Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Instagram social media and product quality on purchase decisions on CV Shanjaya Group Webbing Tangerang. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used the slovin formula and a sample of 93 respondents was obtained. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and hypothesis test. The population in this study is consumers of CV Shanjaya Group Webbing Tangerang and the number of saturated samples amounted to 93 respondents. The method of data collection is through questionnaires with a likert scale, observation, and literature study. The results of this study are that Instagram social media has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a determinationcoefficient of 28.1% and a hypothesis test obtained by tcal > ttable or (8.026 > 1.98667). Product quality had a significant effect on the purchase decision with a determination coefficient of 21.4% and the hypothesis test was obtained > ttable or (7.663 > 1.98667). Instagram social media and product quality simultaneously had a significant effect on purchase decisions by obtaining the regression equation Y = 17.104 + 0.394X1 + 0.271X2, nilai coefficient of determination of 54.2% while the remaining 45.8% was influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test obtained the value of Fcal > Ftabel or (53.262 > 3.10).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of intrinsic motivation and work communication on employee performance at PT. Aligned with the Prosperous Star of the City of Depok. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling where all members of the population are used as samples, thus the sample in this study is 58 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and hypothesis test. The population in this study is employees of PT. In line with the Prosperous Star of Depok City and the number of saturated samples amounted to 58 respondents. The method of data collection is through questionnaires with a likert scale, observation, and literature study. The results of this study are that intrinsic motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a determinationcoefficient of 84.4% and the hypothesis test was obtained by calculating > ttable or (17,407 > 1,672). Work communication had a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient of 85.2% and the hypothesis test was obtained by calculating > ttable or (17,976 > 1,672). Intrinsic motivation and work communication simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 0.045 + 0.497X1 + 0.483X2, nii coefficient of determination was 90.3% while the remaining 9.7% was influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test obtained the value of Fcal > Ftabel or (254.722 > 3.16).

Abstract

Fire bricks possess the ability to withstand high temperatures; however, repeated use beyond their capacity can lead to failure. As construction materials, fire bricks maintain their shape and strength at extremely high temperatures. Kaolin is a natural mineral belonging to the clay group, with kaolinite as its primary constituent. The decomposition of kaolinite into metakaolinite occurs between 400 and 630°C, and metakaolin gradually promotes the formation of mullite crystals. Alumina is one of the most widely used raw materials in refractory applications due to its high heat resistance, as well as its resistance to erosion and corrosion. This study aims to analyze fire bricks produced by sintering kaolin at 700°C, while varying the compositions of kaolin, alumina, and chamotte, followed by firing at 1300°C. Density test results indicate that Sample 3 yielded the best value of 2.14 g/cm³. Porosity test results show that Sample 3 achieved the optimal value of 16.4%. Compressive strength test results demonstrate that Sample 3 produced the highest value of 34.79 N/mm². This research has the potential to serve as an alternative solution for developing fire bricks applicable in the petrochemical industry, iron and steel production, boilers, power plants, ceramics, glass, and other sectors.
