<![CDATA[This research was conducted because of the rampant use of prokem language in the Indonesian population, especially among students. This research aims to: 1) to know the form of prokem language used by students, 2) to know the impact of using prokem language in everyday life and 3) to know the effect of using prokem language on the existence of Indonesian language among students. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used were participant observation techniques and questionnaires. Respondents in this study were prokem students, selected using simple random sampling technique. The results showed: There are 5 forms of prokem language that are often used by students, 2) negative and positive impacts of using prokem language among students in daily communication, 3) the use of prokem language affects the existence of Indonesian language.]]>

<![CDATA[Schools in Indonesia are currently based on traditional learning methods. They follow the traditional setting of face-to-face schools in classrooms. Even though many schools have started mixed learning, many of them are stuck with old procedures. The Covid-19 Pandemic caused by the Corona Virus rocked the entire world. The World Health Organization declared it a pandemic. This situation challenges education systems around the world and forces educators to switch to online teaching mode overnight. Many schools that were previously reluctant to change their traditional pedagogical approach had no choice but to switch entirely to online teaching-learning. The article covers the importance of online learning and analysis of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, & Challenges of e-learning mode in times of crisis. This article also highlights the growth of online learning during times of pandemics and natural disasters and includes advice for educational institutions on how to deal with the challenges associated with online learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to obtain information whether or not there is a relationship between the mastery of language style and students' creativity together with the ability to write poetry in class X SMAN 84 Jakarta, which can be detailed as follows: 1) There is a relationship between the mastery of language style and the ability to write poetry. class X student of SMAN 84 Jakarta; 2) There is a relationship between creativity and the ability to write poetry in class X SMAN 84 Jakarta; and 3) There is a relationship between mastery of language style and creativity with the ability to write poetry in class X SMAN 84 Jakarta. The population in this study were 7 classes, namely class X MIPA 1 s.d. X MIPA 3, X IPS 1 s.d. X IPS 3, and X IBB. This study took a sample of 20% of the population with a total of 80 students from two classes selected randomly, namely class X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 3. This research is a quantitative research analyzed using the SPSS version 23 application. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship. which is significant between Language Style and Poetry writing skills because t arithmetic (5.745) is greater than the t table price (1.664). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between creativity and poetry writing skills because tcount (6.150) is greater than the t table price (1.664). There is a relationship between mastery of language style and creativity with the ability to write poetry in class X SMAN 84 Jakarta with a determination coefficient of R2y (1,2) of 0.500, which means that language style and creativity can jointly influence 50% change in the variable of poetry writing skills (Y).]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to improve students' listening skills using audio media using audio media, namely a model of using audio media such as playing learning material via cell phone speakers for students in grades V and VI at elementary school level. This research is classroom action research carried out in three cycles. In the learning process there are two stages, namely, the planning stage and the implementation stage. The subjects in the research were students in grades V and VI of Elementary School who carried out Tutoring (bimbel) at IC Private Tutoring (Iqro Corner) on Jl. KH. Abdul Latief No.47 Sumur Pecung, Serang City, Banten, 42118. The results of the study showed an increase in the average score of the final listening test after receiving treatment on the effectiveness of using audio media in each cycle.]]>

<![CDATA[This research purposed to describe the using of endophora anaphoric and cataphoric in the Merelakanmu Seutuhnya created by Yusuf Hamdhani. Datas came from padan method with the extralingual of Indonesian language. The analyzis showed: (1) the using of endophora anaphoric with the classification, (a) personal of anaphoric endophora, (b) demonstrativa of anaphoric endophor, and (c) comparrative of anaphoric endophora. (2) the using of acataphoric endophora with the classification, (a) personal of cataphoric endophora, (b) demonstrative of cataphoric endophora. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the use of anaphoric endophore references in the novel Merelakannmu wholly by Yusuf Hamdhani was dominated by anaphorical endophore references on the type of demonstration.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is (1) to calibrate and explain the form of directive speech in the event of a service meeting in the school environment man 3 Pandeglang school year 2019/2020; (2) classify and explain the function of the directive in the speech of the office meeting in the school environment man 3 Pandeglang school year 2019/2020; and (3) classify and explain the implications in the event of a service meeting in the school environment MAN 3 Pandeglang school year 2019/2020. This research that became the object of the study is a meeting at MAN 3 Pandeglang. