Abstract

This study aims to determine how student learning motivation after applying the Predict, Observe and Explain (POE) learning model. The method used in this study is an experimental method with the population, namely students of SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau class X. Based on the population, sampling is carried out in class X IPA 2 using the Simple Random Sampling technique because the sample is a randomly taken population. The instrument used is in the form of a motivation questionnaire from each student, where the test results will be seen based on motivation indicators and percentages. From the results of the analysis, 94% of students have very good motivation, 6% of students have good learning motivation, 0% of students have less learning motivation, and 0% of students have very less learning motivation. Based on the results of the analysis obtained, it can be concluded that after the implementation of the POE learning model students have high motivation to do physics learning. This can be seen in the percentage which in the table shows excellent and good data analysis.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility of an inquiry-based teaching module to improve the collaboration skills of class XI students at MAN 2 Lubuklinggau. The research method used is the 4D development model consisting of 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop and 4) Disseminate. The instrument used to answer the research objectives is the feasibility sheet consisting of a media expert validation sheet, a language expert validation sheet and a material expert validation sheet. The data in this study were analyzed using the Widoyoko formula. Based on the data obtained from the results of the feasibility of inquiry-based teaching modules, a score of 51 was obtained from media experts with a very good classification, a score of 73 from language experts with a very good classification, and a score of 47 from material experts with a very good classification. So the inquiry-based teaching module is declared very suitable for use and able to improve students' collaboration skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the validity of guided note taking (GNT)-based handouts on mechanical wave materials. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) development research using a 4D development model consisting of four stages, namely: the defining stage (define), the design stage (design), the development stage (develop), and the dissemination stage (disseminate). The instrument used is a handout validity questionnaire. Validity assessments are carried out by media, language, and material experts. The results of the validity of media experts were 0.86 with a very valid category, the validity of linguists was 0.87 with a very valid category and the validity of material experts was 0.9 with a very valid category, while the validity of all experts was 0.87 with a very valid category. From the results of research that has been done, it was found that handouts based on guided note taking are feasible to be used to increase students' interest in learning. So it can be concluded that handouts based on guided note taking (GNT) on the resulting mechanical wave material are good and valid and can be used in learning.

Abstract

The fast development of internet and mobile technologies prompt this study. Mobile learning technology is accessible and convenient, as students can use advantageous devices to acquire knowledge at any time and location. Mobile learning can effectively meet students' educational requirements in acquiring knowledge. Furthermore, the design of learning materials that are inappropriate for mobile learning might be attributed to one of the reasons of students' cognitive stress. The purpose of this study is to see how mobile learning (Edmodo) on excretory system content affects cognitive load and student concept mastering. This research used a quasi-experimental method consisting of two classes: the experimental class (using mobile learning) and the control class (conventional learning). The instrument used to measure cognitive load consisted of questionnaires of intrinsic cognitive load, extraneous cognitive, and germane cognitive load, while the instrument for mastery of concepts consisted of pre-test and post-test. In addition, there was also a student response questionnaire to review the use of mobile learning in the experimental class. The data that had been collected were analyzed by a descriptive statistic method using SPSS 25.0. The results show that students in both classes have a cognitive load that can be controlled, but the cognitive load in the experimental class was more controllable than in the control class. The result of mastery of concept showed that the experimental class was higher than the control class, with a post-test significance value of 0.001 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that mobile learning influence the excretory system material on the cognitive load and mastery of students' concepts.

Abstract

Perceptions at SMA Negeri 1 Torue appeared moo understudy intrigued in learning, thought to be due to improper learning models. The Gather Examination sort agreeable learning show is able to extend students' intrigued in learning through inclusion, intrigued and sentiments of delight. The point of this investigate is to extend the learning intrigued of course . Including 36 course X-J understudies for one month, this investigate had two cycles with the target of expanding understudy intrigued in learning from cycle I to cycle II, measured by the rate of understudy intrigued in learning. exceptionally great (100%), but understudy action (normal 65.27%) and understudy intrigued in learning (normal 62.08%) are still missing. In Cycle II, there was a noteworthy enhancement: execution of instructor exercises come to 100%, understudy action expanded to 88.19% (great category), and understudy intrigued in learning come to 88.12% (tall category). Enhancements were made by building communication, directing talks , propel understudies, and increment participation. The comes about appear a positive affect on the execution of learning and understudy intrigued in learning, in agreement with the markers of victory of the modern investigate in this ponder, to be specific particularly inquiring about expanding understudy intrigued in learning in lesson X-J SMAN 1 Torue utilizing the GI sort agreeable learning show which is once in a while examined in investigate related to expanding understudy intrigued in learning.
