Artikel-artikel di dalam MEJORA mencakup beragam topik, seperti telemedicine, aplikasi kesehatan digital, manajemen data kesehatan elektronik, pemberdayaan pasien dalam pengambilan keputusan kesehatan, implementasi alat wearable untuk pemantauan kesehatan, serta analisis big data dalam meramalkan tren penyakit. Jurnal ini juga menyoroti isu-isu etika terkait privasi data, keamanan informasi kesehatan, serta kesenjangan akses teknologi di berbagai lapisan masyarakat. Abstract

Self-care is carried out to maintain health, both physically and psychologically. The purpose of this study is to find out how the relationship between self-care and body image in STIKes Mahardika Cirebon nursing students. every person who does self-care starts from the physical appearance he has giving an image or perception of body shape, then moving on to the physical appearance that belongs to others this is what is called body image. This research method uses descriptive correlation using a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was in STIKes mahardika nursing students totaling 154 respondents using Accidental sampling techniques. The instruments used are questionnaires . The results of the study were obtained sufficient self-care (55.8%), and negative body image (43.5%). After the statistical test, a p value of 0.004 ≤ 0.05 was obtained, which means that there is a significant relationship between self-care and body image in STIKes Mahardika Cirebon nursing students

Abstract

Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a medical condition in which the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the oxygen and nutrient requirements of all body tissues. CHF risks deviations in basic human needs such as ineffective airway clearance, decreased cardiac output, hypervolemia, and others. Patients with CHF became the second largest cause of death in Indonesia in 2019 after stroke, with a doctor-diagnosed prevalence of 1.5% or 1,017,290 residents. The purpose of this case study is to provide nursing care to patients with a diagnosis of CHF. Using a qualitative approach with case studies as the main method, using observation sheets, interviews, and documentation studies. The case study took a patient as the subject of study, namely a patient with a diagnosis of CHF in the Emergency Room, Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City. Nursing care management is based on meeting the needs of patients carried out in 1x5 hours. The results of the case study showed that after being given nursing care there was an increase in the effectiveness of airway clearance, increased cardiac output, and improved fluid balance. The conclusion is that nursing care is effective for CHF patients in meeting patient needs.

Abstract

Hemorrhagic stroke is caused by bleeding into the brain tissue (intracerebral hemorrhage) and the space around the brain. This condition causes sufferers to experience sudden severe headaches, decreased level of consciousness, increased intracranial pressure, and neurological deficits such as hemiplegia, hemiparesis, aphasia, and apraxia. The aim of this study was to describe nursing care for Mr. T patients with a medical diagnosis of hemorrhagic stroke in the Teratai room at Waled Hospital, Cirebon Regency. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with case studies as the main method. The subject is Mr. T. The case study was conducted in the Teratai Room at Waled Hospital, Cirebon Regency from 30 November 2023 to 02 December 2023. The data collection methods used were through observation, interviews and analysis of documents such as patient medical records. The nursing problems that arise in this case are ineffective breathing patterns, decreased intracranial adaptive capacity, impaired physical mobility, risk of impaired skin/tissue integrity. The conclusion of the research was that after 3 days of treatment, the nursing problem of ineffective breathing patterns, decreased intracranial adaptive capacity, and impaired physical mobility had not been resolved so the intervention was still continued, while the nursing problem of risk of skin/tissue integrity disorders was partially resolved so that the intervention was still continued as stated. has been planned.

Abstract

Hemorrhagic stroke is a type of stroke caused by rupture of blood vessels in the brain, resulting in bleeding in the brain. The main risk factor that can influence a stroke is hypertension. This study aims to provide a picture of the implementation of nursing care for patients with hemorrhagic stroke using a nursing process approach. This research uses qualitative methods. The type of case study used in this research is a prospective case study. This research was carried out at RSD Gunung Jati, Cirebon City, precisely in the ICU room on March 1 2024. Data collection techniques were through observation, interviews and Further documentation studies use data analysis. After providing nursing care to the patient with management of hemodynamic stability for 3 x 24 hours, given therapy, the results showed that the patient’s blood pressure was stable 150/95mmhg, the patient’s consciousness was sopor GCS 6 and the muscle strenght of the right upper lower extremity was 0 in the patient’s.

