Jurnal Imiah Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (JIPM) merupakan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarkat yang diterbitkan oleh CV.INDONESIA dengan Nomor Registrasi ISSN : 3026-1163 (Online). Terbit pertama kali bulan Juni 2023, dan diterbitkan 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan (Juni dan Desember). Setiap manuskrip yang dikirimkan akan melalui proses peer-review dengan metode double-blind. Abstract

Rivalry in the education field, especially at SMA Pelita Bangsa, has heightened alongside rising expectations for quality and evolving preferences of students and their parents. Thus, market analysis is essential as a means to comprehend customers—students and parents—and to evaluate the positioning and strategies of rivals within educational institutions. This insight is anticipated to assist the school and its students in obtaining a lasting competitive edge. This research seeks to analyze students' comprehension of customers and competitors while developing strategies that can enhance SMA Pelita Bangsa's standing. The approach employed is qualitative research utilizing a Participatory Action Research (PAR) framework, incorporating observations, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), detailed interviews, and SWOT analysis. The findings indicate that while students grasp the significance of market analysis, its execution is still obstructed by a lack of data and inadequate cooperation among the school, students, and parents. SMA Pelita Bangsa excels in teacher quality and facilities but must improve innovation and data usage. Through differentiation methods and enhanced collaboration with stakeholders, the school and students are equipped to tackle competition successfully and cultivate a more robust entrepreneurial mindset. This research provides essential insights for formulating entrepreneurship strategies and competitive edge in educational environments

Abstract

Rapid technological developments have had a major impact on various aspects of life, including the business world. Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012, grew up as a generation familiar with digital technology, giving them great potential to develop an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to provide students with an understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship from an early age, foster creative and independent thinking, and utilize technology as a means to start a business. This activity was carried out at Pelita Bangsa Global Islamic School through direct guidance, interactive discussions, and question and answer sessions to determine the extent of students' understanding of the material presented. The results of the activity showed that students were very enthusiastic and understood that a business does not have to start from something big, but can come from a simple idea or hobby that is developed. They also realized that technology plays an important role in promoting and developing a business. Although there are still challenges such as lack of confidence and minimal experience, this activity succeeded in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in the younger generation and encouraging them to dare to take advantage of opportunities from an early age.

Abstract

This community service is carried out at Pelita Bangsa High School with the aim of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among students. The activities are focused on how students' hobbies and talents can be transformed into creative, innovative, and economically valuable business opportunities. Through an educational approach, training, and mentorship, students are guided to recognize their potentials, design business ideas, and understand the basic steps of simple business management. The expected outcomes are the formation of a young entrepreneurial mindset within the school environment, an increase in students' entrepreneurial skills, and the existence of examples of products or services resulting from the development of students' hobbies and talents that can be commercialized.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced adolescents’ social interactions and identity formation. A lack of media ethics awareness, limited digital literacy, and increasing social pressure in digital spaces can negatively affect adolescents’ self-image and mental health. Based on these challenges, this Community Service Program (PKM) was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang Selatan to enhance students’ understanding of digital literacy, develop positive self-image, and promote mental well-being in the digital era. The activity employed a qualitative, participatory, and educational approach through interactive lectures, group discussions, case simulations, and reflective sessions. Students served as the primary participants, supported by teachers and educational staff as facilitators. The results indicate a significant increase in students’ awareness of responsible digital behavior, a deeper understanding of the relationship between online activities and self-concept, and improved emotional regulation strategies. Participants also demonstrated a positive shift in using social media—from mere entertainment to a medium for learning and constructive self-expression. Overall, this PKM program effectively fostered critical thinking and digital responsibility among adolescents, providing a practical model for digital character education within schools.