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. In this study, it was conducted using contextual analysis methods. Based on the results of the study there are types, function of speech directive and implications generated by the action of the directive as much as 52 data, namely the action of the directive of the request including the function of requesting 1 data. This type of action command 33 data function requires 10 data, demands 1 data, directs 3 data, instructs 17 data and requires 2 data. This type of directive prohibition 9 data serves to prohibit 8 data and limit 1 data. The type of action directive given permission 1 data includes enabling. This type of advice action 8 data serves to advise 6 data and suggest 2 data.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted with the aim of describing the form of code mixing and the context of the codes used in the event "Catatan Najwa bersama Maudy Ayunda". This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection method used in this study is the listening and recording method with the research instrument in the form of a video in the Catatan Najwa event uploaded by Najwa Shihab to youtube. Data was obtained and collected using the SBLC (Listen Free Folding Record) technique with the note-taking technique as a follow-up to classifying the data. The presentation of the results of the analysis is described in written form. The results showed that there were five forms of code mixing, namely: word form code mixing in English, phrase code mixing in English, baster code mixing in English, clause code mixing in English, and word repetition code mixing in English.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem described in this paper is the function of speech acts and the resulting conversational implications of netizens speech on cases of sexual harassment by singer Via Vallen in the comments column on Instagram. Based on this problem, the purpose of this study is to explain and classify the function of speech acts and the resulting conversational implications of netizens utterances regarding cases of sexual harassment by singer Via Vallen in the comments column on Instagram. The data were collected using the observation method and notetaking technique. Data were reviewed and analyzed using contextual methods. Presentation of the results of the analysis was carried out using informal methods. The results of the analysis found five speech act functions, namely the function of declaration, representation, expressiveness, directive, and commissive. Conversational implicatues found four conversational implicatures, namely conversational implicatures as a result of violations of the maxims of quantily, quality, relevance, and implementation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the language attitudes to students of SMA Negeri 2 Gunugputri towards Indonesian in written communication with the Whatsapp group . This study used a qualitative descriptive method . The data collection techniques used were speech-free listening and note-taking techniques . The results of the analysis show that the language attitudes to SMA Negeri 2 Gunungputri students have diverse language attitudes to Indonesian , regional languages , and foreign languages . The respondent's language attitude to Indonesian in the three components is very positive about an index of 3.36 . It can be interpreted that SMA Negeri 2 Gunungputri students have a very good knowledge of Indonesian . The knowledge possessed by students is in line with their affective and conative components . The choice of language attitudes to students of SMA Negeri 2 Gunungputri has an impact on language shifts among students . This can be seen from the communication process of the class whatsapp group conversation . They are more comfortable using Indonesian slang by combining language code mixing and language code switching with regional languages and English . The factors of the choice of language attitudes to this study lie in the sociolinguistic context .]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to find out the meaning in Wardah advertisement on Youtube. In conducting this research researcher used qualitative research methods. The data source of this study is a quote from Wardah ad on Youtube. The data onto this study were obtained two data, primary data and secondary data. Primary data onto this study are in the form of quotes containing lexical, denotative, connotative and contextual meanings. Meanwhile secondary data onto this study is in the form of information relating to Wardah advertisements obtained through Youtube. Data collection techniques in this study include observing Wardah advertisements with the study of meaning (lexical, denotative, connotative and contextual) by downloading video advertisements from Youtube, recording techniques and note taking. Then it is manuscript and analyzed based on the study of meaning. Based on the results of research conducted in analyzing the meaning of Wardah ads on YouTube there are lexical meanings, denotative meanings, connotative meanings and contextual meanings. Lexical meaning there are Indonesian, English and Korean words which are interpreted into Indonesian using a dictionary. The denotative meaning is in the sentences and utterances in Wardah's advertisements. The connotative meaning is in some pictures which have connotation meaning as a form of invitation. Whereas the contextual meaning is in the situation contained in Wardah's advertisement.]]>
