Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the financial feasibility and sensitivity level of tofu agroindustry Mr. Henry in Pandan Wangi Village Indragiri Hulu Regency. This study uses case study method and the number of respondents at agroindustry Mr. Henry in Pandan Wangi Village Indragiri Hulu Regency. The financial feasibility analysis of tofu agroindustry using investment criteria, such as: Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B / C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). The result of the research shows that agroindustry business is feasible to be developed based on its investment criteria, which shows that NPV (positive) is Rp.121.502.767, Net B / C is 4.72 (Net B / C> 1), IRR is 89.97 % (IRR> DF 12%), and PP for 3 years 3 months, which means the business has been able to cover the investment cost before the end of business. Sensitivity analysis can be concluded that soybean increasing price by 4% effort still feasible because NPV (positive), Net B / C> 1, IRR> 12%, and PP for 7 years, while at soybean price rose by 5% and 61%, Business is not feasible because NPV (negative), Net B / C <1, IRR = 12%, and PP cannot cover investment cost before the end of business. A 10% reduction in production scale business is not feasible because NPV (negative), Net B / C <1, IRR <12%, and PP cannot cover the investment cost before the end of the business ends.

Abstract

Pineapple is the most widely cultivated commodity in Dumai City. The problem faced is the simultaneous harvest which caused the price of pineapple to drop drastically. To overcome this by making pineapple in order to get added value. The development of the current consumption pattern of the community makes the opportunity and threat to the development of pineapple dodol agroindustry in Dumai City. This study aims to analyze the development of pineapple dodol agroindustry in Dumai City as well as to know the amount of profit, efficiency and added value. One effort to know the right strategy for the development of pineapple dodol agroindustry is SWOT analysis. In the SWOT analysis, there are internal environmental analyzes that are Strength and Weakness and external environment analysis that is Opportunity and Threats. SWOT analysis shows that pineapple dodol agroindustry of Dumai City in quadrant I is a favorable situation. Agroindustry has the opportunity and power so that it can take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy adopted under these conditions is to support an aggressive growth policy.The results showed the average production of pineapple dodol agroindustry of Dumai City amounted to 60.67 kg per month with a profit of Rp.2.003,847,86 per month. Efficiency of business to get value RCR> 1 is 1.78 which means that this agroindustry profitable if passed. While the added value of each kilogram of pineapple is Rp. 29,579.45. SWOT analysis shows that pineapple dodol agroindustry of Dumai City in quadrant I is a favorable situation. Agroindustry has the opportunity and power so that it can take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy adopted under these conditions is to support an aggressive growth policy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interests and performance and also satisfaction of consumers Hanum cassava crackers in Pangean District. The method used in this research was the Importance And Performance Analysis (IPA) and the Consumers Satisfaction Index (CSI) analysis. The average results obtained from the level of importance that is equal to 103.40 with the criterion score of importance, and the level of performance that is equal to 97.40 with the score criteria satisfied. And the result of satisfaction or consumer satisfaction index of cassava crackers was 81.20%, where this value was in the range of consumer satisfaction index of 75% -100% which  the criteria score was very satisfied. Based on the Cartesian diagram, in quadrant I. Quadrant II means atribute are considered important and have good performance, and there are 3 attributes occupying this quadrant namely the price, taste and cleanliness. In quadrant III (low priority) means consumers feel less important but the atribute can still be improved the performance,  there are 2 attributes that occupy on it, namely the aroma and size attributes. Quadrant IV means excessive, where it was assumed that the level of importance was low but the level of performance was high. There were no attributes occupying on this quandrant.

Abstract

The objectives of the research are: (1) analyze the performance of extension workers from (Competence, Roles, Independence, and Social) (2) analyze the level of empowerment independence of farmer. The research conducted in Indragiri Hilir regency Kempas, Batang Tuaka and Keritang district. Samples taken with population and purposive sampling, with 156 independent smallholder sample from farmer group and  42  sample from agricultural extension. Data analysis used likert scale. Conclusion (1) The performance of extension worker who has been running in the field of rice farming business in Indragiri Hilir regency has been running "Good". Already carrying out the task of counseling with its own ability, the indicators that affect the performance as a role (2) Level empowerment of rice farmers in Indragiri Hilir regency after the overall performance of agricultural extension in the category "Power" has been running well, indicators that affecting human resources. The independence of rice farmers in Indragiri Hilir Regency has good overall extension performance in the "Independence" category. Indicators that greatly affect Social Self-reliance.

