment, you need to consider the various conditions along Tamarunang beach. In terms of community willingness, as long as security measures do not hinder the flow of boats carrying fishermen and seaweed farmers, then the community may be given protection along the Tamarunang coast. Based on the research results, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1. The height of the sea wall is 2.44 meters; 2. The stone used for the sea wall weighs 27 kg; and 3. The diameter of the stone is 27 cm.

Abstract

This research was conducted on Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro, Limba B Village, South Kota District. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of side obstacles on the characteristics of traffic flow on Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro, Limba B Village, South Kota District. Based on vehicle data, the maximum traffic volume occurred on Monday at 15.00 – 16.00 WITA, 508.5 pcu/hour, and capacity was 1996,198 pcu/hour. This shows that the capacity is still greater than the maximum traffic volume that occurs. Based on the calculation results of the capacity value (C = 1996,198 pcu/hour) the ability to accommodate the flow or volume of traffic on the Jl. Prince Diponegoro is still included in category C, where the flow conditions are stable, the traffic speed is approximately greater or less than 65 km/hour, the traffic volume is around 50% of capacity (1400 pcu/hour/lane). Traffic conditions, factors which include side obstructions from the road, including the number of vehicles waiting for passengers to stop on the road, and the presence of vehicles standing or parking on the shoulder of the road which can cause congestion.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the demand and availability of water in Tulo'a village, North Bulango sub-district, Bone Bolango Regency. This study uses secondary data in the form of daily rainfall for 5 years from 1 rain station. The method used for water availability uses the empirical equation from Ffolliot and for the projected water needs of the population, namely the Geometric, Arithmetic, Exponential Method. Based on the results of the analysis of the amount of water availability in 2030, it is 6,008,933.70 m3/year and the demand for clean water is 1,576,289.00m3/year so that it can be said that it is still in the water surplus category.

Abstract

Environmental problem commonly found in the urban area is the poor waste management. This research aimed to investigate the conditions of the waste management on Gorontalo City and the solution of its problems, so that it could be made as inputs for the Government in selecting the services for the waste management was more efficient and effective. The research method used approach which was normative descriptive and comparative descriptive. The descriptive approach was a research with the pattern of illustrating what existing in the field and tried to illustrate the data. The descriptive normative approach was condusted to evaluate the method of the waste management in Gorontalo City through the evaluation of the standard (normative) and existing theory. In order to achieve this target, the primary data which were obtained from the survey and interviews conducted in the fields were needed. The research results indicated that the amount produced in Gorontalo City was to 539.92 tons/day. Therefore, the need for the facilities and infrastructures for the waste/structured were 4 ritase of Dump Trucks, 4 ritase Arm Roll Trucks, 487 units of trash bins, 23 units of TPS containers, 3 units of TPST, 54 units of garbage collective carts, 4 units of Dump Trucks, 6 units of Arm Roll Trucks, and ​​29.71 Ha of TPS area. As for the aspect of waste management activities/unstructured, the public, the public participation in dealing with the generated wastes and the potentially recycled wastes, and the regulations were still categorized as having the bad value. The distance between the waste sourcces and the TPS was still evaluated as not good. The calculation revealed the evaluation result of the waste management in Gorontalo City had not met the expected standard (not good) consequently, the result of the waste management had not been maximum.

Abstract

The development of life every year, every day always experiences changes both in terms of technology, needs and desires. From the point of view of needs, many young people, especially women, are now trending about body beauty to avoid wrinkles, dry skin and stay young. To fulfill their desires, alternatives are needed for their needs, one of the alternatives to this problem is to undergo therapy at a spa. It is necessary to pay attention to a comfortable and safe place to carry out therapy. One of the comforts of the therapy place is the color combination of the place. With the right combination of colors in the room, visitors will feel comfortable and can pamper their eyes so they can achieve good relaxation.

Abstract

Desa Karya baru merupakan desa yang berada di kecamatan Dengilo Kabupaten Pohuwato provinsi Gorontalo memiliki luas lahan 18.874 hektar. Data penduduk Desa Karya Baru pada tahun 2017 penduduk desa berjumlah 1.151 jiwa. Kemudian pada tahun 2021 jumlah penduduk meningkat menjadi 1.168 jiwa. Seiring berjalannnya waktu Desa Karya Baru mengalami perkembangan pada fasilitas publik berupa, listrik dan jaringan, bangunan, jalan dan jembatan serta drainase. Perkembangan tidak hanya bermakna kemajuan tetapi juga kemunduran (Dr. Masganti Sit, 2015). Perkembangan mencakup hal-hal yang bersifat kualitatif dan kuantitatif Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bentuk morfologi permukiman di desa karya baru. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dari hasil penelitian deskripsi kualitatif kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Tisseu Analysis untuk menemukan perubahan morfologi yang ada di Desa Karya Baru. Dari penelitian di dapatkan beberapa perubahan morfologi di Desa Karya Baru terjadi pada bangunan rumah tinggal, fasilitas jalan dan jembatan, dan bangunan Pendidikan.

