RESPON Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi diterbitkan oleh Program Studi (Prodi) Ilmu Komunikasi, Fakultas Sastra Universitas Muslim Indonesia. Penerbit hanya menerima karya asli, yang belum dipublikasikan di tempat lain. Artikel harus dikirimkan melalui situs ini sesuai dengan format kami. Artikel yang dikirim akan ditinjau dan diedit untuk keseragaman format, istilah, dan prosedur lainnya. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahui Objektivitas pemberitaan pada portal berita online Tribuntimur.com dalam memberitakan Virus Covid-19 periode Maret – Agustus 2021. Penelitian ini berlangsung kurang lebih selama satu bulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu, observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan tribuntimur.com sudah bahwa menerapkan objektivitas berita pada dimensi faktualitas yaitu pada unit analisis Pengukuran pertama dilihat dari kelengkapan unsur 5W+1H, enam pertanyaan ini harus ada dalam satu tubuh berita yang ditulis oleh wartawan. Dalam portal berita Tribuntimur.com ada 99 berita (73,9%) dari 134 berita yang ada. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Tribuntimur.com sudah memberikan informasi yang lengkap kepada pembaca dengan menggunakan unsur 5W+1H. Hal ini menunjukan juga bahwa dengan kecepatan para jurnalis menulis berita mereka tetap menggunakan unsur 5W+1H agar para pembaca mendapatkan informasi yang lengkap dan mendalam dalam setiap berita yang di publish

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: membahas mengenai persepsi konsumen terhadap komunikasi pemasaran pada McDonald’s cabang Pettarani Makassar. Penelitian ini berlangsung kurang lebih selama satu bulan dan berlokasi di McDonald’s cabang Pettarani Makassar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dan kuantatif analisis statistik deskriptif dengan proses pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, kusioner, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori marketing mix dan brand image. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsumen memberikan pesepsi yang positif terhadap komunikasi pemasaran yang diterapkan Mcdonald’s. Berdasarkan data, konsumen lebih tartarik pada produk 23.3% dan promosi 43.3%, selain itu pelayanan yang diberikan sudah cukup baik. McDonald’s telah menunjukkan identitasnya dan selalu memberikan beragam inovasi produk, kenyamanan dalam mengkonsumsi produk, dan kegiatan promosi gencar dengan visualisasi, juga memberikan manfaat berupa promo yang menarik sehingga menghasilkan brand image yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how parents' interpersonal communication patterns on children's learning motivation can be applied during the COVID-19 pandemic, both within the family and social interactions. This study uses qualitative research methods and is located in Makassar City, Tamalanrea Jaya Village, Tamalanrea District. Data collection is by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques as supporting materials in data collection. This research lasted for 1 month and as for the informants in this study amounted to 4 people The results showed that communication is a way to convey something to others in the form of ideas, facts, thoughts, and values. Communication between parents and children can provide motivation to learn so that it can improve children's learning achievement, but this cannot be separated from the role of teachers and parents who guide the learning process. Parents need to interact with children by communicating so that the relationship remains well established, that's why interaction is needed because it affects the relationship between parents and children, with the interaction of parents and children will be closer.

Abstract

Mass media is usually considered as the delivery of information. The essence of the function of the media as a messenger of information is news. News is a report about an event or opinion that chooses important, interesting value from some audiences. Events or opinions will not become news if they are not published through the mass media. In this case, the news raised in this study is the criminal news of sexual harassment cases in 2021 which aired on the iNews Sulsel television program, which will be analyzed by researchers using qualitative content analysis techniques, as well as collecting public responses about reporting cases of sexual harassment with qualitative descriptive methods. . The results of the study, it can be concluded that criminal news regarding cases of sexual harassment that aired on the South Sulawesi iNews television program in 2021 only broadcast one informant by focusing on police statements. And the audience has a response to the meaning of sexual violence based on the background of each informant, namely, parents, education, community/environment around them. Based on the audience's interpretation, the position of women in cases of sexual violence is a vulnerable party because women are considered as trigger objects. That is the important role of the media in providing information, especially regarding cases of sexual harassment so that it does not happen again or happens around us

Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to determine the implementation of the Public Relations function of the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province. (2) To determine the effectiveness of organizational communication in the public relations of the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province. The method used in this research is qualitative method. There were four informants in this study. This research lasted for one month and was located at the DPRD Office of the South-Sulawesi Province. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This research lasted for one month and took place at the South Sulawesi DPRD office. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Effectiveness of Organizational Communication in the Implementation of the Public Relations Function at the DPRD Office of the Province of South Sulawesi is effectively in accordance with the function of public relations, namely being trusted, supportive, open, paying attention, and actively asking for opinions, as well as giving awards for high performance standards. good. As well as in implementing the public relations function, the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province applies an online system and is very efficient to accommodate people's aspirations so that mutual communication occurs.