Abstract

This study aims was analyze the marketing mix that influences consumer purchasing decisions O’Chicken, Analyzing the relationship between the marketing mix of consumer purchasing decisions O’Chicken. This research using purposive sampling method with the respondents of the study amounted to 50 respondents who have aged > 15 years, shop at O’Chicken more than 1 times. The data were analyzed using Likert scale, validity test, reliability test and Cartesian diagram. The results showed that of the five marketing mix variables, all of which are in the category of "influential". Cartesian diagram analysis shows consumer evaluation based on the level of interest expected by consumers. Quadrant I there is no variable in it, quadrant II which included in that is product and price variable is factor which is considered important for consumer, quadrant III there is promotion variable and location that felt less important for consumer, quadrant IV variable which included in that is service considered exaggerated for consumer but very satisfying. It is recommended that the O'Chicken should improve the marketing mix such as: product, price, place, promotion, service, and evaluate consumer expectation in accordance with the level of importance that has been analyzed using katesius diagram so that consumers will continue to shop and not switch to the fried chicken brand competitors

Abstract

This study is aimed to know: (1) the motivation level of broiler breeder of contract farming in Pekanbaru city, (2) the level of satisfaction of broiler breeder in contract farming in Pekanbaru, (3) the level of entrepreneur's breeder behavior broiler farming pattern (contract farming) in Pekanbaru city and (4) analyze the influence of motivation and satisfaction on entrepreneur’s breederbehavior broiler farming pattern (contract farming) in Pekanbaru city. This study uses secondary data and primary data, secondary data obtained from the central statistical agency, the primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents using convenience sampling technique. Data analysis is qualitative and quantitative, qualitative data is Likert-scale interpretation and multiple linear regression interpretation with SPSS 23 include: coefficient of determination, F test, and t test. In the motivation variable, Likert scale results show the value of motivation score is 3.69, it shows that breeders feel motivated in partnering. The value of satisfaction score is 3.63 which means in partnership of breeders included in the category of satisfaction. As for the behavioral variables obtained the average score is 3.25 indicates that the breeder is in the category quite capable in doing business. Multiple linear regression results show that the coefficient of determination is 0.742, meaning 74.2 percent of motivation and satisfaction relationships affect the behavior of broiler breeders, while the remaining 25.8 percent is influenced by other variables outside the equation model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the economic productivity of labor and technical productivity of oil palm harvester at PT Cerenti Subur and to determine how much influence social and economic factors of age, number of dependents, work experience, ethnicity, education level, and incentive / premium on labor productivity of oil palm harvester at PT. Cerenti Subur at Kuantan Singingi District. The analytical method used is the method of Mathematical and multiple linear regression analysis. Results obtained showed that the economic productivity of labor in the oil palm harvest of PT. Cerenti has an average of IDR 146 133 per day and average technical productivity is of 2,474 Kg per day. The relationship between labor productivity of harvester in PT. Cerenti has a significant effect on labor productivity with a significant F test of 0.000 and has R square value of 0.919 which means that relationship between productivity factor of age, number of dependents, work experience, ethnicity, level of education and incentives is 91.9% while the rest 8.1% of labor productivity of oil palm harvester at PT Cerenti were influenced by other factors which  were not included in the models studied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) find out marketing function and marketing channel of cassava, (2) analyze cost, margin, efficiency marketing and farmer share of cassava. The method used in this research is survey method with technique of sample selection by Random Sampling method. Technique of marketing institution by Snowball Sampling method. The result showed there is two marketing channel, channel I is farmer-collecting merchants-consumer and  channel II is farmer-home industry. The result of this research showed that the marketing cost in channel I is Rp 48,59 and in  channel II is Rp. 27,00. Efficiency marketing in I channel is 1,62% and channel II is 1,57% that means channel II is more efficient. Margin is in channel I. Farmer share channel I is 56,27% and channel II is 100%.

Abstract

Indonesia is the biggest gambier export country in the world. Kapur IX subdistrict is the largest gambier production (40,20%) in lima puluh kota regency, especially in west sumatra, mean while gambier become main job for most of people in the regional. The purpose of the research is to analyze function, duct, cost, profit, margin, level market efficient, and the advantage for gambier farmers, analyze the market problem in nagari sialang kapur IX district lima puluh kota regency. The location of research use purposive sampling is nagari sialang which center of gambier production. Respondent of the research is gambier farmers and all of marketing institution in gambier marketing. Result of the research shows gambier marketing function such as exchange function, physical function, and facility and two gambier marketing ducts; marketing ducts I (76,67%) farmers sell to the collector, then sell to big seller, and marketing duct II (23,33%) farmer sell to the big sell. Cost of duct I is Rp 6.332/kg, profit is Rp 21.775/kg, margin Rp 28.087/kg efficient level is 7,63% and for farmer Rp 54.578/kg. Marketing cost of duct II is RP 3.734/kg, profit Rp 11.123/kg, margin Rp 14.857/kg, level efficient is 4.95%, for farmer is Rp 60.163. The problem in marketing of gambier is  mixture of fertilizer for planting gambier, fluctuation price of gambier, bad quality of gambier.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know how the structure of income, consumption patterns and welfare and know the dominant factors that affect the pattern of household consumption of vegetable farmers in Siak District. The purpose of this study will be answered by analyzing the income structure, logistic regression method and poverty line approach. Based on the results of the analysis obtained the largest source of income comes from work income is vegetable farming. For the consumption of household expenditures, the largest expenditure made for non-food needs is greater than food expenditure. This indicates that households of vegetable farmer in Siak Regency are classified as prosperous. The dominant factors affecting the consumption pattern of household food of vegetable farmers are income, the number of family members and health investment. Thus, to improve the prosperity of households of vegetable farmers, it is necessary to increase household income by improving cultivation techniques and increasing farmers' selling price and knowledge. Besides that, there should be extension about the importance of education and counseling about family planning program to minimize household food expenditure of vegetable farmers.
