Abstract

Abstract. The north coast road is the main route that connects several provinces, cities, and regencies on the north coast of Java. The road is traversed by many heavy vehicles loaded with goods, so there is the potential for frequent violations caused by excessive loads. Given these problems, this study aims to determine the effect of excessive load on heavy vehicles on decreasing road life. The data used are primary and secondary data, primary data in the form of photos of observations at the Subah Weighbridge and interviews with the head of the Subah Weighbridge, secondary data in the form of actual vehicle weight data from the Subah Weighbridge, LHR, and road age from the National Road Planning Center. Central Java – DI Yogyakarta, then calculate the percentage value of VDF due to overload and decrease in the design life of the road using the vehicle damage factor value using the Bina Marga method (1987).The results of this study indicate that excessive load on heavy vehicles can affect the decrease in road design life. With the actual overload that occurred on Jalan Pantura KM 11 to KM 21, Batang Regency, the cumulative VDF increase based on the Bina Marga method (1987) was 2.63%. The decrease in design life due to actual overload based on the Bina Marga method (1987) was 0.04 years.

Abstract

Abstract. The need for buildings for various activities is increasing from time to time, the rapid construction of new buildings is generally not accompanied by an increase in maintenance and maintenance activities. Therefore, building maintenance is very important after the building is completed. To clean buildings, many methods are used to clean one of them is the rope access method, therefore in this analysis the researcher will look for the productivity of building cleaning using the rope access method, besides that researchers also have to observe how the procedures for installing safety equipment are used by workers. in the rope access method. To determine work productivity, researchers use the time study method to determine the time needed by workers to complete a job, then researchers will compare the value of worker productivity with the scaffolding method. After the researcher conducted the research, the researcher had data in the form of time which was then converted into m2/person/day. After that, researchers will find out how much the productivity ratio of each of these methods is. After recording the time value and converting it to m2/person/day, the result was found to be more productive using the rope access method because judging from the results of the researcher, it was found that the scaffolding work took longer because the higher the building, the longer the process of work and scaffolding installation. therefore,Keywords: Productivity of Building Glass Cleaning Jobs Using the Rope Access Method.

Abstract

In the planning of a project, there have to be a time schedule that can served as a guideline in the project, this shows that scheduling can influence the activity of a project. A good time schedule in a project can make project run effectively and efficiently, but in reality the actual work of a project did not always go as planned. In this case, the construction of library of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. In the process of construction of library of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, there is a delay that caused by a lot of factors, resulting in a delay of 49 days, the project initial duration is 154 days but the implementation duration is 203 days. Because of this, an analysis was carried out on this matter to determine what caused this lateness on project scheduleFrom the analysis that has been done the result is that the project lateness is caused in preparation work and the usage of work system with 3 shift but using the same man power. Factors of this lateness is caused by the owner, the conctractor, and weather disturbance.

Abstract

Unsignalized intersection Jl. Raya Cangkiran - Jl Cangkiran Gunung Pati, Tambangan kec.Mijen, Semarang is a three-way intersection that has access to the Cupan Terminal. Many people pass through this intersection. In conditions at these intersections, traffic jams occur during rush hours, and there is no traffic light which makes traffic conditions even more irregular, the safety of motorists is also threatened. Therefore, this study was carried out to analyze unsignalized intersections, planning the use of traffic lights, and knowing the traffic characteristics of Jl. Raya Cangkiran - Jl. Gunungpati Cup, Semarang. Data collection was carried out for 3 days, namely Saturday 25 February 2023, Monday 27 February 2023, and Wednesday, 1 March 2023 by taking peak hours at 06.00 WIB - 08.00 WIB, 12.00 WIB - 13.00 WIB, and 16.00 WIB - 18.00 WIB. Data collection methods used are capacity, degree of saturation, delays, queue opportunities, and Traffic Signaling Devices (APILL). The performance analysis of this unsignalized intersection uses the 1997 Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI) to calculate the degree of saturation. As for the level of service using the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 96 PM 2015. The results of the research are that in the existing conditions, alternative B is chosen as the best alternative for planning traffic lights with 2 phases of the 1-hour peak scenario on Saturday morning with a degree of saturation of 0.823 pcu/hour, a queue length of 103,045 m on the West approach, and a value delay of 14,784 veh/sec. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the results of calculating the traffic evaluation for the current conditions obtained that the highest vehicle volume occurred on Monday, 27 February 2023. Then Jl. Raya Cangkiran – Boja, Semarang, fulfills the criteria for installing traffic lights and needs to install traffic lights or traffic control lights. As well as from the 3 planned alternatives, alternative B was chosen to install a 2-phase traffic signal light.

Abstract

The south Pacitan district's coastal area in Indonesia has become a tourist place because of the more beach with captivating coral. However, that area's natural resources have not altered the function of construction material. Many research uses the coral reef to admixture concrete material in other countries that affect compressive strength. In this research, the coral reef from Pacitan modified the original dimension of fine aggregate for material substitute o to become the coral sand of fine aggregate with the different material characteristics from other coastal areas. The sample variation was created into four categories, and five samples in every category were concrete without coral sand or 0% coral sand content, 75% with coral sand, 85% with coral sand, and 90% with coral sand. All samples were tested when the concrete age was achieved 28 days after immersing for 14 days, so the concrete was in the maximum setting time condition. The result shows that the percentage effectiveness of coral sand content is 75% as fine aggregate substitution by increasing the compressive is 15.24%, however higher coral sand content causes the decrease until 27.12% to concrete without coral sand, this result can effect by the material characteristic of coral sand when changing the dimension
