Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social media marketing and brand awareness on subscription intention in Vidio streaming services in Surabaya City. The population in this study are people in Surabaya City with an age range of 17 - 39 years. With a research sample of 98 respondents, namely people who have seen content or advertisements from Vidio streaming services determined by non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative method with SEM PLS analysis technique. The results showed that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on subscription intention. Furthermore, brand awareness has a positive and significant effect on subscription intention.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of flash sales and the tagline "free shipping" on purchasing decisions on Shopee. In this research the author uses quantitative research with an associative approach. The results of this research are that the flash sale variable and the tagline "free shipping" partially influence purchasing decisions in Karawang City and the flash sale variable and the tagline "free shipping" simultaneously influence purchasing decisions in Karawang City. Because of the strong encouragement from the flash sale offered by Shopee and the tagline "free shipping" on Shopee, it can lead to purchasing decisions among consumers who see it. This shows that the more Shopee flash sale programs and free shipping available on Shopee, the more purchasing decisions will increase.

Abstract

This study aimed to discover the extent to which Product Quality and Price Influence Purchase Decisions among millennials, focusing on XL Card customers in Gorontalo City. The sampling employed in this study was purposive sampling, with a sample size of 100 respondents, which was determined using the Lemeshow formula. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires distributed to the population of XL Card customers in Gorontalo City. The analytical tool used to test this study was multiple linear regression, with data analysis performed using SPSS version 27. The study findings indicated that, partially, Product Quality did not significantly influence Purchase Decisions, with a t-value of 1.023 compared to the critical value of 1.984. Conversely, Price significantly influenced Purchase Decisions, with a t- value of 11.451 exceeding the critical value of 1.984. Furthermore, the simultaneous test results indicated that both Product Quality and Price significantly influenced Purchase Decisions among millennials purchasing XL Cards. The Product Quality and Price variables collectively explained 58.8% of the variance in Purchase Decisions, while the remaining 41.2% can be attributed to other variables not included in this study

Abstract

Cooperatives, as business entities, are always encouraged to play an active role in providing credit services needed by the community. By providing credit to small and medium businesses, it is hoped that this sector can improve the quality of its activities. This research aims to test and analyze the effectiveness of the Receivables Management and Control System at the Makmur Mandiri Cooperative in Rengasdengklok. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The analytical methods used include analysis of Receivable Turn Over (RTO), Average Collection Period (ACP), Arrears Ratio, Collection Ratio, as well as evaluation of the cooperative control system. The research results show that internal control of receivables at the Makmur Mandiri Cooperative has been implemented in accordance with COSO standards. Although providing credit to cooperatives from 2018 to 2022 is considered quite effective, it still fluctuates every year due to the significant impact of Covid-19 which causes economic uncertainty, resulting in many cooperative members experiencing delays in paying loans at maturity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not there are differences in abnormal returns and trading volume activity before and after the ex-dividend date in 20 high dividend companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023. The type of method used in this research is a quantitative method. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. There were 20 companies used as samples in the research. Research data taken for 30 days consists of 5 days, 10 days and 15 days before and after the ex-dividend date. The analysis used was the paired sample t-test and the Wilcoxon Signs rank test. Based on the research results, it shows that 1) there is no significant difference in abnormal returns before and after the ex-dividend date in high dividend 20 companies. 2) there is a significant difference in trading volume activity before and after the ex-dividend date in high dividend 20 companies.

Abstract

Original Regional Income is regional income sourced from regional tax results, regional levy results, the results of separated regional wealth management, and other legitimate regional original income, which aims to provide a pass to regions in exploring funding in the implementation of regional autonomy as an embodiment centralized principle. Regional governments are expected to minimize the level of dependence on the central government regarding the management of regional revenues and expenditures. The target of regional development is the development of real, dynamic, harmonious and responsible regional autonomy with an emphasis on districts, cities and municipalities, increasing regional independence and increasingly coordinated development between sectors and between regions as well as between sectoral development and regional development. One component of regional development is tourism development. Magelang City is one of the areas frequently visited by tourists in Central Java Province. is located in a basin with a number of contributors to Magelang City's PAD, one of which is the tourism sector. This research aims to see the influence of Population Number, Number of Domestic Tourists, Number of Foreign Tourists on Regional Original Income (PAD) as well as looking at the leading commodities of tourism areas in Magelang City in 2013-2022. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, testing hypotheses and statistical data for certain uses, as well as time series data. Apart from that, it uses the Location Quotient (LQ) data analysis method, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using the t test, F test, and Determination Coefficient (R2).

