Journal of Agriculture and Social Development (Jasodev) is published by Research and Social Study Institute (RESSI) twice a year in March and September. This journal is an academic, citation indexed, and blind peer-reviewed journal. It covers original research articles, short notes and communications, reviews (including book), concepts, commentaries, and letters on a diverse topic related to agriculture and social development including crop science, agronomy, agribusiness, forestry, fishery/marine, agricultural technology, animal sciences, economics, social sciences, and development studies. The aims of this journal are to provide a venue for academicians, researchers, and practitioners to share/discuss theories, views, research results, on issues related to the science, engineering and technology, and humanities in agriculture development, management, and issues in social development, particularly in the tropics. However, any other articles related to agriculture and development studies are also welcome.

Abstract

Group dynamics is a method that aims to increase the value of group cooperation. BUMDes performance is the result or work performance and how the work process takes place. This study aims to determine the dynamics of the group at BUMDes Mandiri Bersatu and the relationship between group dynamics on the performance of BUMDes Mandiri Bersatu in Pekon Gisting Bawah, Gisting District, Tanggamus Regency. This study used the census method. The research location was chosen deliberately with the consideration of having the largest equity participation of 450,000,000 or 43.9% of the total equity participation of BUMDes in Gisting District. The research was conducted in November 2022. The group dynamics that occurred in Mandiri Bersatu BUMDes were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and the relationship of group dynamics to BUMDes performance was analyzed using non-parametric statistics with the Rank Spearman correlation test. The results showed that of the nine elements of group dynamics in the Mandiri Bersatu BUMDes, only group structure and hidden intentions had a moderate category, while the other seven variables had a high category. Group dynamics variables that have a close relationship with the performance of the Mandiri Bersatu BUMDes are group goals, group cohesiveness, and group effectiveness.

Abstract

Stakeholders have a very important role in managing pomelo citrus commodities. Thus, an understanding of the existence and role of multi-stakeholders is needed in realizing sustainable management of agricultural resources. This study aims to identify, categorize and investigate the relationship between stakeholders in the development of pomelo citrus agribusiness in Pangkep Regency. Data collection was carried out using the snowball sampling method and then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of the study show that there are three groups, namely primary, key, and secondary (supporting) stakeholders. Stakeholders as subjects are farmers, farmer groups, Gapoktan (group of farmer groups), pomelo orange farmer associations, and pomelo orange processing household industries. Stakeholders as key players, Department of Food Crops and Livestock, PPL (agricultural extension agency), Traders. Stakeholders as context setters for Bappeda Pangkep Regency, and stakeholders as crowds are sub-district heads, village heads, universities/research institutions. The relationship that occurs between stakeholders is a cooperative relationship, a complementary relationship, and a relationship that has the potential for conflict. Pemangku kepentingan (stakeholder) memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam implementasi pengelolaan komoditi jeruk pamelo. Dengan demikian, pemahaman akan keberadaan dan peranan multipihak diperlukan dalam mewujudkan pengelolaan sumberdaya pertanian yang berkelanjutan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi, membuat kategori dan menyelidiki hubungan antara pemangku kepentingan dalam pengembangan agribisnis jeruk pamelo di Kabupaten Pangkep.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode snowball sampling untuk kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga kelompok yaitu stakeholder primer, kunci dan sekunder (pendukung). Stakeholder sebagai subject adalah Petani, Kelompok tani, Gapoktan, Assosiasi petani jeruk pamelo, Indutri Rumah tangga pengolah jeruk pamelo. Stakeholder sebagai key player, Dinas Tanaman Pangan dan Peternakan, PPL, Pedagang. Stakeholder sebagai context setter Bappeda Kabupaten Pangkep,dan Stakeholder sebagai crowd adalah Camat, Kepala Desa, Perguruan tinggi/lembaga penelitian. Hubungan yang terjadi di antara para stakeholder adalah hubungan kerja sama, hubungan saling mengisi dan hubungan yang berpotensi konflik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the corn farmer adaptation to climate change, the level of production and household income of corn farmers, and the welfare of corn farmers in the subdistrict of Penengahan. The research was conducted in the District of Mediation, South Lampung regency in November to December 2018 using a survey method. The data used in the primary and secondary data.The samples in this study of 53 respondents were selected randomly (simple random sampling). Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and farm income of farmers. The results showed that corn growers have learned and conducting repairs maize cultivation technic for adaptation to change, the revenue contribution of 86.69 percent corn growers derived from corn farming. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis adaptasi petani jagung terhadap perubahan iklim, tingkat produksi dan pendapatan rumah tangga petani jagung, serta kesejahteraan petani jagung di Kecamatan Penengahan. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Mediasi Kabupaten Lampung Selatan pada bulan November sampai Desember 2018 dengan menggunakan metode survei. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 53 responden yang dipilih secara acak (simple random sampling). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan pendapatan usahatani petani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petani jagung telah mempelajari dan melakukan perbaikan teknik budidaya jagung untuk adaptasi terhadap perubahan, kontribusi pendapatan petani jagung sebesar 86,69 persen berasal dari usahatani jagung.

