Abstract

The development of technology such as mobile phones currently affect people's behavior. Almost everything can be accessed via mobile phones whenever and wherever. It’s also affects the function of other technologies, such as TV. Usefulness TV as entertainment is now rarely used, because online sites more accessible, one of which is Youtube. This research aims to design video production along with talent agencies to Youtube. These businesses create entertainment and commercial online. The design process also covers the phase of data collection such as interviews, literature studies, articles, and questionnaires.

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to develop an activity book for teenage couples to have a healthy dating style. As an initial step in developing the book, the authors conducted a study to determine the attractiveness of the product to the target market. The method used is a combination of primary and secondary, where the research was done by quantitative, qualitative and literature studies. Through this research, it is expected that activity book for couples will had great feedback for the future so that the value of the book can be channeled properly.

Abstract

Bible teaching ought to be taught as early as possible for Christians and Catholics. One of the media that introduce the contents of the bible to children is storybook. Religious-themed children's book can be found in book stores, but the number of books with Christian values to children is fairly little. Those books do not have a lot of variety and rarely provide a method of application of the biblical text. Though the Bible is essential in the life of the followers of Jesus Christ. The main objective of this research is to know how to teach the words of God to the children in easy and interesting way. This study uses qualitative research method, such as interviews, and literature studies. Results from the study are a book that helps children understand the Bible with additional games in the book so it can be educational as well as a form of entertainment. Product sales made through book stores and Christian book store.

Abstract

This study focuses on the relationship between visual communication design and entrepreneurship, which aims to generate a solution for the educational issue in children aged 3 to 5 caused by over- attachment to mobile devices (Radesky & Schumacher, 2014), through designing a business concept. Research was conducted with qualitative methods, including interviews with three professionals in the field of early education, a group play observation of 5 children aged 4 and 5, supported by literature review from related journals, books, and online articles. Research and analysis produced the business concept “Little Learners” Flashcards, a learning aid in the form of flashcards with various activities to do for children aged 3 to 5. This study concludes that “Little Learners” Flashcards can be an effective solution, due to the fact that flashcards exercise different skills such as motor, visual, and verbal skills, and at the same time encouraging children to be more engaged. Moreover, flashcards can help parents be more involved and interactive with their children. Based on positive responses from the research, this business looks prospective. The sustainability of this business is also guaranteed, seeing as there are countless educational materials that are yet to be explored and represented in flashcard form.

Abstract

The title of this journal is Designing a Service Business of Rental Decoration for Rovecè Decoration to apply the innovation of Loase / Loan for target audiences aged 21-27 years in Surabaya. Table decoration is equivalent to any celebration, from birthday parties, bridal showers, anniversaries, to special occasions such as Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc. This research aims to perform the innovation of loase / loan, a table decoration equipment rental company, so that consumers can create their own decoration as they desire. By providing an opportunity for Surabaya residents who want to create an event, but do not have the equipments to decorate. This decoration equipment rental service business can enhance the customers satisfaction for Rovecè company. Methods that are used for this study includes qualitvative method which is done by interviewing the expert user of the owner of table decoration printing agency in Surabaya and the owner of table decoration in Surabaya and some customers of table decoration in Surabaya. Also, quantitave method which spreads quetionnaires to target audiences to determine the feasibility of this business. Preliminary result shows that 67 out of 100 people have used decoration services due to their good designs. While 33 out of 100 people said that they have never used decoration service because there hasn’t been any event that requires decorating service, but they are interested in using the services of the table decorations. Based on this, we can conclude that their rental decorations can add to the consumer interest will be decorating services, but it also can answer the problems of people who want to decorate their own events.

Abstract

Brand Audhea collection is created to provide business attire for career women who have hectic schedule at both home and office. They have limited time in making decision which clothes they should wear due to many choices of clothes in their closet. Therefore, with the existence of brand Audhea, career women would have more option to choose work outfits that look modern yet comfortable and also versatile at the same time because of its reversible style. Using interview as a method of qualitative research by interviewing career woman as extreme user and fashion expert as expert user , as well as doing research through various sources, the final result are 5 sets of office wear which can be worn both the outside or the inside with comfortable fabric and modern design along with lookbook and corporate identity of brand Audhea.

Abstract

This design was done to create a teenage girl fashion style from brand NINOS, that was inspired from glam rock music genre in the 70’s which shows teenage rebellion expression. From that point on, the writer was motivated to make a ready-to-wear fashion collection themed “Ribelle” which was destined as means for Indonesian teenage girl to express their emotion through their clothes that they wear.

This is related to the needs of career women in this dense era of globalization that requires them to maximize the effectiveness of time as well as show a professional appearance by adjusting the activities and events that take place. Abstract

Catherine Yuwono brand collection is created to provide comfortable and flexible clothing for career women who have high mobility in their daily life. Target market of brand Catherine Yuwono is young career women who are the combination of consumer type Actualizers and Fulfilleds. After passing through the research process by interviewing the experts and potential costumers, observation, and literature studies, the collection of 5 ready to wear garments were made. This women’s wear collection design hopefully could be well received and answer the identified problems.

Abstract

In the designing process, the designer creates a child wear clothing line that adds positive value in the implication of origami that helps to train the motoric section of hand gestures in children, with young mom that had daughter in the city as the targeted market. The designing process made from qualitative research that based on middle-up segmented. The result of the research was the young moms likes a clothes that have a positive added value with bright colours, comfortable materials, and also a simple silhouette. So, the designing process, the designer used an application that can be moveable with using sew magnet. The designer used origami from fabric that inspired from japanese culture that assemble the butterflies, flowers, and also a propeller. With creating and designing brand “Bluzh!”, the designer hope that a children that wears the clothes can practice the motoric section fo hand gestures and also can be creatives with the origami. Then, it can increase the creativity of a girl
