Publikasi jurnal ini dikelola oleh Prodi Arsitektur Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Periode penerbitan adalah 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Maret dan bulan September. Publikasi pertama direncanakan pada bulan September 2023. Semua naskah yang diterbitkan telah melalui proses pemeriksaan rekan sejawat. The journal publication was maintained by the Architecture Department at Muhammadiyah University of Palembang, Palembang, South Sumatra. The publishing period is twice a year, in March and September. The first publication will be in September 2023. All Articles manuscripts are published after a thorough peer-review process. Abstract

The people of Palembang city know Taman Kambang Iwak (fish pond) as a park for recreation, sports and social contact. Kambang Iwak is divided into two, namely the Kambang Iwak Besak Park (TKIB) and the Kambang Iwak Kecik Park (TKIK). Taman Kambang Iwak Kecik is behind the Taqwa grand mosque Palembang which has a pool that is ΒΌ the area of TKIB and has a green open space (RTH) which is quite small compared to TKIB. TKIK is surrounded by a 2.5 m wide pedestrian street that has many Tabebuya trees planted. With the fish pond and green open space, of course, the temperature and humidity of the environment affect the level of comfort in the room. Therefore this study aims to determine how much influence temperature and humidity have on the Taqwa Palembang Great Mosque. And descriptive analysis research method with an architectural approach. Data collection was carried out using Hobometers and anemometers. The data was analyzed by comparing it with the ASHRAE standard. It was found that the influence of temperature and humidity on TKIK had quite an effect on the level of comfort, especially during the day when the sun was hot which made the evaporation of the pool water enter the Raya Taqwa Mosque due to the wind blowing from the pool.

Abstract

Humans have limitations in their ability to carry out activities, so when they reach boredom, they have to look for other activities to replace their current routine, looking for something that can make them happy and help them forget about tiring routine activities. Golf is a great sport, but it requires patience and calm. Therefore, more precision is needed in addition to strong strength. When making the first shot, golfers often use their strength to aim longer to get closer to the green or hole. Golf can be played at the driving range, which is a place where golfers can practice their skills, or on a golf course, which is more often called a driving range. Apart from sports venues, there are facilities for bringing people together with shared interests and meeting for enjoyment. This design uses contemporary architecture as its theme. It is hoped that the design approach that is presently "trending" or being created will be the background for selecting the design theme. whatever is happening at the moment. Modernity is more fluid and not bound by era.

Abstract

A building that is sturdy, strong, secure, and effective must be designed according to building criteria from all structrural components, starting from columns, beams, floor plates, stairs, foundation, excavations, and basement structures. To build quality that meets the criteria from all aspects. Especially the building under study is a high level building that uses a rigid frame structure where the structure is a rigid connection that connect horizontal beams as well as vertical columns then connected to a plane. And all of this works together so that it is likely that this building meets the criteria for multi-story buildings and guarantees the strength of the building structure to meet its functional aspects.

Abstract

Rindang Cafe and Eatery Palembang is one of the cafes that applies the open concept. The use of this concept is expected to reduce artificial energy consumption, including lighting and ventilation, so as to ensure the comfort of a building. This research uses a quantitative approach that evaluates theory by explicitly measuring variables in the field. Opening area, temperature, and humidity were measured using a thermometer, hydrometer, and meter. This research uses a quantitative approach that evaluates theory by measuring variables explicitly in the field. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of thermal comfort in cafes that operate with different air conditioning and lighting conditions from afternoon to evening. This study shows that thermal comfort at Rindang Cafe and Eatery Palembang is strongly influenced by the layout of the air conditioning and lighting. The findings have important implications for the design of cafes and other open space facilities in areas with hot climates.

Abstract

In general, a mosque is a spiritual place for Muslims where a deep connection between human and Allah SWT is established. Upon entering the interior of the mosque, one often encounters ornaments that contribute to the beauty and aesthetic value of the mosque. However, it is not uncommon to find mosques that adopt minimalist and simple concepts to prioritize the primary function of the mosque itself. With the presence of these ornaments in the mosque, this research aims to inventory the ornaments found in 20 mosques in the Bukit Lama district, Palembang. The research methodology employed a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing both primary data (author's documents) and secondary data (images from Google Maps). The research findings reveal six commonly found ornaments in the 20 mosques, namely, the ? (Allah) inscription at 80%, the ? (Muhammad) inscription at 70%, Asmaul Husna ornaments at 20%, geometric patterns (mihrab) at 40%, minimalist patterns (mihrab) at 60%, and surah decorations on walls and similar areas reaching 60%.
