Abstract

In the context of modern business that is increasingly intertwined with sustainability issues, the development of a brand sustainability strategy is becoming essential for companies that want to not only survive but also thrive. Social media marketing and marketing management are emerging as key forces in shaping sustainable brand identities, guiding organizations towards responsible business practices and empowering consumers. This research aims to explore the role of social media marketing and marketing management in the development of brand sustainability strategies. A key focus is on identifying how social media engagement and marketing management strategies can shape consumer perceptions of brands and lead to the implementation of sustainable business practices. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews with marketing, brand management, and social media experts in organizations that have successfully integrated brand sustainability. Document analysis was also conducted to investigate the organization's social media campaigns, marketing materials, and sustainability reports. The results show that social media marketing plays an important role in conveying brand sustainability messages, creating consumer engagement, and building awareness of responsible business practices. Meanwhile, marketing management serves as a catalyst for integrating sustainability values in all aspects of an organization's marketing strategy and operations. Employee engagement and interdepartmental collaboration are key to the successful implementation of a brand's sustainability strategy.

Abstract

Global trade has undergone significant transformation in recent decades, influenced by developments in information and communications technology (ICT), international trade policies, and shifts in global consumer preferences. Through this approach, research aims to understand how these factors interact with each other and shape the structure of global trade. Analysis shows that ICT developments have influenced global industrial structures by reshaping supply chains and facilitating the growth of e-commerce. On the other hand, international trade policies play an important role in shaping trade patterns and the geographic distribution of production, while shifts in global consumer preferences have changed the way companies operate and influenced their business strategies. By understanding the interactions between these factors, we can develop effective business strategies and government policies in managing structural changes in global trade networks to achieve sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia faces environmental pressures from rapid industrialization. Green technology adoption offers solutions for reducing emissions and improving resource efficiency, yet adoption remains uneven across sectors. Aims: This study investigates drivers, barriers, and performance implications of green technology adoption in Indonesian industries. Research Method: A mixed-methods approach combined surveys of 198 firms across five sectors with 25 in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM and thematic analysis. Results and Conclusion: Regulatory pressure (β=0.38), customer demand (β=0.41), and cost benefits (β=0.35) drive adoption. Major barriers include high costs (71%), lack of expertise (64%), and insufficient support (59%). Adopters reported 26% emissions reduction, 32% energy efficiency gains, 23% water conservation, and 29% waste reduction. Comprehensive policies, incentives, and capacity building are needed to accelerate adoption. Contribution: This research provides empirical evidence on green technology adoption in developing economies, offering insights for policymakers and industry practitioners.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe development of Islamic literacy in early childhood requires collaboration between schools and families. However, preliminary observations at TK Karya Cendikia, Bandung, showed several challenges: limited Islamic book collections, underutilized library facilities, and insufficient parental skills in storytelling. These conditions hinder the growth of sustainable Islamic literacy among children. This community service program was designed to address these issues by implementing storytelling training for parents and strengthening the school library. The methods included: (1) interactive workshops and mentoring sessions for parents to enhance storytelling techniques; (2) improvement of library facilities through spatial arrangement, enrichment of age-appropriate Islamic book collections, and the introduction of a simple digital catalog; and (3) monitoring and evaluation of children’s engagement in literacy activities. The results demonstrated increased parental competence in creative storytelling, greater enthusiasm among children in accessing the library, and heightened interest in reading Islamic-themed books. Furthermore, the library environment became more child-friendly and functional, supporting continuous literacy practices at school. This program highlights the importance of integrating parental involvement with institutional support in fostering early Islamic literacy. Keywords: Islamic Literacy; Early Childhood Education; Storytelling Training; School Library; Parental Involvement.
