Abstract

Decision Support System (DSS) is a procedure-based model to process data and assist management in making decisions. Computer-based Decision Support System to improve decision-making ability to solve quasi-structured or unstructured problems. One of the methods that can be used to solve problems in this DSS is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is a method that uses weighted addition. With this method the optimal solution is sought from a number of alternatives and certain criteria. This application is desktop-based so that it can be used by users and aims to make it easier for users to need information and solutions to help choose the best homeroom teacher.

Abstract

In improving the quality of public servants at Labersa Toba Hotel & Convention Centre, in this case employees, the leadership has actually made various innovations. One of them is giving awards to employees who have achievements. However, the performance assessment that has been carried out so far does not meet the standard criteria of an organization's work, because performing performance calculations is still limited to recapitulation of attendance by way of manual attendance recapitulation which takes a long time. This, of course, in addition to taking a long time, also allows for calculation errors. Employee performance appraisal related to the successful implementation of duties and personnel capabilities does not affect the improvement of service quality to the community. MFEP is a quantitative method that uses a weighting system. In multi-factor decision making, decision makers subjectively and intuitively weigh various factors that have an important influence on their chosen alternative. For strategically influential decisions, it is preferable to use a quantitative approach such as MFEP, from 10 Candidates calculated with the MFEP of candidates who having the highest evaluation weight is Candidate 3 (K3) with an Evaluation Weight Value = 79.00.

Abstract

A decision support system is a combination of individual intelligence sources with component capabilities to improve decision quality. Decision support system is also a computer-based information system for decision-making management that handles semi-structured problems. The purpose of this study was to create an application for nurse employees at RSUD Porsea. Based on the results of the research that has been discussed, the Decision Support System for Determining the Best Nurse at RSUD Porsea using the Simple Additive Wieghting (SAW) method with the benefit of being able to make it easier to process nurse data and make it easier to determine the best nurse for a nurse promotion at RSUD Porsea.

Abstract

Determination of homeroom teachers at SMPN 1 Balige using the Simple Additive Weighting method. The model used in this decision support system is Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) which is a system that can produce an alternative decision that can be used as a tool in making decisions. Based on government demands in the field of education to improve the quality of homeroom teachers, system development This decision support is one way to assist in determining the appropriate teacher to be a homeroom teacher. The SAW method was chosen because this method determines the weight value for each attribute, then proceed with a ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives in question, namely the teacher who has the highest score based on each predetermined criterion. With this ranking method, the assessment will be more precise because it is based on the criteria and weights that have been determined so as to get accurate results as a decision aid to determine the homeroom teacher at SMPN 1 Balige.

Abstract

Attendance is a routine before carrying out activities such as education at schools and campuses. This is a list of attendance records present when starting the activity until the activity ends. At this time the attendance system used is still manual by hand. In this case the attendance system will be created automatically using an RFID tag as an identification card and an RFID reader as a card reader. This tool works by using two series contained in the AT89S52 microcontroller as an RFID Starter Kit controller. Communication uses serial communication or RS 232. Communication with the microcontroller used in the RFID Starter Kit is serial while RS 232 is used in the microcontroller module. In addition to the addition of hardware, this tool is supported by design software including Visual Basic 6 and SQL. Visual Basic is used for programming student data processing and SQL is used for student databases. The advantage of this tool is that it is relatively inexpensive and does not require a computer. So there are only tools present in each class to replace the PC and on the server side there is a PC as the center

Abstract

A house is a building that functions as a residence or residence and a means of fostering a family. In rural areas there are still many residents' houses that are uninhabitable and this is caused by the standard of living of people who still live modestly and have incomes below the average, these conditions make many residents' houses uninhabitable that need to be renovated through house renovation assistance. Decision making is a system that is able to provide both problem-solving abilities and communication skills for semi-structured problems. This research system aims to design a system for determining recipients of home surgery assistance using the method, Weighted product which is one of the methods in SPK which uses a weighting method with a rating of an appraisal variable. The programming language used in making the system is PHP with a MySQL database. The results of the implementation of the system that has been made show that Parasman (A1), Hendra (A9), Ferdinand (A4) are candidates for receiving surgical assistance in Siantar Narumonda District.

Abstract

This study discusses determining the best graduate students, the process of determining the best graduate students is a problem that involves many criteria that are assessed, so that a decision support system is needed to solve it. The process of determining the best graduate students at STMIK Neumann is still constrained because there is no effective method yet and the assessment criteria are only based on GPA scores. In designing this system, researchers used the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method as the weighting method used. The four basic criteria used are GPA, scientific writing, superior achievement/ability and English. The AHP method can display the value of the priority weight of criteria that can be used as an alternative to determine the best graduate students. The decision support system application for determining the best graduate students is made using a desktop-based programming language, namely Visual Basic 2010 and MySQL as the database. The system built is able to provide ranking recommendations from the number of values sorted by the highest weight. With this system, it is hoped that it can provide an alternative for decision makers to determine the best graduate students at STMIK Neumann.

Abstract

Data mining, which is referred to as knowledge discovery in databases (KDD), means the nontrival process of extracting implicit, previously unknown and useful information such as knowledge rules, descriptions, regularities, and major trends from large data bases. Data mining is developing in a multidisciplinary field, including database technology, machine learning, artificial intelligence, neural networks, information retrieval, and so on. K-Means is a non-hierarchical clustering method that tries to partition existing data into one or more clusters/groups. So that data that has the same characteristics and data that has different characteristics are grouped into other groups. The purpose of this research is to find out what types of insurance groups are most interested in based on their respective addresses, especially the city of Medan. The method used is group analysis with the K-Means method. As for the results of grouping the two variables, namely the type of insurance that is in great demand for the first place is the Planned Scholarship (D6) with a total of 10 and the second order is Dwiguna Prima (DP) with a total of 40 and for the third order is Lifetime Prima (WP) with a total of 50.

Abstract

The teacher has the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing and evaluating his students at school. Teachers are considered achievers because teachers have the ability to carry out their duties at school, are successful in carrying out assignments, have personalities that are in accordance with the teaching profession and have educational insights. A decision support system or Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that assists in making a decision in an organization or companies by applying methods that are appropriate to the areas of decision taken, manual decision making without the help of SPK will result in unobjective and imprecise assessments. The Moora method is a method for making decisions that have many criteria by applying weights to each criterion. The system created can help the school to determine aspects of assessment based on criteria according to the needs of the school so that it is more flexible.

Abstract

A computer device is all the physical parts of a computer, and is distinguished by the data that is in it or that operates on it, and is distinguished from software that provides instructions for the hardware in completing its tasks. So far, marketing is still constrained in terms of promotion and marketing of computer peripheral products. so that buyers still do not know what products are sold by a particular company or shop. Several shops and companies in the city of Medan also face problems in terms of the details of orders by buyers and ordering computer hardware products using only the telephone or face to face. Goods data collection is still conventional, namely by entering the data into a price list book, sales transaction book and so on. So that conducting transactions and entering data must open the sales transaction data book. In this study, the authors raised several companies engaged in the computer equipment business. And another obstacle is that sellers often experience problems in carrying out the process of promoting and selling computer equipment that has been ordered by customers. The process of submitting cooperation between sellers and suppliers is still done manually. The process of selling computer equipment to companies is done by Via Call.
