Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged e-commerce platforms to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based personalization marketing to enhance customer experience and maintain competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the role of AI-based personalization marketing on customer satisfaction and its impact on repurchase intention in the Indonesian e-commerce industry. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed, using primary data collected through an online questionnaire from 200 respondents who have experience with personalized recommendations on e-commerce platforms, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that AI-based personalization marketing significantly influences customer satisfaction, which in turn has a positive effect on repurchase intention, while also acting as a mediating variable between the two constructs. These results suggest that effective personalization strategies can enhance consumer satisfaction and strengthen long-term purchasing behavior. This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence in the Indonesian context and offers practical implications for e-commerce practitioners in optimizing AI-driven marketing strategies.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed the culinary industry into a platform-based online ecosystem where competition is increasingly intense and consumer switching behavior is relatively high. In this context, brands are required not only to compete on functional aspects such as price and promotion, but also to build meaningful emotional connections with consumers through digital interactions. This study aims to analyze the role of digital emotional branding in enhancing consumer loyalty in the platform-based online culinary industry and to examine the mediating role of emotional attachment in this relationship. A mixed methods sequential explanatory design was employed, involving a quantitative survey of 250 active platform users analyzed using SEM-PLS, followed by in-depth interviews with 12 selected informants to enrich the interpretation of findings. The results indicate that digital emotional branding has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty, both directly and indirectly through emotional attachment as a mediating variable. These findings demonstrate that emotionally oriented digital strategies strengthen psychological bonds and long-term commitment in competitive platform environments. This study contributes theoretically by integrating digital branding and emotional attachment into a comprehensive model and offers practical implications for culinary businesses in designing more engaging and sustainable digital branding strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of a wood charcoal business in Wanareja Village, Rimbo Ulu Subdistrict, Tebo Regency based on business aspects and investment indicators. This research is motivated by the high economic potential and the increasing demand for wood charcoal as an alternative energy source. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations to obtain primary data, as well as business records for secondary data. The results showed that the wood charcoal business is highly feasible to run. This feasibility is evidenced by a Net Present Value (NPV) of IDR 298,290,994.33, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 43.305%, a Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) of 14.69, and a relatively short Payback Period of 1 month and 4 days. This study contributes to the development of literature on local resource-based business feasibility analysis and provides practical implications for business actors and local governments as a basis for making investment and business development decisions.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of environmental disclosure quality on the value of Indonesian publicly listed companies. The research applies an explanatory quantitative approach using panel data obtained from annual reports, sustainability reports, and stock market information of non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021–2024 period. The final sample consists of 42 companies with 168 firm-year observations from manufacturing, mining, and energy sectors. Environmental disclosure quality is measured using a content analysis index based on information depth, quantitative disclosure, and reporting consistency, while firm value is proxied by Tobin’s Q and analyzed using a fixed effect panel regression model. The findings indicate that environmental disclosure quality has a positive and significant effect on firm value, suggesting that investors perceive transparent environmental reporting as a credible signal of corporate sustainability and lower information asymmetry. This study contributes by developing a substance-based environmental disclosure measurement framework aligned with recent sustainability reporting regulations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Halal certification has become a strategic instrument for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, both to fulfill regulatory obligations and to enhance competitiveness in domestic and global markets. This study aims to: (1) examine the contribution of halal certification to improving MSME competitiveness; (2) identify the benefits of halal certification for MSME business development; and (3) map the obstacles faced by MSMEs in the halal certification process along with mitigation strategies. The method used is library research by analyzing various secondary sources, including indexed scientific journals (SINTA and Scopus, 2023 2026), official regulations, trusted media reports, and documents from BPJPH, LPPOM MUI, and BRI Research Institute. The results show that halal certification significantly improves halal supply chain resilience, competitive advantage, and financial performance of MSMEs. The benefits obtained by MSMEs include increased consumer trust, expanded market access to modern retail and exports, and lifetime validity of the certificate. The main obstacles include internal factors (low halal literacy, limited human resources, funds, and technology), external factors (limited availability of certified halal raw materials and lack of socialization), and policy factors (burdensome AMDAL requirements). Recommended strategies include revising AMDAL requirements, expanding the Free Halal Certification (SEHATI) program, improving the quality of assistance, and strengthening multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Abstract

The growth of digital commerce has pushed the use of social media via live shopping features, so there is a more direct, kind of immediate interaction between sellers and consumers, and this can strengthen purchase decisions. Here, the study is trying to analyze how live shopping affects purchase decisions among TikTok Shop users in Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative method, and the data were collected using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale and then processed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS. The results show that live shopping has a positive and statistically significant impact on purchase decisions (β = 0.683; p < 0.001). In particular, real-time interaction along with information clarity and responsive communication are shown to improve trust and also help speed up consumer decision-making.  Overall, this study contributes by placing live shopping as the key variable within the purchase decision model, and it provides novelty for digital marketing research, while also giving practical input for businesses and platforms that want to optimize interaction-based strategies.

Abstract

Digital transformation has encouraged organizations to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a strategic technology to improve operational effectiveness and organizational competitiveness. However, the successful implementation of AI depends not only on technological sophistication but also on employees' ability to utilize the technology effectively through digital literacy. This study aims to examine the effect of Artificial Intelligence utilization on employee productivity, with digital literacy serving as a mediating variable in Indonesian organizations. This study employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research design. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey involving 200 employees working in organizations that have implemented AI in their operational activities. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicate that AI utilization has a positive and significant effect on both employee productivity and digital literacy. Furthermore, digital literacy positively influences employee productivity and significantly mediates the relationship between AI utilization and employee productivity. These findings demonstrate that improving employee productivity depends not only on technology adoption but also on strengthening employees' digital competencies. This study contributes to the development of the Resource-Based View perspective by explaining the synergy between technological capabilities and human capabilities, while providing practical implications for organizations in designing sustainable digital transformation strategies.
