Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the characteristics and performance of the air stability index threshold values ??for Cumulonimbus (CB) and Thunderstorm (TS) cloud events. This research compares the results with previous data at the Hasanuddin Meteorological Station. The analysis was carried out using Showalter Index (SI), K Index (KI), Total-Totals (TT), and Convective Available Potential Energy (CAPE) data from 2013 to 2022 with the Sturges method to determine class intervals and frequency of occurrence. Then, the performance of the threshold value was tested with 2023 data using the 2x2 contingency table verification method. The analysis results show that the threshold values ??for the air stability index, especially SI, KI, TT, and CAPE, have changed compared to previous guidelines or research. These changes are mainly in the lower threshold values, with new values ??? (-5), ? (13), ? (32), and ? (1), respectively. This shows that the frequency of CB and TS events is still influenced by this threshold value, especially at the lower limit during cloud formation. However, performance analysis in 2023 does not yet show clear significance. In general, the sensitivity of the index in predicting short-term weather is better during the day than at night, showing consistency with previous studies.

Abstract

Discussion on national character has been included in the legal regulation, that every Indonesian society is expected to be an individual who understands morals and is accustomed to doing good things in life. Developments in the era of globalization are increasingly massive, ultimately having an impact on the elimination of national character. In the end, several problems arise due to the shift in national character, one of which is the occurrence of free association which has an impact on sexual harassment. This study uses a library research method by utilizing secondary data as reference material. In an effort to prevent sexual harassment, character education and the application of religious values for an individual are very important. Because these two things can ultimately lead an individual to maintain association; manners; politeness; and norms taught in religious values.

Abstract

This study examines the interest of the youth of the Batak Karo Protestant Church (GBKP) Cikarang in the use of regional language communication. There is a phenomenon of the lack of interest of GBKP youth in using regional languages ??in communicating. Regional languages ??play an important role in describing cultural identity. Along with the shifting developments in the era of globalization, the interest in using regional languages ??will gradually be replaced by contemporary languages ??that change the way of communication between fellow GBKP Cikarang youth. The purpose of this study was to determine the interest of GBKP youth in using Karo language in the era of globalization. The research method used Qualitative research. The location of the research was at the GBKP Cikarang Church, West Java. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. This study used the Ethnolinguistic Vitality Theory to determine the factors influencing the use of regional languages. The results of the study showed that: (1) the interest of GBKP youth in using Karo language in Cikarang experienced a real decline, this finding also revealed that interest was not completely lost, because GBKP youth were more pressured by an irregular or changing environment. (2) factors that influence the use of Karo language in communicating the role of family, environment and the era of globalization and the demands of the times. The use of Karo language among GBKP youth in Cikarang, West Java, has experienced a significant decline. Although there are variations in the understanding and use of Karo language depending on family background, place of residence and social interaction, in general the interest of GBKP youth in using their mother tongue has declined.

Abstract

Diabetic foot ulcers often cause severe complications such as infection and lower extremity amputation. To prevent death, comprehensive interventions combined with CAM are needed. Studies have been well done on this topic; However , we rarely discuss the benefits of stingless bee honey ( Trigona Itama ) for diabetic foot ulcers. Therefore, this study intends to evaluate the use of Stingless Bee Honey ( Trigona Itama ) before implementation in human subjects. A literature review search was conducted to achieve the research objectives. Several online databases are involved in research assessment. The search criteria were determined by considering the topic, research design, type of article, and year of publication. The findings show that Stingless Bee Honey ( Trigona Itama ) has the potential for diabetic foot ulcers for a certain period. Future studies should focus on the long-term results of this honey when used in patients with chronic wounds.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the validity and reliability of a digital application that integrates Logotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (LCBT) to reduce anxiety in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) undergoing hemodialysis. Anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) before and after intervention. Content validity was established through expert judgment from mental health professionals and IT specialists, while construct validity was confirmed through statistical analysis. Reliability was evaluated through Cronbach's alpha and test-retest methods. This application demonstrated strong content and construct validity, with a high Cronbach's alpha coefficient indicating excellent internal consistency. Additionally, the application demonstrated significant test-retest reliability, confirming its stability over time. These findings suggest that the LCBT application is a valid and reliable tool for managing anxiety in CKD patients, offering a promising adjunctive treatment to improve psychological outcomes in this vulnerable population.

Abstract

Digital interventions offer a promising approach to mental health care, especially for conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in postoperative patients. This study aims to assess the validity and reliability of the combined digital interventions of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Therapeutic Relationship (TR). Psychometric evaluation was carried out involving 30 post-operative patients diagnosed with PTSD at a government hospital in Kebumen , Indonesia. Participants were randomly assigned to an intervention group receiving digital ACT and TR treatment or a control group receiving standard care. The validity of the intervention was assessed using measures of content and construct validity, while reliability was evaluated using internal consistency and test-retest reliability. The digital intervention demonstrated strong content validity, with expert review resulting in a Content Validity Index (CVI) of 0.92. Construct validity was supported by a significant correlation between change in PTSD symptoms and a measure of psychological flexibility (r = 0.68, p < 0.01). The intervention demonstrated high internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.87) and strong test–retest reliability ( Intraclass Correlation Coefficient [ICC] = 0.85). The combined digital intervention of ACT and TR is a valid and reliable tool for treating PTSD in postoperative patients. Its psychometric properties support its use in clinical settings, and further research should explore its efficacy and effectiveness in larger populations.