Abstract

The increase in industrial activities has impacts on the environment, as many companies still fail to fulfill their environmental responsibilities adequately. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of Environmental Evaluation and Material Flow Cost Accounting on Sustainable Development. The approach adopted focuses on numerical aspects, with the research concentrating on companies in the basic and chemical industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020-2022. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, resulting in a sample size of 75 (25 companies over 3 years). SmartPLS 3 is employed as the analytical tool. The research findings indicate that environmental evaluation has no significant impact, whereas material flow cost accounting has a substantial impact on sustainable development. These findings bear important implications for further research to enrich the investigated factors and consider more representative samples to enhance their impact on Sustainable Development, requiring more effective approaches to be considered.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Marketing Communication and Service Quality on purchasing decisions at Mie NiRaja . The research population consisted of one hundred people selected from those who participated in the Mie NiRaja consumer survey. The research sample is defined as individuals who purchase Mie NiRaja MSMEs. The Lemeshow technique is used in the sample receipt process as preparation for testing. The study in question uses a quantitative methodology. For data collection purposes, this technique uses a questionnaire as a strategy. The methods used in the data analysis process are known as multiple regression and descriptive analysis. Research findings show that the discussion of Marketing Communications and the Quality of Service provided has a significant influence on the decision-making process that occurs throughout the purchasing process. In addition, the decision-making process does not consider these aspects important for meeting the requirements. It is important to note that the output of the coefficient of determination of communication and service quality has a major influence on the decision-making process. It is important to note that this impact is visible. Based on the magnitude of the F test results, this research shows that the quality of communication and service can influence purchasing decisions. Therefore, it is acceptable to believe that X1 and X2 have an equal influence on the final decision taken by consumers. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that Mie NiRaja purchasing decisions are significantly influenced by marketing communications, both partially and simultaneously. This impact is strong and statistically significant. As a consequence of the findings of the Communication Management Study, purchasing choices may be significantly impacted. Because MSME Mie NiRaja provides an appropriate level of customer service quality, it is guaranteed that customers will return again for further transactions in the future. The next step for MSME Mie NiRaja is to carry out an advertising campaign to measure the level of consumer interest in buying its products

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the influence of environmental performance and environmental disclosure on financial performance. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The data used comes from annual reports of industrial and basic chemical companies which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), as well as PROPER reports which are published by the Ministry of the Environment (KLH). The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS version 3.0 application through hypothesis testing, outer model and inner model. The research results show that environmental performance has a significant influence on the company's financial performance, while environmental disclosure does not have a significant influence on the company's financial performance. This conclusion is based on the idea that businesses that have good environmental performance will be well received by investors and other stakeholders, which will ultimately have an impact on financial performance. Apart from that, it was revealed that a company's Financial Performance is not only assessed based on the Environmental Disclosure disclosed by the company, but also through the company's overall revenue or profits. It is also hoped that the company sample will be taken into greater consideration so that the research can produce a more comprehensive understanding of the impact of Environmental Disclosure and Environmental Performance on other sectors.

Abstract

MSME Rujak Manis Bumbu Cak Mimin is one of the MSMEs operating in the food sector located in the city of Surabaya and already has a simple financial report, but at this time the financial report needs to be re-examined whether it is in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities. Intermediate (SAK EMKM). This research aims to analyze the process of preparing financial reports for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Bumbu Rujak Manis Cak Mimin based on the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with business owners and direct observation of the process of consistently preparing their financial reports. Based on data analysis, the research results show that Cak Mimin's Sweet Rujak Bumbu MSMEs have not fully recorded their finances based on the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities. This is due to a lack of understanding and knowledge regarding Financial Accounting Standards from both workers and business owners.
