THCIJ (Tourism, Hospitality and Culture Insights Journal) ini terbit setiap 6 bulan sekali dalam satu tahun yakni bulan Januari - Juni dan Juli - Desember. Redaksi menerima sumbangan tulisan jurnal dan artikel dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris minimal 8 halaman maksimal 15 halaman kwarto. Redaksi berhak menyunting sejauh tidak merubah atau mengganti isi dan makna tulisan jurnal yang diterima.

<![CDATA[Planning and development of cultural tourism areas is a concrete form of cultural preservation and benefits for the development of good tourism which has the values of preserving cultural assets, so that these cultural assets can function more optimally to increase and understand society about the importance of the nation's cultural works in form of good cultural and tourism management. The challenges faced in cultural development are basically the high level of materialism in society which is starting to abandon the noble values of national culture and the decline in morals in some communities. Therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze the development of cultural heritage tourist destinations in Bayan village for sustainable tourism. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, namely explaining the relationship between the phenomena studied, namely analyzing the development of cultural heritage tourism destinations in Bayan village for sustainable tourism. The data sources for this research consist of primary data sources, namely the main sources obtained directly from informants. Both through interviews with sources and through direct observation. From this research it can be seen that the regional government of North Lombok Regency has designated the Bayan Beleq Ancient Mosque as a cultural tourist attraction with regional regulations and has implemented plans and activities to develop facilities and infrastructure, workforce and tourism. Development activities achieved include the construction of gates and public toilets at the Bayan Beleq Ancient Mosque, restoration of traditional houses, community development through education, skills training and tourism promotion through various sources.]]>

<![CDATA[Lombok is one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia which has many tourist attractions. The sacred bathing tourist attraction in Suranadi Temple area is one of them. From my observations, tourists visiting this area not only carry out rituals, but tourists also enjoy traditional culinary delights with basic objectives, reasons, and argumentative factors. The existence of this tourist destination has an impact on the economic aspect. Based on observations, literature studies, and interviews with several residents and temple managers, the findings strengthen the community's view that tourism can have an impact on the economic growth of the Suranadi community. <![CDATA[Indonesia continues to strive to develop the tourism industry to achieve a balanced foreign trade balance and improve the local economy. Sumba Island, especially East Sumba Regency, has tremendous natural and cultural tourism potential, one of which is Walakiri Beach. This beach is famous for the unique beauty of mangrove trees, especially at sunset. This research aims to formulate a development strategy for Walakiri Beach as a leading tourist destination in Watumbaka Village, Pandawai District, East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The method used was descriptive qualitative with SWOT analysis. The results showed that Walakiri Beach has significant strengths and opportunities to be developed, although there are some weaknesses and threats that need to be addressed. Development strategies include increasing public awareness to protect the environment, structuring facilities, and effective tourism promotion. The implementation of these strategies is expected to increase tourist attraction, local community welfare, and regional income.]]>

<![CDATA[Pejanggik people carry out of Timbung War using glutinous rice mixed with coconut milk. This tradition contains quite strong social value of Pejanggik societies. This research aims to find out how the process of Timbung War and whar are sosial values contained in this tradition. The data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research indicate that the Timbung War is one of traditions passed down by our ancestors which was carried out by generation to generation. The aim of Timbung War for rejecting bala’ and hoping for the blessing from God. The preparation of Timbung War begins with preparatory stage, consist of deliberation and consensus, preparing the equipment to be used. After that implementation stage, consist of taking of holy water, reciting zikir and barzanji, and asking permission to open the ceremony of Timbung War. Then, Clossing stage, consist of facial washing and forehead marking and then Timbung War.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the travel pattern model and tourism potential of Kuta Mandalika Village. By using the 5A identification method, we can develop travel patterns in Kuta Mandalika Village as a Super Priority Destination. The research method used in this final project is descriptive qualitative, using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using data reduction techniques, then presenting the data until finally drawing conclusions from the data. In the results of this final project research, it can be seen that the potential of Kuta Mandalika Village in terms of the 5A components, namely accommodation, accessibility, attractions, amenities and activities, is suitable for visits by domestic and foreign tourists. So the STOPOVER travel pattern model was created.]]>

<![CDATA[Halal tourism aims to increase tourist satisfaction in the tourism industry in the Sharia Tourism Park. The main problem in this study is because there are still weaknesses in tourism in terms of facilities, services and cleanliness in tourist attractions. This study aims to determine how the impact of halal tourism on tourist satisfaction and also how the satisfaction of tourists visiting the Sharia Tourism Park. In this study, the author uses a field research approach (field research) data is analyzed with validity tests, reliability tests and simple regression tests (t-tests) using the SPSS 20.0 application. the results of the study show that halal tourism has a significant impact on the satisfaction of tourists visiting the Sharia Tourism Park. The percentage level of impact can be seen from the R square is 58.4%, while the remaining 41.6% is influenced by other factors.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the impact of motivation, service quality, and product quality on the business management strategy of cafeterias in Lahat Regency. In an era of increasingly intense business competition, cafeteria managers face the challenge of continuously improving product and service quality while understanding the importance of motivation in formulating effective strategies. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to managers and customers of cafeterias in Lahat Regency. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to test the impact of each variable on the business management strategy. The results of the study indicate that motivation has a significant effect on business management strategies, followed by service quality and product quality. This research provides valuable insights for cafeteria managers in formulating better strategies to enhance their business competitiveness by improving employee motivation, service, and product quality.]]>

<![CDATA[English as a global language is taught to the students as the subjects in primary schools to universities. Alongside with that circumstances, students also could learn from informal places, like English course or Online Platform, that create various opportunities for students to learn English. Kampung Inggris PALI is one of the informal place to learn English at PALI, that can infiltrate the Language Teaching at the informal classroom direcly and to formal classroom indirectly with the output of the concept is the more motivated student to learn to speak English, that not too many formal and informal institution can offer. Students’ speaking achievement at Kampung Inggris PALI were analyzed by using some techniques: observation, interview, and document analysis. The qualitative method was used in this research. The results indicate that the students in Kampung Inggris PALI have strong motivation in speaking English although they still have lack in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, fluency and English Understanding]]>

<![CDATA[This research analyzes the potential of tourism events in Kabupaten PALI, Sumatera Selatan, by focusing on three key locations: Candi Bumi Ayu, Dekranasda PALI, and Lapangan Gelora Pramuka. Utilizing the 4A approach (Attraction, Amenity, Accessibility, and Ancillary), the study identifies the strengths and areas for improvement in these venues to support tourism development. Findings highlight significant opportunities for cultural festivals, heritage exhibitions, and community events that can enhance local economic growth and tourism sustainability. Strengthened infrastructure, improved amenities, and coordinated event management are recommended to maximize the region’s tourism potential and attract domestic and international visitors.]]>
