Abstract

This study explores how research on halal hotels has evolved, what themes have emerged over time, and where future scholarship should focus especially as the demand for faith-aligned hospitality continues to grow. Using a dataset of 139 documents retrieved from the Scopus database between 2009 and 2025, the study applies bibliometric analysis via Biblioshiny and VOSviewer to map publication trends, influential authors, institutions, and countries. Keyword co-occurrence analysis is used to identify thematic clusters. Content analysis of selected articles is then conducted to synthesize key research trends and challenges. The findings show that Halal hotel research is growing steadily, with Malaysia and Indonesia contributing the most. The field centers around seven key trends: certification and standardization, faith-driven traveler behavior, service quality, branding and digital engagement, internal ethical management, emerging technologies, and broader tourism integration. However, gaps remain, particularly around inconsistent standards, vague branding, and ethical questions surrounding tech use. To support future research, this study outlines 20 actionable questions tailored to the needs of practitioners. The findings provide useful direction for those designing, managing, or regulating halal hotel services, especially those aiming to bridge Islamic values with market realities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the consumption strategies of Muslim households in facing inflation from the perspective of Islamic economics. Inflation increases the prices of basic goods and reduces purchasing power, thereby forcing households to adjust their consumption patterns in order to maintain family economic stability. This research uses a qualitative field approach conducted in Patemon Village, Tlogosari District, Bondowoso Regency. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and analytically by integrating conventional consumption theory and Islamic economic principles. The findings show that Muslim households apply several adaptive strategies, including reducing secondary consumption, adjusting spending priorities, substituting consumption goods, diversifying income sources, and utilizing social and religious networks. From the perspective of Islamic economics, household consumption behavior is not only oriented toward fulfilling material needs, but also considers halal, tayyib, maslahah, falah, qana’ah, and the prohibition of israf. These findings indicate that Islamic economics provides a strong normative foundation for shaping simpler, more rational, and more sustainable consumption behavior amid inflationary pressure.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ESG scores on the financial performance of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2024 period. The research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis. The sample consists of 11 companies, resulting in a total of 33 observations, selected through a purposive sampling method. Financial performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Tobin’s Q. Data processing was conducted using EViews version 12. The analyses included classical assumption tests consisting of normality, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests; panel data model selection tests consisting of the Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test; as well as hypothesis testing consisting of the F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination test. The results of the analysis do not support the hypothesis that ESG scores affect financial performance as measured by ROA, ROE, and Tobin’s Q.

Abstract

The development of Islamic Boarding School-Owned Enterprises (BUMP) as a tool for the economic self-reliance of Islamic boarding schools requires professional business management that adheres to Sharia principles. However, optimizing the management and development of BUMP remains a challenge for many Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to analyze the role of Sharia management in the management and development of BUMP at the Attaqwa Putra Islamic Boarding School in Bekasi. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using interview and observation techniques. The results indicate that the role of Sharia management in operations is evident in how Sharia principles serve as the foundation for all business management activities, from planning, organizing, and execution to supervision. The implementation of these principles is evident in the management of various business units, such as cooperatives, canteens, printing and photocopying services, drinking water businesses, and laundry services. Additionally, Sharia management supports business development through strategic and innovative approaches that are gradual and sustainable, promotes entrepreneurship training and learning based on Islamic values, and utilizes simple technology in business operations. The application of Sharia management contributes to business sustainability and the strengthening of the pesantren’s economic independence.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of inflation, the BI interest rate (BI Rate), exchange rate, and third-party funds on credit distribution in the banking sector in Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from companies’ annual financial reports, official publications of Bank Indonesia, and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) during the 2022–2025 research period. The sample used in this research was determined using a purposive sampling technique, resulting in five banks consistently listed in the LQ45 index during the research period. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of Statistical Product and Service Solutions 31 (SPSS 31) software. The results show that inflation, BI Rate, and exchange rate have no significant effect on credit distribution, while third-party funds have a positive and significant effect on credit distribution. These findings indicate that internal factors, particularly the collection of third-party funds, have a stronger influence on credit distribution activities compared to macroeconomic factors.

