Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the fluctuating load factor on the efficiency and loss of life of the 6kV/70kV transformer and to determine the optimal load in order to obtain the best efficiency and minimize loss of life. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The results showed that the highest efficiency of PLTU Unit 1 was at 93.3% with an output power of 5.8 MW and an input power of 6.21 MW, while the lowest was at 83.9% with an output power of 5.5 MW and a power 6.55 MW input. The highest efficiency of PLTU Unit 2 is at 95.7% with an output power of 5.5 MW and an input power of 5.75 MW, while the lowest is at 61.03% with an output power of 3.3 MW and an input power of 5.41. MW. Meanwhile, the transformer life for Unit 1 PLTU Sumbawa Barat is 0.0469 hours/day with an average load of 5.8 MW, while for Unit 2 it is 0.0311 hours/day with an average load of 5.2 MW. The size of the loss of life of the transformer depends on the given load, the greater the load, the greater the loss of life. In this case, the load for Unit 1 is higher than for Unit 2, so it can be seen that the life loss of the Unit 2 transformer is smaller. While the optimal load on the PLTU is in the position of 80-85% of its capacity. The results of this study are expected to be a material consideration for the Sumbawa power plant to better distribute and optimize the load so that there is no imbalance between the transformer capacity and the power produced and perform routine transformer maintenance to reduce losses that occur.

Abstract

Energy electricity drier Now become need tree for human. Supply energy standard electricity _ And each other related is strict conditions _ And must fulfil achievement objective development. University Sumbawa Technology (UTS) as Wrong One consumer energy electricity presumably need energy audit _ For save cost usage electricity, wrong one in the building Orange and Building Behind Orange (GBO). To know is consumption electricity Already fulfil level efficient or no, then from That need exists analysis opportunity to save electricity through energy audits. From the results obtained through the methods of measurement, processing, analysis and observation, the energy consumption intensity values (IKE) of the Orange Building and the Orange Rear Building in general are . With the IKE value for air-conditioned rooms, the average value is 7.07660456 kWh/m 2 / month and for non-AC rooms, the average value is 6.860981861 kWh / m 2 / month. Broadly speaking, from the rooms in the Orange Building and the Orange Back Building, it can be concluded that the categories are very efficient to efficient, but several rooms are still categorized as wasteful, namely the GO 2 room with an IKE value of 18.992 kWh/m 2 / month, and canteen room 20.73059361 kWh/m 2 / month. Until it is necessary to carry out savings opportunities. For rooms that are categorized as wasteful, it can be concluded that energy saving opportunities can be carried out by: Reducing power consumption operations, such as power consumption and hours of use.

Abstract

The Electronics Laboratory of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Sumbawa University of Technology has various kinds of electronic equipment or components which are used as learning materials for practical work, one of which is the Oska type Switching Power Supply which contains various types of basic electronic components which are often used. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of electronic components in the Oska-type Switching Power Supply using the Visual Inspection method which aims to check and determine the physical condition of electronic components that are still suitable for use as well as using a digital multimeter as a tool to test the suitability of the reference values ??for each electronic component as well as determining components whose physical condition is still good or feasible but in testing the component reference values ??do not match. This research succeeded in analyzing electronic components such as resistors which experienced shrinkage of 48%, capacitors of 40%, and Phototransistor sensors on Optocouplers did not work so these components were not suitable for use, while other components such as Diodes, Integrated Circuits, Light Emitting Diodes, Transistors, and High-Frequency Transformers can still be used.

Abstract

Cost and time are important variables in a construction project. Significant cost and time deviations can indicate poor project management, so there is a need for evaluation and control regarding this matter. In this research, researchers evaluated costs and time using the Earned Value Concept method. Performance evaluation of time and cost was carried out using Microsoft Project. Cost performance using the Earned Value Method means that there is a cost overrun of IDR 1,206,432.85 from the total construction budget plan (overbudget). This is shown by the EAC (Estimate to Complete) value of IDR 11,536,477,946.05 which is greater than the BAC (Budgeted All Construction) value of IDR 11,535,271,513. Performance when using the Earned Value Method has SV values ??in the July-October period showing positive values, namely IDR 175,140,527.07, IDR 175,138,345.20, IDR 175,140,527.07, IDR 32,838,848.83, this value shows that the project was realized faster than planned. Performance based on the schedule productivity index (SPI) in the July period has a value of 1.037894631, August has a value of 1.02648206, September has a value of 1.019104588, and October has a value of 1.002926831. This SPI value shows >1, meaning that the realized work productivity is carried out faster than the planned schedule.

Abstract

Currently, many hydroponic plants are still provided with nutrition manually. Therefore, a device was created that is capable of providing nutrition automatically using a dosing pump and Arduino Uno R3. This research aims to find out how to add nutrient solutions automatically. The method used is an experimental method which includes: the tool design stage, testing stage, and data collection stage. To design the tool, all components are assembled into one with Arduino Uno. The results of the dosing pump test with a time variation of 1-30 seconds produced an increasing amount of nutrient solution and the amount of nutrient for each increase in time was around 0.3-0.4 ml. This tool will turn on if the input value is >2.7 and the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) used is 255. It is hoped that this tool will be useful for the community as a reference when cultivating organic plants in the future.
