Abstract

This study analyzes the position and role of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in supervising and regulating the Indonesian Islamic banking system. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with library research methods. The study examines laws, OJK regulations, and scientific literature on Islamic financial supervision. This analysis highlights the OJK's dual function as a regulator and supervisor in maintaining sharia compliance, financial stability, and governance in Islamic banks. The findings reveal that the OJK holds a strategic position as an independent authority based on Law No. 21 of 2011 and Law No. 4 of 2023 concerning the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector. OJK's on-site and off-site supervision ensures transparency, risk management, and compliance with sharia principles. Challenges include limited human resources with dual expertise, weak harmonization with the National Sharia Council (DSN-MUI), and low public literacy. This study concludes that strengthening the role of the OJK requires increased institutional coordination, capacity building, and integration of maqasid al-shari’ah principles to ensure sustainable development of Islamic finance.

Abstract

Nurses are essential to delivering discharge education, which ensures safe transitions and reduces hospital readmissions. However, high workloads can hinder nurses' ability to consistently provide this education. While burnout and perceived organizational support (POS) may mediate this relationship, evidence in the Indonesian healthcare setting is limited. Objective to analyze the effect of nurse workload on compliance with discharge education and assess the mediating roles of burnout and perceived organizational support. Methods a cross-sectional quantitative study was conducted with 100 nurses at a Type B private hospital in Semarang, Indonesia. Data were collected via validated questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results Workload had a significant negative effect on compliance with discharge education and a significant positive effect on burnout. Burnout also had a strong negative effect on compliance and significantly mediated the relationship between workload and compliance. Conversely, perceived organizational support showed no significant influence on compliance and did not mediate the workload–compliance relationship. Conclusion Increased nurse workload reduces compliance with discharge education, primarily through its effect on burnout. Although nurses reported high levels of organizational support, it did not significantly impact educational compliance. Interventions focusing on workload management and burnout prevention are crucial to enhance the quality of discharge education and patient outcomes.

This study aims to determine the factors influencing customer loyaltyfrom an Muslimc perspectiveat SA Bakery Ngawi. The results of interviews with customers and a recap of previous research revealed 15 indicators influencing customer loyalty. A factor analysis was then conducted using the Dimension Reduction program from SPSS 25. Of the 15 indicators, 11 remained factorable: taste, friendliness, cake design, custom cakes, product quality, product variants, delivery orders, affordable prices, ordering requests, satisfaction, and ease of service. This study was designed using a quantitative descriptive approach. The research sample was the Ngawi community who had made several purchases at SA Bakery. The research data used primary data sourced from a questionnaire with one indicator per questionnaire. The sampling technique used nonprobability quota purposive sampling, with a sample size set at 100 samples. The results showed that in the factor analysis process, one factor was formed, subsequently named "Sharia Product Attributes". Where in these attributes there are two interrelated aspects, namely the aspect of sharia goods in this case, sharia cakes, which are halal and thayyiban, and the aspect of sharia services within the framework of akhlaqul karimah values.

Abstract

The Hajj Financial Management Agency needs to increase its profitability because every year it must pay the subsidy for the Hajj Pilgrimage Implementation Costs for each regular pilgrim who will depart. The source of funds for this subsidy comes from the Value Benefit or yield or return from the management of funds through placements and investments. This study aims to determine the optimal portfolio in the management of hajj funds from several portfolio scenarios. This research uses a quantitative approach through the calculation of returns, expected returns, portfolio risk, and variance matrix, followed by calculations with the linear programming method using Excel Solver to determine the optimal portfolio scenario with the Markowitz approach. In obtaining data for the research process, secondary data is used, obtained from several relevant sources for the period 2020–2024 on a monthly basis with a total of 60 (sixty) samples. The data obtained include the rate of return on Islamic bank deposits, the rate of return on State Sharia Securities, the rate of return on murabaha financing, and gold price movement data. The results of this study recommend a moderate scenario (without regulatory limits) with a portfolio composition of 20% Islamic Bank Deposits, 47.35% State Sharia Securities, 32.65% Murabaha Financing, and 0.00% Gold, in which this portfolio composition can generate an expected return of 7.29% and a risk of 0.34%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of e-banking, experiential marketing, and physical evidence on customer loyalty with satisfaction as a mediating variable in Sharia Banks in the city of Surabaya. The quantitative approach is used with the type of explanatory research. A total of 100 respondents were selected through the judgment sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study showed that physical evidence had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, while e-banking and experiential marketing had a positive but not significant effect on satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty, which means that the higher the satisfaction, the more likely it is for customers to remain loyal. In addition, the results of the indirect influence test show that physical evidence has a significant effect on loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. However, e-banking and experiential marketing did not show a significant mediation effect. Overall, this research model explains that the loyalty of Islamic bank customers in Surabaya is more determined by the satisfaction factor that arises from real experience and physical evidence of banking services.

Abstract

As a financial intermediation, one of the main activities of Islamic banking is the distribution of bank financing. Bank financing is the largest contributor to the asset portfolio and represents a key source of the bank’s operating revenue. The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal bank factors that influence bank financing, such as the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets (ROA), Liquidity and Non-Performing Financing (NPF), with Bank Size as a moderating variable. The population of this study consists of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia during the period 2019–2024, and by using purposive sampling, a total of 11 banks were obtained as the research sample. The data used are secondary data derived from the financial statements of each bank. The research methodology applied is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using EViews 13. The results of this study indicate that the CAR variable has a negative but insignificant effect on bank financing, while the ROA, Liquidity, and NPF variables have a significant negative effect on bank financing. Furthermore, bank size can moderate the effect of ROA, Liquidity, and NPF on financing distribution; however, bank size cannot moderate the effect of CAR on financing distribution.