Abstract

Background : Diabetes Mellitus is a disease in the form of increased bllod glucose levels or what is usually called hyperglycemia that exceeds normal limits. This condition results from a decrease in insulin secretion which occurs due to dysfunction in the pancreas, decreased insulin sensitivity, or both. Objective : To determine the effectiveness of using honey for wound healing in diabetes mellitus patients. Method : The research uses case studies as the main method, using observation sheets, interviews, and documentation studies. The patient was managed for 3 days at RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon. Results : The type used was natural honey, by applying honey to the wound, it showed changes in the wound and accelerated wounds healing. Conclusion : Using honey on diabetes mellitus wound can speed up healing

Abstract

Hand hygiene is a term for cleaning hands. The World Health Organization formulated an innovative strategy for implementing hand hygiene, namely for health workersin five moments of hand hygiene, namely before contact with patients, before carrying out nursing actions, after exposure to patient body fluids, after contact with patients, and after contact with the environment. The aim for this research is that researchers want to observe and describe the implementation of five moment hand hygiene among nurses.The number of samples in this study was 18 nurses in the Jimbaran ward at Sumber Kasih Hospital, Cirebon. Data collection carried out by researchers in managing this case study included observation,interviews and documentation studies.The research results showed that 11 respondents (61,11%) had poor implementation of five moment hand hygiene and 7 respondents (38.89%) had good implementation of five moment hand hygiene. The conclusion is that the implementation of five moment hand hygiene is not good due to the lack of knowledge and awareness of nurses about the benefits of five moment hand hygiene and the impacts caused when it is not implemented.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and attacks the lower respiratory tract. The purpose of this study was to provide nursing care to patients with ineffective airway clearance due to Pulmonary TB in the Emergency Room of Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City with a case study approach. This type of research uses a descriptive case study approach. The sample consisted of one person who experienced an emergency due to a medical diagnosis of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the Emergency Room of Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City. Data collection was carried out through nursing assessment with anamnesis, physical examination and documentation study. The results of the study showed that the patient was in the green triage, ineffective airway clearance as a priority nursing diagnosis, the patient was given airway management and oxygen 6 npm nasal cannula. Nursing evaluation showed that airway clearance was still ineffective and the patient was treated in the inpatient room. The emergency team needs to carry out complementary therapy in collaborative care for chronic patients.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a disease in the form of increased blood glucose levels or commonly called hyperglycemia that exceeds normal limits. This study uses a case study method with female patient respondents aged 38 years with a medical diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews (interview results contain the identity of the client, main complaints, history of current and past diseases), observation and physical examination. This research was carried out in the HCU Room of Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City for 3 days (March 11, 2024 – March 13, 2024). the results of a case study in patients with diabetes mellitus obtained a nursing diagnosis there was a wound in the left leg area, during nursing care for 3 days it was found that the problem was resolved so that the intervention was stopped. based on the results of the evaluation of the wound problem in the left leg area in the patient can be resolved.

Abstract

Completeness of medical records is important because it influences the service process provided by health workers and has an impact on the quality of service in a hospital. A medical record containing a medical resume is said to be complete if it is filled 100%. This research is an observational study and uses a cross sectional design. The sample to determine the completeness of the outpatient medical record resume was 53 documents and to determine the factors that influence the completeness of the outpatient medical resume, namely all doctors at Sumber Waras Hospital were 53 people. The results of this research were that outpatient medical resumes were 24 documents complete and 29 documents were incomplete. For the completeness knowledge variable, a p value of 0.025 was obtained. (0.025 < 0.05), then knowledge influences the completeness of the medical resume, on the attitude variable with a completeness p value of 0.027. (0.027 < 0.05), then attitude influences the completeness of the medical resume, and for the behavior and completeness variables, a p value of 0.025 is obtained. (0.025 < 0.05) then behavior influences the completeness of a medical resume.

Abstract

Basic human needs are elements needed by every human being to maintain life and health, one of which is the need to feel safe and comfortable. The need for security or safety is a need to protect oneself from physical danger. Security, often defined as a state of being free from physical and psychological harm, is a basic human need that must be met. Security is a physiological need where a person can feel free from discomfort. The research aims to provide nursing care to improve the client's health status. The research method used is a descriptive method with a case study approach. The results include the process of assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. After providing nursing care to the client, Mrs. W obtained the results of changes in health status which improved including no pain, no grimaces, the client looked calm and the client was allowed to go home. Implementation of nursing care for patients with disorders in fulfilling basic needs, safe and comfortable for clients, Mrs. W between theory and case is appropriate. This can be proven in the application of theory to clients
