Abstract

The Metal Crafters in Pasuruan City who are members of the Indonesian Prosperous (PASINDO) oversees about 300 UMKM of metal. Partners taken by machining and casting groups and packing groups. Metal Craftsman Company manages the management manually, if there is ordering according to job order recorded in big book and finance is not set. Factors in focusing assistance to metal craftsmen under the auspices of Pasindo is knowledge of management information technology and marketing to increase sales. Output targets implemented include conducting financial management and marketing training, operationalizing application systems, entry training and data updating in databases, as well as providing order management training through e-commerce application systems. Method offered approach Metal business unit as seller and buyer based on information technology include: Observation on business partners, designing and making e- commerce application system, and training to Partners. Retail data for 14 months before using a Web-based sales application on a sample of 30 products generated a net profit of Rp. 5,120,000. Sales for 2 months after using the Web application generated a net profit of Rp. 4,356,000. It experienced an increase in profit of Rp. 1,812,286 every month after using a Web-based sales app (E-Commerce).

Abstract

In general, people think of waste as a useless item, not as a resource that can be utilized. The waste management model "collected-transported, and disposed of" will have an adverse impact on the environment around the landfill. To achieve optimal waste management, there must be a new breakthrough in waste management. The purpose of this research is to know the optimum of waste management effort by procurement of garbage bank in Krajan Sub-district of Madiun Regency through the assistance activity to the society with ABCD pattern is one approach in community service. This approach emphasizes empowerment and asset development in the community. In implementing ABCD-based programs, we are obliged to explore the availability of social assets owned by the community. The synchronization between the availability of social assets and our work program is the determinant of the success of ABCD. From the waste management activities by the community we have accompanied is quite encouraging, at the first launch of a garbage bank named "Natuna" runs well. Many kelurahans participated in this activity and also deposited garbage to Natuna waste bank. Finally, garbage transport on the first day went smoothly and managed to haul in a sorted pickup truck .

Abstract

The closure of the localization of Dolly has issues of its own for the surrounding community or communities affected. This is due to the lack of the skills possessed by the localization community around, causing the decline in family income. Through the activities of the service are expected to improve the skills of the community affected and its revenues. Activities include training in entrepreneurship, dedication to the creation of creative effort, packaging, processing of catfish into a dumpling, nugget and mince. The selection of catfish as a base material because the Catfish is easy to get, cheap and easily cultivated by rural communities as well as urban areas. In addition to the fish is a very good protein for growing children and also adults because of low colesterol. Training activities are conducted four times by way of direct practice so that they really can do it yourself after you finish training. In an effort to increase revenue, after completion of the training the participants were required to produce and sell it as well as do mentoring. Thus the process of evaluation and monitoring will help affected communities business growth.

Abstract

Participatory development planning and gotong royong in encouraging the strengthening of village officials and empowering rural community through innovation of development planning policy based on the concept of Rembug, Plan, Realization and Rawat is a grand design of development planning by placing society as center of development as well as actor has a major role in village development planning by prioritizing local resources and potential based on local wisdom. The main focus of this dedication is to provide socialization and mentoring both theoretical and practical in the development of the concept of development planning policy based on the concept of 4R namely Rembug, Plan, Realization and Rearing which aims to empower and improve community skills in preparing development planning with priority resources and local potential which are owned. The method used is participatory village assessment and Participatory Learning and Action by emphasizing on the 4R concept of rembug, plan, realization and care. Based on the results obtained from the mentoring are: 1) Cilangkap Village community as a community service partner has a great response and enthusiasm in the process of mentoring development planning. This can be seen from the number of community attendance in the village meeting villagers with an average attendance of 60% of the total number of households in each village; 2) As one of the villages that are still relatively poor, the community's enthusiasm in following the mentoring program needs to be appreciated as part of the community's awareness of the importance of development designed from, by and for the community; 3). The ability of the community to design the development planning through the formation of development planning organizations, independent village survey activities and rembug activities, plans, realiation and care can be run well although with all the limitations owned but not reduce the substance of the growth process of community empowerment and community motivation in the development planning activities.

Abstract

Partners in this people empowerment program was KPD Leprosy Sumber Waras. Self Care Group (KPD) Sumber Waras is a group of leprosy patients or who have recovered from leprosy, which was initiated by Centre Public Healthy at Slahung District, Ponorogo city, East Java. The problems faced by partners were social and economic problems. The purpose of these people empowerment program was after this program the members of KPD skillfully to making compost and MOL (local microorganisms) independently. Futhermore, would improve the economy side of leprosy KPD members. Stages of activities undertaken in this program included pre- implementation stage that were 1) Socialization 2) Preparation tools and materials. The second stage was the implementation stage including: 1) Composting material 2) Material and practice of making the MOL. From this program, it could be concluded that 1) Partners have understood the material of composting and MOL 2) Partners have been able to make MOL 3) These people empowerment activities have been able to overcome the problems of partners.