Abstract

The type of information submitted by PPID is information requested by the public while the information submitted by Public Relations is information related to activities and programs and things related to the needs of Hasanuddin University students. Media publicity is a publication tool used in disseminating information. This study aims to determine the role of Public Relations in utilizing the media publicity they have in this case is the Website unhas.ac.id and Instagram account with username @hasanuddin_univ regarding MBKM program information. This study uses descriptive qualitative approach, descriptive qualitative technique is a research method that utilizes qualitative data and described descriptively. The results showed that public relations of Hasanuddin University used their publicity media in disseminating information about the MBKM program in 2021. And also the message packaging strategy carried out by Hasanuddin University Public Relations can be considered satisfactory, by following the development of existing technology.

Abstract

This thesis aims to determine the role of Public Relations of the Indonesian Muslim University Makassar in the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) 2021 program, to determine the public communication strategy of the Public Relations of the Indonesian Muslim University Makassar in disseminating information through publicity media related to the MBKM Program. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method using the theory of cybernetic traditions, communication goals and excellence in public relations, by determining informants in a proposive manner, namely the Head of the Public Relations Section, Public Relations Practitioners and also students who act as target audiences of the publicity media. The results of this research show that the Public Relations of the Indonesian Muslim University of Makassar responds to the MBKM program and has a strategy on disseminating information through publicity media. The response given was divided into two, namely structurally and culturally, by adapting the MBKM program into curriculum integrity for students of the Indonesian Muslim University of Makassar, but it did not run optimally. The strategy carried out by the Public Relations and Protocol of UMI Makassar refers to G-P-A activities, namely Goals, Plans, and Actions. Keywords

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the perspective and meaning in the tradition of child birth in the Bugis community in Talaka Village, Pangkep Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method with as many as 4 (four) informants, namely traditional birth attendants and the general public who use the services of traditional birth attendants with data collection techniques carried out in two ways, namely, primary data and secondary data. The method of data collection by conducting observations, interviews, documentation. The results show that ritual communication is always identified with habits or routines, understands rituals as a hereditary action that also contains transcendental values, rituals have a relationship with voluntary performances that are carried out from generation to generation based on habits. As a sociocultural unit, the community has long had a set of traditional ceremonies. Until now they still maintain the values contained in the traditional ceremony. Considering that these ceremonies have spiritual and social functions, psychologically it can create peace of mind, feel safe and calm that can be felt in the heart.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the working mechanism of the Ujung Pandang Express Daily (Upeks) in determining the coverage issues that will be raised as Headline news and what are the factors that influence the determination of Headline news. The type of research used is qualitative research. This study uses two types of theories, namely the Agenda Setting Theory and the Hierarchy of Influence Theory. The results of this study concluded that the determination of Headline news before it was determined had to go through a working mechanism, namely 1). Editorial meeting, 2). Coverage, 3). Editing, 4) determination of news headlines. In addition, there are factors that influence the determination of headline news, namely internal factors and external factors. 1). Internal factors in the media relate to the interests of media owners, individual journalists as news seekers, media organization routines, 2). Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to find out the communication patterns of the Makassar government in the Covid-19 pandemic management program. (2) To learn about the media use of the Makassar government’s “covid19.go.id” website in the Covid-19 pandemic management program. The method used in this research is qualitative method. There were four informants in this study. This research lasted for one month and was located at the office of Communications and Informatics. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the government of Makassar played a significant role in the handling and service of Covid-19 information through digital an non digital communication patterns in which notifications are digitally provided via websites, whatsapp social media, instagram, facebook and social media. Non digital, it is to encourage the community to use masks, wash their hands and sosial distancing