Abstract

African catfish (Clarias gariepinus.) is a freshwater fish that has been widely cultivated in Indonesia. The budikdamber system (fish farming in buckets) is a system that uses buckets as a container for fish cultivation as an alternative to growing plants and raising fish in one container. This study aims to determine the effect of the frequency of artificial feeding on the growth and survival of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) Budikdamber system. The design used in the study was a completely randomized design (CRD), with three treatments and three replications, namely treatment A (feeding 3 times a day), treatment B (feeding 4 times a day) and treatment C (feeding 5 times a day). Parameters measured included survival, absolute weight growth, feed conversion and water quality. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), if there was a treatment effect it was continued with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. The results showed that there was a significant effect on absolute weight growth but no significant effect on survival rate and feed conversion. The best feeding time for each treatment for survival was treatment B of 91.00%, absolute weight growth in treatment C was 31.18g and feed conversion from water quality measurement results during the study was still in the proper range for catfish farming. Ikan lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus) adalah salah satu ikan air tawar yang sudah banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Sistem budikdamber (budidaya ikan dalam ember) adalah sistem yang menggunakan ember sebagai wadah budidaya ikan sebagai alternatif menanam tanaman dan memelihara ikan dalam satu wadah.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh frekuensi pemberian pakan buatan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan lele (Clarias gariepinus) sistem budikdamber. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan tiga perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, yakni perlakuan A (Pemberian pakan 3 kali sehari), perlakuan B (Pemberian pakan 4 kali sehari) dan perlakuan C (Pemberian pakan 5 kali sehari). Parameter yang diukur meliputi kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan berat mutlak, konversi pakan dan kualitas air. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Variansi (ANOVA), jika terdapat pengaruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan berat mutlak tetapi tidak ada pengaruh nyata pada tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan konversi pakan. Waktu pemberian pakan yang terbaik untuk masing-masing perlakuan pada kelangsungan hidup adalah perlakuan B sebesar 91,00%, pertumbuhan berat mutlak pada perlakuan C 31,18g dan Konversi pakan hasil pengukuran kualitas air selama penelitian masih berada pada kisaran yang layak untuk budidaya ikan lele.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that influence the level of consumer satisfaction with Minarko Padang noodles. A total of 100 respondents were part of this study, using a purposive sampling method which considered respondents who were at least 18 years old, lived in the city of Padang, and had bought Minarko noodles at least 2 times in the last 6 months. The analysis was performed using the Multiple Linear Regression method. The results showed that product quality, price, and promotion variables had a positive influence on consumer satisfaction. However, the packaging variable does not have a positive influence on consumer satisfaction. Of all the variables studied, price is the variable that has the most influence on consumer satisfaction. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap mie Minarko Padang. Sebanyak 100 responden menjadi bagian dari penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling yang mempertimbangkan responden yang berusia minimal 18 tahun, tinggal di kota Padang, dan telah membeli mie Minarko minimal 2 kali dalam 6 bulan terakhir. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kualitas produk, harga, dan promosi memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Namun, variabel kemasan tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Dari semua variabel yang diteliti, harga adalah variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen.

Abstract

Traditional drink is one of the herbal drinks with various kinds of benefits for the body and is one of the results of local wisdom which has been maintained for a long time by the people of Indonesia. As is the case with the Kebonagung drink, a traditional drink originating from the Regency/City of Pasuruan, East Java. The main ingredient for making Kebonagung drink is cane sugar. Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni is an herbal plant belonging to the Asteraceae family, which is used as a non-caloric natural sweetener. The leaves contain stevioside and rebaudioside. Both have blood pressure-lowering and antipyperlicemic potential. Stevia is a natural sweetener alternative. However, in Indonesia, the stevia plant has not shown an important role as a sweetener source. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding liquid stevia to traditional drinks on consumer preferences. This research method used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5% & 1% BNJ Follow-up Test which consisted of 4 treatments namely F1 (0.5%), F2 (1.0%), F3 (1.5%), F4 (2.0%). The results of the research from organoleptic (sensory) test data showed that samples treated with F3 (1.5% stevia concentration) had the most favorable level of preference for aroma (3.63), color (2.17), taste (2.08) ) and aftertaste (2,13).
