Sastra: kajian sastra daerah, sastra Indonesia, kajian sastra luar negeri, sastra anak, kajian sastra untuk pendidikan karakter, dan kajian sastra lainnya. Ilmu Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia: pengembangan kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, penilaian, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia lintas kurikulum, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, keterampilan berbahasa, dan analisis pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia lainnya. Abstract

This study aims to know and master teaching materials as part of the study of syntactic learning problems. This study uses a type of qualitative research to build knowledge through understanding and discovery. The subjects in this study were lecturers and students. Lecturers and students were used as the main research subjects because the informants were the executors of the teaching and learning process, especially the lecturers as the implementation of the development of teaching materials. The data collection method is through observation and part of the literature review related to the focus of this research. The results of this study indicate that teaching materials are part of the study of the problems of syntactic learning. This is because choosing and determining teaching materials is a problem that educators often face in the learning process. The success of the learning process depends on the design and arrangement of teaching materials. Teaching materials can be interpreted as any form of material that is arranged systematically which allows students to learn independently and is designed in accordance with the applicable curriculum.Keywords: Teaching materials, syntax learning problems.

Abstract

This paper discusses the discourse of postkolonial studies using BREAK theory approach. In this paper discussed two different works or discourses which equally written in the post-colonial period, Tenggelamnya Kapal van der Wijck by Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah (HAMKA) and “Inilah Sejarah Ringkas Aulia Allah Assalihin Syekh Burhanuddin Ulakan yang Mengembangkan Agama Islam di Daerah Minangkabaui” by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin al-Khatib (IMAM). The objective of the analysis toward these two works is to see the existence of both works, as two discourses that influence on the ideologi of the society, which can be viewed from various aspects of discourse. Based on the analysis of the discourse by using the BREAK theory, it can be concluded: 1) with a different essence, both works have the same spirit, 2) with the background of the same period and origin of the author, in both works can also be found various ideological and power relations that can connect the two, and 3) from the differences, both works have balance, which will produce the sustainability of both of them.Keywords: postkolonial discourse, ideology and power, theory BREAK

Abstract

Style of language is a form described in the conduct of elections diction, phrases and clauses in a sentence. Either in writing or orally. In the selection of diction are some by the author. For some writers, the choice of diction is very important that the purpose and the intended meaning precisely the reader in mind. The lyrics are considered a work rich in diction metaphors or parables. In this paper have two songwriter and singer who uses song lyrics figurative meaning that the lyrics performed by Iwan Fals and Slank. The method used in this paper is a qualitative method with some additional techniques. Then combined with the theory that includes Base BREAK Discourse, Discourse Relations, Equilibrium Discourse, Discourse Actualization, Sustainability Discourse. The lyrics were created by Iwan Fals selected as the primary discourse containing style figurative language and imagery. While the lyrics Slank used as a secondary discourse that only a few uses language metaphors or parables. As a comparison the lyrics of this song were analyzed based languages or parable uses. Keywords: BREAK Theory, language in style, song

Abstract

Language and Policy for Palm Oil Development in Indonesia, using BREAK theory and policy analysis studies with deep forensic linguistic dimensions solving language problems and oil palm development policies. BREAK is an acronym for Discourse Basis, Discourse Relations, Discourse Equilibrum, Actualization Discourse, and Sustainability of Discourse. BREAK theory is a theory created by Sawirman on the failure of Kant(ian), Hegelian, and Marx(ian) dialectics in mapping the typology of movements and structures of changes in reality and discourse accommodating. This theory aims to explain linguistic phenomena along with see the movement of the essence and spirit of discourse. Policy analysis has a linguistic dimension Forensics requires knowledge and understanding of various multidisciplinary sciences. Relation language, law, and political strategy are the main variables in the analytical study policy with a forensic linguistic dimension. The results of this research show that the essence of primary discourse is planning regarding palm oil development to be better in the future. The essence of secondary discourse is news about conflicts over palm oil development that are not going well. The spirit of the primary discourse is to make changes for the better, while the spirit from secondary discourse is information that shows existing policies being sent off did not go well on the field. Next, on to policy analysis with a forensic linguistic dimension, there is an intrusion or action of a criminal within making and establishing oil palm development policies. Abstract

Language errors are often found in the activity of presenting papers in learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data in the research are in the form of words. This study aims to describe errors in Indonesian in the form of spelling in the activity of presenting papers in learning. The technique used for data collection in this study was observing and noting. Data analysis by classifying and grouping. The results of this study were errors in the language of presenting papers in learning including language errors in the form of variations in Indonesian including: Indonesian mixed with English; Indonesian mixed with the South Tapanuli Batak language. Keywords: analysis, language errors, learning Indonesian

Abstract

This development research aims to describe the results of the validation reliability of the development of literary criticism teaching materials using the independent learning method. The problem that often occurs is the lack of textbooks that can support the learning of literary criticism courses, so that students' understanding of theory practice in literary criticism courses is weak. The research method used is the RD development method. The research sample is 4th semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UM-Tapsel for the 2021-2022 academic year. Based on the results of development research it is known that the reliability conclusion of developing literary criticism teaching materials using independent learning methods is successful and feasible to be made as literary criticism teaching materials for independent learning.Keywords: Development, teaching materials, literary criticism, independent learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the politeness level of Tadris Indonesian language students at UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan. The study in this research is also related to the views of Islamic family law and combined with a pragmatic review of the language. The research methods and techniques used are descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection technique is in the form of participatory observation. Data analysis techniques use interactive models, which are divided into three parts, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are through a review of Islamic family law and a combination of pragmatic linguistics, it can be drawn the parameters of one's language politeness. Through various maxims that are directly or indirectly uttered by speakers in certain situations and speech contexts. After the various politeness maxims are applied, namely the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of modesty, the maxim of appreciation, the maxim of agreement, and the maxim of sympathy. Then, we will be able to use it as a benchmark and parameter for achieving good, correct, polite, and polite speech.Keywords: Islamic Family Law, Indonesian Department Students, Language Politeness
