Abstract

Congestion is one of the problems that occur in urban areas, one of which is the city of Bandung. To overcome this problem, the Bandung City Government has established a policy on Trans Metro Bandung with the aim of improving services and providing integrated, safe, fast, smooth, orderly, regular, comfortable, reliable and efficient public transportation. However, in reality, the policy has not been able to achieve the stated goals. This study aims to analyze the causes of the decline in passenger demand for Trans Metro Bandung Corridor 3 (Cicaheum – Sarijadi). The study uses a descriptive quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to passengers to measure perceptions and expectations of service quality. Data analysis was carried out using the Service Quality (ServQual) method to identify the gap between passenger expectations and perceptions of service quality. The results of the ServQual calculation show a gap value in each dimension, namely, Comfort (-0.47), Regularity (-0.94), Security & Safety (-0.61), Equality (-0.20), and Affordability (-0.62), with a total of -0.58. All of these negative values indicate that the service quality of Trans Metro Bandung Corridor 3 is still below customer expectations.

Abstract

Background:With the increasing prominence of digital platforms in modern marketing, customer engagement has become a key driver of brand success. The role of customer engagement in fostering brand advocacy, particularly through the use of digital platforms, has garnered significant attention. One of the most influential factors in this process is user-generated content (UGC), which has been shown to impact brand perceptions and customer behavior. Aims:This study aims to explore the relationship between customer engagement behaviors on digital platforms and brand advocacy, with a particular focus on the role of emotional connection and user-generated content. The research seeks to identify the key factors that influence customer engagement and how these behaviors contribute to brand advocacy, thereby providing insights into effective digital marketing strategies. Research Method:A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with digital platform users, analyzing their engagement behaviors, emotional connections with brands, and the impact of user-generated content on brand advocacy. The data was then analyzed using statistical methods to identify patterns and correlations. Results and Conclusion:The study found that active customer engagement behaviors, such as commenting and sharing content, were strongly correlated with higher levels of emotional connection to the brand, which in turn increased the likelihood of brand advocacy. User-generated content, particularly positive reviews and social media posts, served as a powerful form of social proof, influencing other customers to trust and engage with the brand. Brands that leveraged personalized content, community-building tools, and influencer collaborations saw higher levels of customer engagement and advocacy. Contribution:This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on customer engagement and brand advocacy by providing a comprehensive analysis of the factors that drive advocacy behaviors on digital platforms. It highlights the importance of emotional connection, UGC, and platform features in shaping customer perceptions and loyalty. The findings offer valuable insights for brands seeking to enhance their digital marketing strategies and foster long-term customer loyalty.

Abstract

Cimahi City is part of the Greater Bandung metropolitan area which has a strategic role in the regional transportation system. Cimahi City has a population of 598.70 thousand people with a density of 14,110 people/km2 (BPS, 2025). The increase in population affects population mobility with an increasing demand for transportation services. Cimahi City Station is part of the transportation node which is the point of switching modes for train users and city transportation (angkot). This journal review provides results and comparisons of previous studies that discuss intermodal integration service user satisfaction, which emphasizes service quality, trust, and loyalty factors. This review also provides a study of the actual conditions in Cimahi City, such as limited bus stop facilities, uncoordinated routes, and the tendency of people to switch to online transportation due to the lack of comfort and reliability of existing services. The results of this review are expected to be the basis for designing strategies to improve integrated transportation services in Cimahi City.

Abstract

The expedition service company PT.XYZ Bandung and Jakarta Branches is facing a decrease in the number of shipments and the weight of goods sent for the Jakarta - Bandung shipping route, which automatically affects the income received. This decline phenomenon can certainly have an impact on the financial condition and sustainability of the company. This study will try to conduct a trial by calculating using a system dynamics model. In previous studies, the tariff determination model was completed using the standard costing method, the actual costing method, the activity based costing method, calculating factory overhead costs, the full costing method and variable costing. The results of the study show that the model with system dynamics is better by showing that the model conditions allow the company PT.XYZ to understand the interactions between variables that form the structure of this model. The model shows the causal relationship between various variables to each other in the model, so that the causal relationship between these variables forms a dynamic system model for the operational model of shipping goods at PT. XYZ Branch Hub Bandung City. The company can understand the interactions of various business elements that occur and can analyze what factors form this model including the shipping of goods, the company's income and profit, and the company's operational costs.

Abstract

With the growth in the number and types of vehicles in Bogor City, there are new conveniences and challenges. One of them is the large number of vehicle exhaust emissions that mix with each other in the air, causing air pollution caused by vehicles passing through arterial roads and causing congestion. This study aims to determine how much pollution caused by vehicles, especially those generated on arterial roads in Bogor City and is expected to help related parties to take mitigation actions. This research was conducted using the VKT (Vehicle Kilometer-Traveled) method to calculate vehicle pollution and the Simple Box Model to determine the amount of types of emissions produced. The vehicle exhaust emissions produced are quite high, therefore mitigation measures need to be taken.