Abstract

The use of gadgets in today's digital technology has become a common phenomenon, especially among teenagers. Gadgets such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops can make it easier for teenagers to communicate, access a wide range of information, enhance creativity, and facilitate online learning. However, excessive use of gadgets can certainly have negative effects such as addiction, cyberbullying, decreased physical health, and academic performance. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) activity was to provide an understanding of the positive and negative impacts of gadget use and to encourage students at SMAN 6 Tangerang Selatan to use gadgets wisely in the development of digital technology. The methods used included lectures and question and answer sessions. The results of the socialization show that students at SMAN 6 South Tangerang have increased their understanding of the positive and negative impacts of gadget use. This PKM activity has also been able to encourage a change in students' attitudes towards gadget use, as seen from their self-reflections that they will use gadgets wisely

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase self-confidence and mental health awareness among students of SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang Selatan through the positive use of digital technology. In the digital era, adolescents are highly exposed to social media and online platforms that may influence their psychological well-being. This program was conducted to guide students in utilizing digital technology wisely as a medium for self-development and mental health support. The methods used included interactive presentations, discussions, and digital-based learning activities. The results showed an improvement in students’ understanding of digital literacy, reduced negative digital habits, and increased self-confidence in academic and social environments. This activity demonstrates that proper guidance in digital technology utilization can contribute positively to adolescents’ mental health and personal development.

Abstract

In today’s rapidly evolving digital era, students are required to possess digital literacy skills to navigate the overwhelming flow of information, which is not always accurate. This community service program (PKM) was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang Selatan, aiming to enhance students’ digital literacy, particularly in recognizing and combating hoaxes and toxic content. The implementation employed an interactive counseling and mentoring approach through discussions, hoax identification simulations, and positive digital campaigns. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of information verification, digital ethics, and responsible online behavior. The program successfully fostered ethical awareness and critical thinking among students, promoting a healthy and productive digital environment.

Abstract

In today’s era of globalization, the development of digital technology is rapidly advancing, bringing significant impact on all groups, including the younger generation. With the current advancements in technology, various information can be easily accessed through social media, short video apps, and internet access, which facilitate interaction with others without the need for face-to-face meetings. However, there are challaenges faced, such as sosial media addiction, loss of-image, and the deterioration of mental health among the younger generation. The community service activity at SMAN 6 South Tanggerang aims to educate students on the importance of utilizing existing digital technology to strengthen self-image and mental health in order to realize Indonesia’s vision of becoming a golden nation by 2045.

Abstract

Integrated Education, specifically designed to address the widespread challenges associated with implementing Risk Management in educational institutions, which often operate in a reactive and compliance-oriented manner. The method applied in this study is a detailed descriptive-conceptual analysis, comparing established global Risk Management standards with the very specific strategic and operational context of higher education institutions. The resulting model is fundamentally based on a paradigm shift from simple compliance to active risk performance, using a structure framed by four critical Strategic Risk Pillars: Academic, Financial, Technology, and Reputation. The study's key finding is the establishment of a mandatory and dynamic Integration and Feedback mechanism. This mechanism ensures that all Mitigation Action Plans are explicitly and formally linked to the Annual Work Plan and Budget to secure the necessary resource allocation, while the effectiveness of all mitigation efforts is continuously monitored and measured directly through the achievement of Key Performance Indicators. Most importantly, failure to achieve Key Performance Indicator targets automatically triggers a feedback loop for a comprehensive revision of the institutional risk profile. Ultimately, this robust framework effectively transforms MR from a passive regulatory obligation into a proactive strategic performance driver, thereby significantly enhancing the overall resilience of the organization and consistently ensuring continuous quality improvemen.

Abstract

This article discusses the collaboration between students of Universitas Negeri Padang's Community Service Program (KKN) and the Batu Tanjung Village Government to strengthen community literacy through library assessment assistance. The challenges identified in this activity are low community participation and limited library facilities. In this research, the author raises issues with a literature study approach using descriptive-qualitative methods. In KKN activities, students are responsible for library organization, classifying books with DDC, and creating an attractive reading atmosphere. At the same time, the village government participated in the provision of facilities, arrangements, as well as policies and program sustainability. The results showed that a balanced collaboration between students and the village government was beneficial in developing a sustainable and dynamic literacy culture.
