Abstract

Indonesia has a significant comparative advantage in the coffee export sector, supported by high product quality, diversity of coffee types, and ideal natural conditions for coffee cultivation. The unique taste of coffee in Indonesia, such as Arabica and Robusta, is recognized and appreciated in the international market. Nonetheless, Indonesia's coffee industry faces several challenges such as price fluctuations, climate change, inadequate infrastructure, limited access to funding, and intense global competition. To overcome these challenges and strengthen its position in the global market, a comprehensive strategy is needed. These strategies include improving product quality and consistency, developing infrastructure, diversifying and innovating products, increasing funding, and strengthening marketing and promotion. The implementation of these strategies is expected to improve the welfare of coffee farmers and producers, maximize Indonesia's coffee export potential, and maintain its comparative advantage in the global market. In addition, it is also important to increase collaboration between the government, private sector, and farming community in facing the challenges. With strong synergy, Indonesia's coffee industry can continue to grow and compete in the international market, and contribute significantly to the national economy.

Optimal management of village funds is crucial to ensuring that government performance aligns with the results achieved. The author's research used a qualitative research method through a literature study approach, gathering all relevant information on the problem being studied through other literature such as books, journals, articles, and previous research. Through this research, readers are expected to understand how accountability and transparency in village fund management, what indicators of successful village fund management are, and how to optimize the management of accountability and transparency in the 2025 State Budget.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the social construction of meaning of the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Entities (SAK-EMKM) among MSME actors in Gresik Regency using a social constructivist approach. Rather than focusing on the technical implementation of SAK-EMKM, this research examines how business owners perceive and interpret the standard based on their experiences, social interactions, and cultural context in daily bookkeeping practices. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, using semi-structured interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation involving five purposively selected informants who are members of HIPMI Gresik. Data were analyzed thematically based on Berger and Luckmann’s three constructivist processes: externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The findings reveal that understanding of SAK-EMKM is still limited, and financial recording is carried out in simple forms based on practical needs, hereditary habits, and social environmental influences. Accounting meanings are shaped through social interaction and collective experience rather than formal education. Therefore, internalization of SAK-EMKM requires support from social ecosystems such as business communities, mentoring, and contextual communication to make it more acceptable and applicable among MSME actors.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of leadership and the work environment in shaping employee work motivation, particularly in the labor-intensive garment industry in Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of leadership and the work environment on employee work motivation, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative method with an explanatory approach and collected data through a closed-ended questionnaire. Respondents were selected using random sampling from the garment industry employee population in Yogyakarta, resulting in a sample of 54 respondents. Leadership and work environment variables were measured based on Human Resource Management (HRM) theory, which emphasizes the role of leaders and working conditions on individual behavior and motivation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation, as does the work environment. Simultaneously, both variables contribute 61.6% to the variation in work motivation, while the remaining 38.4% is influenced by factors outside the research model. These findings support HRM theory, which states that improving leadership quality and improving the work environment are effective strategies for enhancing employee motivation and performance.
