SOTIRIA (Jurnal Theologia dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen) merupakan wadah untuk memublikasi hasil penelitian bidang Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen, baik bagi para dosen di lingkungan Sekolah Tinggi Theologia Paulus, Medan maupun STT dan institusi lain yang terkait dalam rumpun ilmu Teologi Kristen, di seluruh Indonesia, bahkan luar negeri. Lingkup penelitian di SOTIRIA adalah: Teologi Biblikal (Perjanjian Lama dan Baru) Teologi Sistematika Teologi dan Kontekstual Pendidikan Agama Kristen SOTIRIA menerima artikel dari dosen dan para praktisi teologi yang ahli di bidangnya, dari segala institusi teologi yang ada, baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri. Artikel yang telah memenuhi persyaratan akan dinilai kelayakannya oleh reviewer yang ahli di bidangnya melalui proses double blind-review.

Penelitian ini hendak memperlihatkan bahwa kearifan lokal khas maluku yaitu Pela dapat diintegrasikan dalam proses rekonsiliasi pasca konflik Maluku. Metode penelitian yang dipakai ialah deskriptif-analisis dalam pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pela sebagai kearifan lokal Maluku dapat dikonstruksikan dalam proses rekonsiliasi pasca konflik kemanusiaan di Maluku. Pela dapat dipakai dalam mekanisme penyelesaian konflik, yang tidak hanya menyelaraskan kepentingan antar kelompok tetapi mengikat kelompok dalam ikatan permanen yang bersifat kekeluargaan atau hubungan darah. Oleh karena itu pela dapat diintegrasikan dalam proses rekonsiliasi yaitu komitmen antara kedua kelompok yang konflik yang diakhiri pada hubungan terbuka yang diwujudkan dalam hospilitas yang beresiko. Kesimpulan yang didapat ialah pela sebagai kearifan lokal dapat dipakai dalam proses rekonsiliasi pasca konflik kemanusiaan di Maluku.

This paper presents an analysis of the text of 1 Timothy 2: 8-12 in relation to the role of women in worship. Where will be studied in the dialectic of body politics and body theology. The study in this paper uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected using literature study techniques. The results of the study illustrate that the text of 1 Timothy 2: 8-12 presents the role of women in ministry in the Ephesian church. This condition implies that the role of women in church service has the same obligations as men and has the same value before God. Tulisan ini menyajikan analisis teks 1 Timotius 2:8-12 dalam kaitannya dengan peran perempuan dalam ibadah. Dimana akan dikaji dalam dialektika politik tubuh dan teologi tubuh. Kajian dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa teks1 Timotius 2:8-12 menyajikan peran perempuan dalam pelayanan di jemaat Efesus. Kondisi ini berimplikasi bahwa peran perempuan dalam pelayanan jemaat memiliki kewajiban yang sama dengan laki-laki, serta memiliki nilai yang sama di hadapan Allah.

The term in the field of theology which is often discussed and even taken place in the study of religious education is sin. One term that is easy to read but has a fundamental and profound meaning if examined further. Indonesian means sin with a very simple sentence. But if we study sin based on the Greek terminology, the meaning will be very broad and very profound. In this case the terms of sin will be explained by the Apostle of all tribes, the Apostle Paul. The term sin received much and deep attention in the theology of the Apostle Paul. By the Apostle Paul, sin was not just breaking God's law. Therefore an explanation of the terms of sin put forward by the Apostle Paul in Greek terminology and its meaning in depth combined with a discussion of the origin of sin, the universality of sin, and the consequences of sin will be discussed in this paper. Abstrak: Istilah dalam bidang ilmu Theologia yang kerap diperbincangkan bahkan mengambil tempat dalam kajian pendidikan keagamaan adalah dosa. Satu istilah yang mudah untuk dibaca namun memiliki makna yang mendasar dan mendalam jika dikaji lebih lanjut. Bahasa Indonesia memaknai dosa dengan kalimat yang sangat sederhana. Namun jika kita mengkaji dosa berdasarkan terminologi dalam bahasa Yunani maka maknanya akan sangat luas dan sangat mendalam. Dalam hal ini akan dijabarkan istilah-istilah dosa yang dibahas oleh sang Rasul segala suku bangsa yaitu Rasul Paulus. Istilah dosa mendapat perhatian yang banyak dan mendalam dalam theologia Rasul Paulus. Oleh Rasul Paulus, dosa ternyata tidak hanya sekedar melanggar hukum Tuhan. Oleh sebab itu penjelasan istilah-istilah dosa yang dikemukakan oleh Rasul Paulus dalam terminologi bahasa Yunani dan artinya secara mendalam yang dipadukan dengan pembahasan asal mula dosa, universalitas dosa, dan akibat dosa akan dibahas dalam tulisan ini.

