Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Companies' bottom lines took a major hit during the COVID-19 epidemic, especially those in the industrial industry. This research compares the financial performance of IDX-listed manufacturing businesses before and after the pandemic using many metrics, including ROA, ROE, NPM, Current Ratio, and TATO. We used a quantitative approach using a Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and a Paired Sample tTest to analyse financial data from 2018 – 2021. The results indicate significant changes in profitability and efficiency ratios. Additionally, the study emphasizes the relevance of non-financial factors such as digital transformation and government policies, which remain underexplored in Indonesia. These findings align with prior research and provide insights for companies to formulate stronger strategies in facing economic crises, especially in the post-pandemic recovery phase.

Abstract

This study conducts a systematic review of literature on the determinants of banking performance, covering both financial and non-financial perspectives in conventional and Islamic banking. Using the PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, 15 key articles from 2015 to 2024 were analyzed. Findings show that indicators such as ROA, CAR, and LDR remain dominant, while organizational culture, workforce diversity, and Islamic values are gaining attention. However, most studies use cross-sectional data and focus on large national banks. Inconsistencies were noted in the effects of innovation and zakat. This study highlights the need for a multidimensional approach that integrates financial and non-financial factors to build an inclusive and sustainable banking performance evaluation model.

Abstract

The capital market in Indonesia is a key component in supporting economic growth by providing alternative financing for companies and governments. Investing in stocks has become the main choice for many investors thanks to the potential profits it offers, although they also have to face risks due to drastic price changes. This research aims to analyze the performance and risk of stocks included in LQ45, especially in the banking sector listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period of 2019 to 2023. The data source for this research was obtained from the official BEI website and other trusted references. By using the single index method, this study recalculated the expected results and standard deviation to evaluate stock performance. The analysis results show that the shares of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN.JK) have the highest expected result, which is 6,52%, even though it is accompanied by the biggest risk (standard deviation 2,4865). On the other hand, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI.JK) recorded an expected result of -0,03% with a lower risk level (standard deviation 2,0779). The findings of this study emphasize the strong relationship between results and risks in stock investment which can be used as a guideline for investors in making more appropriate and data-based investment decisions.

Abstract

By contrasting the risks and returns of investing in BBRI, AMMN, BBCA, and BBNI shares with the IHSG, this study examines the viability of doing so. The average return and risk (standard deviation) for each stock and IHSG are determined statistically, and beta calculations are used to gauge systematic risk. According to the analysis's findings, the average return of each stock varies from that of the IHSG. Additionally, the standard deviation of risk differs from company to company. One can determine how sensitive these equities are to changes in the market by using beta analysis. While some companies offer larger returns with more manageable risks, others perform less attractively than the JCI. Recommendations for investments are made after weighing risk and return.

Abstract

This study explores the inventory and mapping of disability-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bekasi City as a strategy to strengthen inclusive local economies. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research identified 110 MSMEs, with the majority engaged in traditional (25.5%) and modern food sectors (21.8%), reflecting the accessibility and market potential of the culinary industry for persons with disabilities. Other enterprises such as tailoring, massage, and handicrafts highlight their diverse skills and adaptability. Most operate independently with family support, yet face challenges in access to capital, training, and digital marketing. The study emphasizes the need for stronger collaboration among government, social institutions, and the private sector to develop an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem that fosters empowerment and economic participation of persons with disabilities.
