Abstract

In an era of rapidly developing technology - especially among the millennial generation - the need for a fast yet simple and practical system has increased significantly. The Indonesian Independent Golden Generation Foundation, a social institution in Bekasi, has been facing challenges in managing data and determining the character of foster children which is being done manually and without a proper structure. This research aims to develop an application to determine the character of foster childrens using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This application is designed to overcome problems of efficiency and accuracy in data management and to determine the character of foster childrens. The AHP method is used to break down complex problems into a hierarchically arranged components, using weighted comparisons for decision making. The research results show that this application can simplify the performance of the foundation administrators, speed up the process of determining the character of a foster children more objectively, and reduce subjectivity in decision making. There is criterias considered that includes honesty, independence, respect, creativity and discipline. This application is expected to be able to provide an effective solution for foundations in managing foster child data efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

Administrative management of letters in higher education environments still often faces various obstacles, especially if they are still using manual methods. At the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UINSU, the old system often causes delays in processing, errors in letter numbering, and difficulties when searching for archives. This study aims to see how the implementation of Google Sheets can help optimize digital letter management. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through direct observation and interviews with four administrative staff from three different divisions. The analysis was carried out using a thematic coding approach and inductive content. The results of the study showed a significant increase: the time for recording letters was reduced by 60%, searching for archives became 80% faster, and archiving time was also reduced by 80%. Numbering accuracy increased thanks to the automation feature, while transparency between units improved because all data could be accessed together in real time. In addition, the use of Google Sheets reduces operational costs because it does not require additional devices or software. From these findings, it can be concluded that Google Sheets is a simple but effective digital tool to help the administration process become more efficient, accurate, and transparent. This model also has the potential to be applied to other administrative units that are looking for practical solutions in the digitalization process.

Abstract

Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) represents a company's commitment to contributing to sustainable development. The monitoring and evaluation (monev) process of CSER program implementation is often still carried out manually, which hampers the effectiveness and accountability of reporting. This study aims to design a web-based information system for monitoring and evaluating CSER using the prototyping method. This method involves several stages: communication, quick planning, quick design, prototype development, and evaluation. The outcome of this research is an information system design that includes UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence, class) and user interface components to support the CSER monitoring and evaluation process. The system is expected to enhance the transparency, efficiency, and accountability of corporate CSER program reporting.

Abstract

Equal access to education remains a key challenge in the development of human resources at the regional level. Asahan Regency is home to a variety of formal and non-formal educational institutions spread across multiple districts. However, the distribution data of these institutions is still fragmented and not yet integrated into a centralized system. This study aims to map the locations of formal and non-formal schools registered under the Department of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) in Asahan Regency using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. The developed system presents spatial information through an interactive digital map that helps the public locate schools according to their needs and supports the local government in planning equitable distribution of educational facilities. In addition, the system includes a feature that allows school administrators to upload administrative documents digitally, thereby streamlining the registration process at the Public Service Mall. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, documentation, and interviews. The results show that GIS implementation effectively provides accurate visualizations of school distribution patterns and helps identify areas lacking in educational facilities. The system also enhances the efficiency of the administrative process for school licensing.

Abstract

Effective project planning and scheduling is a crucial factor in ensuring the successful implementation of projects, especially in the construction sector. CV Kayfa Permata, a construction company, often faces challenges in managing project time and resources optimally. To overcome these challenges, this study aims to design and build a desktop/web-based project scheduling application that implements the Critical Path Method (CPM) method. The uniqueness of this application lies in its ability to automatically calculate critical paths, total project duration, as well as visualize work network diagrams, which are directly tailored to the operational needs of the local company. Different from a theoretical or simulation approach, this research produces an applicative solution that can be implemented directly in a real work environment. The application development methodology uses a waterfall approach, with stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The test results show that the app is able to improve the efficiency of project scheduling and simplify the decision-making process. With this application, it is hoped that the project scheduling process at CV Kayfa Permata will be more systematic, efficient, and measurable.
