Menara Tebuireng (Jurnal Studi Islam) adalah publikasi ilmiah yang berusaha memfasilitasi artikel akademis dan tulisan ilmiah dari sejumlah studi penelitian empiris dalam bidang Studi Islam. Menara Tebuireng terbuka bagi akademisi, mahasiswa, peneliti, dan praktisi yang berminat untuk berkontribusi dengan pemikiran mereka, terutama dalam bidang Studi Islam. Fokus utama jurnal Menara Tebuireng adalah pada eksplorasi hukum Islam, dinamika penyebaran dakwah dalam penyebaran Islam, studi ilmu sosial, Pendidikan Islam, dan pengembangan pengetahuan Islam kontemporer dalam ranah teoretis maupun praktis, khususnya dalam lingkup lokal, nasional, dan global. Abstract

This research, titled Cultural Curriculum Based on Nusantara Islamic Tradition at Pondok Pesantren Putra Miftahul Mubtadiin Ar Ridlo Krempyang Tanjunganom Nganjuk, aims to explore the implementation of a curriculum based on Nusantara Islamic traditions in the educational process at Pondok Pesantren Putra Miftahul Mubtadiin Ar Ridlo. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to understand how this curriculum is applied and how local cultural values are integrated into the learning process. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the pesantren leaders, teachers, and students, as well as documentation. The findings show that this cultural curriculum serves as an important tool in shaping students' character, instilling nationalism, independence, love for the homeland, and appreciation for Nusantara Islamic traditions. The implementation of this curriculum also aligns with the spirit of religious moderation promoted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Thus, this pesantren not only serves as a center for religious education but also as a place for the preservation and development of Nusantara Islamic traditions that are relevant to the social and cultural context of Indonesia

Abstract

Optimizing services is very important in developing superior school programs. One of them is a superior program in the field of Islamic religious education. This superior program is able to improve learning outcomes for students. The aims of this research are, 1) To analyze how PAI's superior program services are managed in learning at SDN Nglawak 1, Kertosono Nganjuk District., 2) To analyze PAI's superior program for learning at SDN Nglawak 1, Kertosono Nganjuk District., 3) To analyze improvements PAI's flagship program in learning at SDN Nglawak 1, Kertosono Nganjuk District. Meanwhile, the type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a research approach in the form of a case study research approach at SDN Nglawak 1, Kertosono Nganjuk District. The results of this research are, First, In the process of optimizing the management of program services, SDN Nglawak 1 Kertosono divides the responsibility for implementation into three areas, namely: the curriculum sector, the student sector and the infrastructure sector. Each deputy head is responsible for implementing the program. The curriculum at SDN Nglawak 1 Kertosono is a combination of the government curriculum and the Islamic boarding school curriculum. The superior programs that are being promoted are 1) dhuha prayers in congregation (SHOIDHUBER), 2) muroja'ah every Friday together (MUJUMBER), 3) Friday giving and sharing, 4) learning to read Asmaul Husna and memorizing juz every time 30, 5) start and finish learning to read sholawat busyro, thibil qulub and others. Obstacles in implementation arise including the diversity of students with different social backgrounds. The principal of SDN Nglawak 1 Kertosono always carries out evaluations consisting of evaluating program implementation and evaluating program achievements. Evaluation of program implementation is carried out by holding regular meetings between school leaders and the teacher council, as well as by asking for feedback from student parents. Evaluation of program achievements is carried out through learning results tests and observations of student behavior and attitudes. Second, school services that are encouraged to support the success of school programs are identifying target audiences and introducing superior programs. Schools can determine what media will be used for messages to be conveyed to the target audience. Meanwhile, the superior programs offered by schools use integration between the Islamic boarding school curriculum and the national curriculum

Abstract

Local content in an education unit is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the objectives, content and learning materials prepared by the education unit by considering the surrounding potential so that the vision and mission of the education unit can be achieved. So in this case, an education unit is required to plan, organize, carry out matters related to local content and evaluate so that the achievement of learning can be maximized. Through the learning of local content of work skills, it is expected that students not only gain global academic knowledge, but also have concern for the social and cultural values that exist around them. In addition, the purpose of this learning is to equip the generation with life skills, so that students can adapt to society and compete in the world of work.   This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which aims to describe, explain, and reveal the results regarding the management of new student admissions. The data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The techniques used are 1) observation 2) triangulation and 3) data checking. The results of research by researchers related to the application of work skills-based local content curriculum at MA Al - Ihsan Kalikejambon Tembelang Jombang are: 1) Planning local content curriculum work skills in accordance with the vision, mission, and objectives of the madrasah. 2) Curriculum organization which begins with curriculum mapping, schedule preparation based on the academic calendar, division of teaching duties, and arrangement of teaching hours through the selection process. 3) Implementation of the curriculum for the work skills program at MA Al-Ihsan emphasizes more on direct practical activities after the delivery of material. 4) Curriculum evaluation activities include evaluation of students and educators.

Abstract

This article examines the relationship between gender existence and women's roles in power politics through Surah An-Nahl verse 97. The verse affirms equal reward for righteous deeds regardless of gender, offering a theological basis for gender equality. Traditional interpretations often emphasize complementary roles between men and women, which sometimes restrict women's participation in politics. In contrast, contemporary scholars argue for an egalitarian reading, supporting women's active involvement in leadership and decision-making. The study reviews historical examples of women's participation in early Islamic societies and compares them to contemporary developments, particularly highlighting progress in the MENA region and South Asia. Case studies from Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Kyrgyzstan show how Muslim women leaders navigate religious, cultural, and political challenges. The article also discusses the role of Islamic feminism in reinterpreting religious texts to advocate for women's political rights and leadership. Islamic feminist scholarship challenges patriarchal readings and promotes a more inclusive understanding of Islam that supports women’s empowerment. Overall, the study asserts that Surah An-Nahl verse 97 can be a strong foundation for supporting women's equal participation in politics and public life, encouraging a more just and equitable society

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of constitutional law in the formation of state policy, with a focus on the application of values ​​contained in the Qur'an. This study examines how the principles of the Qur'an, such as amanah, justice, and deliberation, can be integrated into the framework of modern constitutional law to create public policies that are fair and beneficial to society. The principle of amanah teaches that power must be used with full responsibility and trust from the people, while the principle of justice demands policies that serve all levels of society equally and without discrimination. In addition, the application of deliberation, as taught in QS. Ash-Shura: 38, reinforces the importance of people's participation in the decision-making process. This article also highlights the challenges in implementing these principles, such as political pressure and conflicts of interest, as well as the importance of maintaining integrity and transparency in public policy. By integrating the values ​​of the Qur'an, it is hoped that leaders can make policies that are not only legally valid, but also ethical and reflect social justice. Through this study, it is hoped that a deeper understanding of the relationship between constitutional law, public policy, and the values ​​of the Qur'an can encourage the creation of a more trustworthy, just, and welfare-oriented government. This article aims to provide guidance for policy makers in formulating policies that are in line with Islamic moral and legal principles.

Abstract

21st century learning emphasizes the importance of 4C skills, namely Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity. This study aims to analyze the implementation of 4C skills in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Jombang. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that 4C skills have been applied in PAI learning through various active methods, such as discussions, group work, and creative presentations. Supporting factors for the implementation of 4C skills include teacher competence, school policies, and adequate technology facilities. However, there are still obstacles such as limited learning time and low student motivation. Therefore, stronger school policies and teacher training are needed to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of 4C skills in PAI learning.