Abstract

Concrete mixtures are usually made with drinking water or pure water. However, if we are in a difficult condition to get clean water, we must try to use additional materials or waste around us. This is also a difficulty in the construction industry; one of the challenges is how to develop new ideas, such as high-quality and durable concrete (sustainability), from existing materials, such as coconut water. The data collection strategy for this study is laboratory-based. Given that the variables studied in this study include the composition of coconut water used to determine the quality of the concrete mixture, its compressive strength, and its comparison with ordinary water. The compressive strength of self-compacting concrete (SCC) made with 100% coconut water varies. The average compressive strength of SCC concrete with 100% coconut water is 41 kg/cm2 after 3 days, 88.67 kg/cm2 after 7 days, 242.67 kg/cm2 after 14 days, and 364 kg/cm2 after 21 and 28 days. 550.67 kg/cm2. The results of the normal compressive strength test showed growth; the average compressive strength was 284 kg/cm2 at 3 days, 511 kg/cm2 at 7 days, and 1386 kg/cm2 at 14 days. 21 days = 2226; 28 days equals 3098.67.

Abstract

This research is to determine the level of thermal comfort based on occupant perception, microclimate and is associated with architectural engineering in human adaptation to urban heat island (UHI). One of the problems in cities is the increase in earth temperature caused by climate change and vertical obstruction. The impact of climate change and vertical obstruction will affect the level of human comfort in their environment. Thermal comfort is an absolute need for the human body, and with its ability, humans also create a built environment to fulfill their comfort both outside and inside a building. This research takes a case study at The Lavande Residence Apartment, which is a residence in the central area of ​​Jakarta. This research uses a descriptive analysis method from data obtained primarily through direct observation and interviews and several other secondary data. The research results show that the suitability of the comfort level based on climate simulations and the comfort calculator is at a neutral level and compared with the perception of residents who still feel comfortable. This perception of thermal comfort after being analyzed is due to architectural engineering efforts carried out by humans in the context of adaptation to climate change.

Abstract

Analysis of the Implementation of Micro Tariffs for Inter-City Transport on the Gorontalo Paguat City Route. The aim of this research was to overcome the existence of micro drivers who charge their own transportation rates which are not in accordance with the provisions of established regulations. With the data collection method, interviews or in the context of this research, they are called informants. In this data source, the informants include the drivers, the Head of the Talaga Terminal Coordinator, Gorotalo City and the community, place, namely the data source obtained from a description of the situation and conditions related to the problem being discussed, Paper, namely the data source that presents signs in the form of letters. , numbers, images, or symbols. Based on the district regulation. Gorontalo number 28 of 2013 concerning adjustments to passenger transportation rates between cities, sub-districts and rural areas for economy class, namely Rp. 437.46,- /km/pnp. Based on these regulations, the Gorontalo-Paguat route is approximately 145km, namely Rp. 63,431,- or around Rp. 63,500,-. Meanwhile, the fare applied by micro drivers is Rp. 75,000. This is due to the large deposits made to the PO which covers the drivers, as well as the increasingly high cost of living necessities, therefore the government needs to review the determination of micro tariffs for public transport on the Gorontalo-Paguat route.

Abstract

Review of Pavement Thickness on Marisa Motolohu IV Road Section, Pohuwato Regency Marisa – Motolohu IV Road is a collector road which is a very useful transportation in the community and a road to agropolitan access in Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province. In improving the road, adequate studies are needed to achieve optimal benefits. Road pavement thickness planning uses the SNI/AASHTO 93 method. Traffic enumeration surveys are carried out on road sections located in the study area. Subgrade research to find representative CBR values. In this planning stage, the criteria considered in this planning are traffic volume, time limits, traffic loads, reliability, environmental conditions, road performance criteria, drainage factors. Field conditions (existing) on ​​the Marisa – Motolohu IV section are (D1) 5.0 cm, base layer (D2) 10.0 cm, subbase layer (D3) 15 cm. The results of the study obtained the thickness of each pavement, namely: surface layer (D1) 8.0 cm, upper foundation layer (D2) 13 cm, lower foundation layer (D3) 19 cm. This study can be used as a comparison in previous planning using different methods.