Abstract

Individual wishing a happy marriage, this can be achieved with effort and hard work. One effort that can be done to achieve a happy marriage is to have the right information about married life, thereby can bring up individual awareness that not always marriage is happy, and not always marriage always faces problems. The existence of premarital knowledge will make the individual has readiness in the face of the dynamics of marriage, more able to accept the reality of marriage life and can improve the quality of marriage. This dedication was held in January-March 2017. As for prenuptial psychological counseling process was done by preparing the module book containing the material related to the marriage life that would be discussed and discussed in the mentoring process in the guidance counseling session. The location of the research took place at RW 1 Keluahan. Jambangan Surabaya. These mentoring groups were five prospective Muslim couples who would be married within a period of <6 months and between 6-12 months. The result of this mentoring was that the preparation of prenuptial psychological preparation for Muslim couples was one of the right ways to help the stability of prospective couples before marriage. Through the mentoring that used of module books and counseling process, could facilitate the prospective couples in opening insights about the marriage life, so that it could formulate how the family settings they would build.

Abstract

Community empowerment is a government program that is currently being promoted to create a creative society by recognizing the potential and existing problems surrounding the environment by exploiting local potential. One of the community empowerment efforts that is conducted by the PKM team of Public Relations Program of Fikom Unpad is through the training for community empowerment through the introduction of visual communication to design products to be more inviting and attract attention. The participants in this training consisted of youth leaders, community leaders, and village officials in terms of understanding about community empowerment through creative potential based on local creative training. Objects of activities of these institutions and figures were chosen because they are an important part of formal human resource management that exists in every village government as an element of supporting development activities in the real sector. The implementation method starts from the Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation Stage. Implementation using lecture method discussion.

Abstract

Agarwood is a kind of fragrant wood which used as raw material in parfume industry, cosmetics, and medicine. Agarwood was formed by infected of fungy to several species from plant of genus Acquillaria. Farmer groups (Gapoktan Alam Jaya Lestari and Poktan Air Pasir Maju) are partners involved in this program. Both of these farmers groups had problems in availability of inoculant and the expensive price of inoculant. Besides, group farmers havenot known well of inoculatuion techniques. This program was conducted by Participation Action Researh (PAR). Fungi inoculant propagation were practiced in a simple way using potato and sugar as raw materials. Both of partners were very passionate on inoculant training activities, even farmers wanted to try to make inoculants of various materials which avalaible at their sourrounding. On the inoculation techniques, spiral method using both liquid and powders inoculants were injected to gaharu plant. Farmers were trained drafting technique as alternative product of agarwood such as tasbeeh. In addition, farmers trained to calculate a profit of agarwood product. To be independent farmer group, Poktan Air Pasir Maju still needs to be trained further because of their strong willingness to develop agarwood but still lacking skill.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of housewives from the fishermen’s wife in Gisik Cemandi Village. This was intended to increase family income by innovating, creativity in utilizing local wisdom owned by the village. The methods used in this community development were counseling, training, and mentoring. The training involved 30 housewives and housewives were divided into 6 groups. After counseling and training on another day, it was useful to evaluate the results of previous counseling and training. The results of this counseling and training were participants getting the knowledge, skills in making fish crackers. In addition, there was awareness of the trainee in entrepreneurship by utilizing marine products to increase income that impact on improving family welfare. The value of this dedication could be developed into a home industry if done intensive assistance with various ABDIMAS programs.

Abstract

School yard is the most appropriate learning media to support learning creativity for learners. The narrow use of school yard has not been well implemented, so that the students' ignorance towards the environment is closely related to the decreasing environmental quality in schools. To improve the quality of education and learning achievement of learners about environmental knowledge, school can provide a direct understanding to learners about the environment by applying the concept of vertical garden in the yard of the school. Vertical concept of this garden becomes an alternative way in getting around the yard or narrow land. The school plays an important role in this devotion program at the time of making the garden vertical garden, where the school proposes the implementation of maintenance activities and planting new plant species in the annual plan of SDN 34 Kota Ternate. Socialization and workshops that have been done with the school together with community service team, it can provide an early description of the use of a narrow school yard by applying the garden vertical garden. Another target of this program is that students and teachers feel the benefits of this school park in classroom learning, so that they can apply the concept of farming obtained for the home.