Abstract

Stock price is one of the indicators commonly used by investors to assess a company's condition and future prospects. Changes in stock prices may be influenced by various factors originating from both internal and external conditions of the company. This study examines the effect of dividend policy and capital structure on stock prices of consumer non-cyclical companies in the food & beverages subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2022–2024. Secondary data obtained from annual reports and financial statements were used in this study. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling method and obtained 84 company sample data. Data were analyzed using panel data regression with the assistance of EViews 13 software. The results of the study indicate that dividend policy has a partial and significant negative effect on stock prices, while capital structure has no effect. This finding indicates that the lower the dividends distributed by a company, the greater investor interest in investing in that company.

Abstract

Product quality is an important factor in the rice milling industry because it affects consumer satisfaction and product selling value. Nabila Putri Rice Mill still faces quality problems in the form of crushed rice (groats) and unpeeled rice. This study aims to identify the factors causing product defects and analyze the implementation of quality control using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. The method used is Statistical Quality Control (SQC) with the help of Seven Tools, namely check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, control charts (P-Charts), and fishbone diagrams. Research data were obtained through observation and documentation of the production process during the period October–November 2025. The results showed that the total rice production was 98,114 kg with the number of defects amounting to 1,011 kg or 1.03% of total production. The Pareto diagram shows that the dominant defect is crushed rice (groats) amounting to 92.28% of the total defects. The P-Chart results show that the production process is within the statistical control limits. Fishbone analysis shows that the causes of defects come from machine, method, material, and human factors. After the proposed improvements were implemented, the number of defects decreased from 1,011 kg to 837 kg, a 17% decrease. Based on the research results, the SQC method proved effective in identifying the causes of defects and assisting quality control, thereby reducing the number of defective products in the rice production process at the Nabila Putri Rice Mill.

Abstract

The evolution of Web 2.0 has transformed government communication from conventional top-down announcements into dynamic, interactive digital spaces. This study aims to analyze the strategic implementation of digital public relations by examining the use of social media influencers to socialize the positive narrative of the "Free Nutritious Meals" (Makan Bergizi Gratis) program. In the hyper-connected era, institutional transparency and public trust are highly dependent on how massive social policies are framed amidst digital noise and political polarization. A qualitative content analysis combined with digital ethnography was deployed to observe narrative construction, audience engagement metrics, and sentiment trends across major social media platforms. The empirical findings reveal that influencers act as crucial cultural mediators who translate complex bureaucratic policy criteria into relatable, authentic everyday language. This strategy significantly elevates public policy awareness and fosters high engagement among younger demographics. However, the study identifies a structural challenge regarding narrative saturation and algorithmic skepticism, where audiences occasionally question the authenticity of highly coordinated campaigns. These results contribute significant theoretical insights to the field of political public relations and source credibility theory within digital ecosystems. Pragmatically, this study offers tactical frameworks for institutional communication officers to balance high-reach influencer partnerships with long-term narrative authenticity and policy accountability to ensure sustainable citizen support.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form of liability of PT. Alami Fintek Sharia for borrower defaults to lenders. The focus of this study is the form of liability of the Alami Sharia platform, as the operator of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Lending, toward lenders regarding borrower defaults, as well as whether such liability complies with the provisions of DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 117/DSN-MUI/II/2018 on Information Technology-Based Financing Services Based on Sharia Principles. This study is motivated by the risk of borrower default in Sharia fintech services, such as the Alami Sharia platform, which raises questions regarding the scope of the platform liability toward lender an issue that requires analysis in light of the provisions of the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI). This study employs an empirical legal research design, utilizing both a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. Data were collected through interviews and a literature review, and were subsequently processed and analyzed using qualitative methods. The results of the study indicate that the Alami Sharia platform asserts that the risk of default by the borrower is a risk inherent to the lender as the shahibul maal. The platform is not directly liable for losses arising from a borrower default, provided there is no element of negligence (taqsir), fault (ta’addi), or violation of the principle of due diligence in the selection and disbursement of financing; clauses transferring liability to the lender violate the Consumer Protection Law. However, efforts to recover the lender’s losses have not yet been effective due to the predominantly administrative nature of law enforcement. Therefore, enhanced legal accountability and the development of better protection mechanisms are needed within the digital economy ecosystem.
