Abstract

Indonesian Family Friends Orphanage (PASKI) is a social institution committed to caring for and educating orphaned and underprivileged children based on the values of Pancasila. The implementation of Pancasila values at PASKI is clearly visible in various aspects of orphanage life, starting from interactions between foster children, caregivers, to orphanage staff. Indonesian Family Friends Orphanage (PASKI) implements Pancasila values in various aspects of orphanage life, starting from interactions between foster children, caregivers, to orphanage staff. This implementation is clearly visible in religious activities, character education, and decision making. The application of Pancasila values in PASKI has a positive impact on the development of foster children. Foster children grow up to be individuals who believe, have noble character, and have a sense of love for their country. They also have sufficient knowledge and skills to face life in the future. It is hoped that the implementation of Pancasila values in PASKI can help children grow into individuals with noble character, a nationalist spirit, and ready to contribute to the nation and state.

Abstract

Murder is an act that is prohibited in Islam. One of the factors that causes someone to commit murder is low emotional control. Taking someone’s life or what is know as killing is an act that can be criminalized. The prohibition on committing murder has been regulated in Indonesian positive law and the perspective of Bukhari and Muslim Hadith. The crime of murder when viewed from the perspective of Indonesian positive law is contained in Law No. 1 of 1946 (KUHP) and in article 338. Apart from focusing from the perspective of Indonesia positive law, this research also focuses on the perspective of Islamic law and Hadith. The purpose of this article is to find out of relevance of Indonesian positive law to the Bukhari and Muslim Hadith regarding the crime of murder. In this case the author uses a descriptive qualitative research method, namely by collecting various data using literature studies. From this research, it was found that there is a connection between Bukhari and Muslim Hadith and positive Indonesian law regarding the prohibition of murder. Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of the principles of accountability and transparency in Islamic political ethics and its influence on good governance. Accountability is an important element in public sector organizations, as regulated in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2006 concerning Financial Reporting and Performance of Government Agencies. Transparency, as another key component, ensures openness in the decision-making process and information delivery. These two principles serve as mechanisms to combat rampant corruption in Indonesia, as reflected in the 2010 Corruption Watch Index score. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, involving the search and analysis of references from relevant books and journals. This analysis aims to understand how Islamic political ethics integrates the principles of accountability and transparency, as well as the challenges faced in their application. The results of the study show that from an Islamic perspective, accountability is seen as a mandate that must be fulfilled with honesty, justice, and transparency. Transparency in Islam emphasizes the importance of honest and thorough disclosure of information to all interested parties. The application of the principles of accountability and transparency in Islamic political governance has the potential to strengthen moral, social, and religious responsibility, as well as increase public trust in the government. However, challenges such as patronage politics, money politics, and corruption are still major obstacles. To overcome this challenge, there needs to be a strong commitment from the government and the community to implement these principles consistently. Thus, this research makes an important contribution in understanding how the principles of accountability and transparency in Islamic political ethics can be applied to improve good governance and combat corruption in Indonesia.

Abstract

Sharia banking is a financial institution that has a very important role in advancing the Indonesian economy and is an answer to the public's need to use a banking system based on sharia principles. However, sometimes there are many perceptions that Islamic banking is the same as conventional banking. Sharia banking has fundamental differences from conventional banking, namely regarding legal aspects, organizational structure, financed business activities and work environment. Sharia banking operational activities are based on sharia principles, namely the principle of profit sharing, buying and selling and leasing principles by conducting business through mudharabah, musyarokah, murabbahah and ijaroh contracts. Meanwhile, conventional banking provides services in payment traffic with the principle of determining interest for both savings and loan (credit) products and applying various fees in the form of nominal amounts and certain percentages.

Abstract

The phenomenon of children dealing with the law with their position as perpetrators is increasingly troubling the community, especially children who are perpetrators of murder. In this case there are two conflicting legal norms related to children's responsibility and children's rights in obtaining legal protection. The purpose of this study is to determine the form of child responsibility in terms of the Juvenile Justice System Law and to find out the solution in handling cases of children who become perpetrators of criminal acts without overriding their rights based on the case in decision No. 3/Pid.Sus-Anak/2022/PN Bnt. The method used is a normative juridical approach. The research was conducted by utilizing secondary data in the form of court decisions and other literature studies. The results showed that based on the Juvenile Justice System Law, the judicial process involves various competent parties and focuses on education and rehabilitation, with lighter sanctions and educational in nature. In the case of the Decision, the child was sentenced to 9 years and 6 months imprisonment in LPKA. In addition, not only punishment, but children are also given the necessary guidance and education as a form of fulfillment of their rights in order to improve their behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mobile legends stimulus on adolescent social skills in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey method through a questionnaire measured by the ratio scale and the Likert scale. This study uses a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted on the condition that the respondents were teenagers who played mobile legends and 8th grade students. The sample obtained amounted to 70 students out of a total population of 280 students. All instruments have been tested using product moment correlation and reliability using alpha cronbach, and have passed the prerequisite test. Data analysis using t-test and large percentage influence using R Square determination coefficient. The results of the study show that (1) there is a significant influence of mobile legends stimulus on social skills, as evidenced by the tcount value of > table, which is 4.163 > 1.995 and Sig < 0.05, which is 0.000 < 0.05. (2) The influence of the R square determination coefficient is 20.3% which is included in the low category and the rest is the influence of other variables outside the variables used.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the English British Council in improving the English reading skills of second semester students at Bhinneka PGRI University in the academic year 2023/2024. The experimental method was conducted at the university, focusing on second semester students during that academic year, with a sample of 22 students. The results showed a significant improvement in reading skills after using the British Council English application in learning. The difference in scores between the pre-test (63.41) and post-test (89.55) showed the success of the app. The paired samples t-test confirmed the results with a significance of 0.000, indicating the rejection of the null hypothesis in favor of the alternative hypothesis. In conclusion, the use of English British Council is effective in improving students' English reading skills

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how important career planning is for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in improving the performance of government organizations. This research highlights the importance of ASN with integrity, professionalism, and free from KKN practices, with reference to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2014 concerning ASN. Achieving organizational goals requires effective human resource management, particularly with regard to career planning and development. Data for this study were collected from various sources of related literature using qualitative methodology and literature review strategy. The research findings show that effective career planning can improve ASN competence and job satisfaction, foster employee motivation, and ensure assignments that match skills and interests. Effective career planning also helps retain exceptional workers and produce future leaders capable of leading the organization. Therefore, ASN career planning patterns are beneficial for the personal development of each ASN and also for the organization as a whole.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the implementation of the trader relocation policy at Keputran Market, Tegalsari District, Surabaya City. This research uses a qualitative approach. The focus of this research is based on the Van Meter Van Horn theory to determine whether policies meet 6 indicators: policy standards and targets, inter-organizational communication and activity measurement, organizational characteristics of inter-organizational communication, attitude or character of implementers, social, political and economic resources and conditions. The location of this research is precisely in the Keputran Market area, Tegalsari District, Surabaya City. The research results show that the trader relocation policy is an attitude made by the Surabaya City government to create peace and order in the Keputran Market area because the traders carry out buying and selling on the shoulder of the road and the location is a public facility area. The implementation of existing policies at Keputran Market has not been carried out well by traders because there are still many traders who buy and sell on the sidewalk. Satpol PP has tried to control the Keputran Market area as much as possible, but there are still traders who do not follow the existing rules. The lack of knowledge of traders regarding the regulations of PERDA Number 1 of 2023 concerning Trade and Industry has caused obstacles to the implementation of the regulations that have been given by the government not to sell along the Keputran Market sidewalk.