The holiness of life is a continuation of the process of the person who is born again. A person who has been born again is a person who has been sanctified by God. In the process of sanctification, the sinful man has no share in sanctifying himself. The holiness of life and predestination are in the authority of God, therefore humans have no share in determining salvation and self-sanctification. Since then Allah has determined everything and no human being knows what Allah has determined. Therefore God offers Grace to all people through His Son, the Lord Jesus, so that everyone who receives it can be saved. Predestination is an understanding that makes it easier for everyone to understand God's sovereignty in choosing and saving. Holiness in life is God's process in the person who has been chosen and saved to always live a godly life. Both are God's works in human life and prove that God is sovereign.

this study aims to reveal how the concept of Missio Dei as reconciliation in the trinity-incarnational mission paradigm and construct the form of mission Dei as reconciliation in the public sphere. The research method used is a qualitative research method through the Literature Research approach whose research results are obtained through reading various literature on the mission and practice of reconciliation. This research reveals that Missio Dei is a mission carried out by the Triune God so that humans can reunite in the fellowship of the Triune God through reconciliation through the incarnation of the Word, namely Jesus Christ. Missio Dei as this reconciliation forms the format of the mission as reconciliation between individuals/groups based on the trinitarian-incarnational framework and is constructed through a construction circle approach that starts with open relationships and ends with risky actions. The conclusion is that mission Dei as reconciliation is an alternative in the context of today's mission. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana konsep Missio Dei sebagai rekonsiliasi dalam paradigma misi trinitas-inakrnasional dan mengkonstruksikan bentuk mission Dei sebagai rekonsiliasi dalam ruang public. Metode penelitian yang dipakai ialah metode penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan Literatur Research yang hasil penelitiannya didapat melalui pembacaan berbagai literatur tentang misi dan praktik rekonsiliasi. Penelitian ini mengungkapakan bahwa Missio Dei adalah misi yang dilakukan oleh Alah Tritunggal agar manusia dapat bersekutu kembali dalam persekutuan Allah Tritunggal melalui rekonsiliasi yang dilakukan melalui inkarnasi sang Firman yaitu Yesus Kristus. Missio Dei sebagai rekonsiliasi ini membentuk format misi sebagai rekonsiliasi antar setiap pribadi/kelompok berdasarkan kerangka trinitarian-inkarnasional dan dikonstruksikan melalalui pendekatan lingkaran konstruksi yang dimulai dari hubungan terbuka yang diakhiri dengan tindakan beresiko. Kesimpulan yang didapat ialah bahwa mission Dei sebagai rekonsiliasi merupakan alternatif dalam konteks misi masa kini.

An essay is one of the assignments that have been given by the lecturers to the students involved in the subject. However, the given essay is done by the undergraduate students of Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Pelita Bangsa contained as the plagiarism work, which is analyzed by the Turnitin tool. Plagiarism is committed among 27% - 35% as found through the Turnitin tool and it seems to increase gradually every semester. This “criminal work” needs to be minimalized, where the standard of Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Pelita Bangsa is being set up and must be met by the Word of God which says, “Do not steal.” If the problem is not sorted out then the increasing number of plagiarisms threatens the academic standard of academicians at ST Pelita Bangsa. Therefore, this research must be conducted through careful analysis via qualitative methodology by interviewing the students and the lecturers. The finding is that students don't know how to write an essay due to the lack of practicing from the beginning of the new academic year and the limited number of books at the library is the motive for the students doing it. The latter recommendation must be done to prevent the increase of plagiarism.

This study aims to understand the meaning of Christian freedom based on Galatians 5:1-4. This study uses the exegesis method to find out the meaning of freedom in the text of Galatians 5: 1-4. from the exegesis it is obtained that People who have been freed by Christ from the Torah Law should not be slaves anymore to the inducements of others. That would mean wasting God's grace and salvation (5:1). But Christian freedom must not be misunderstood, as if it were possible to live without restraints (5:13). Because Christian freedom is freedom to practice love which concludes all the Torah Law which is a guideline for life is still valid (5:14-15). The gift of the Holy Spirit requires a way of living according to the Spirit, so that His fruit becomes visible (15:16-26). The principle of living according to the Spirit can be concluded in loving others in a real way as the implementation of the Law of Christ (6:1-3). God certainly cannot be mocked (6:4-8). He demands that believers practice love (6:9-10) . Here it is known that when the Son of God came to earth and was willing to suffer and even die on the cross in order to save mankind from the slavery of sin. Because the first man fell into sin and sin never broke or stopped, but continued to stick to the human person.

Educational leadership that has the criterion of emotional quotient is the leader with the ability to influence the educational community through self-awareness and self-management. This ability helps school leaders to understand the society. In other words, the leader has the social awareness and skill management. It is the skill to interact with the shcool community their wants. In addition, the school leaders are required to be honest to their selves and the whole educational community for their building of self strength, self-conscience, honor, and responsibility to the whole school community. To conclude that the cooperation between leaders and society (social community) the goal of the education will be achieved. Abstrak: Kepemimpinan pendidikan yang memiliki kriteria quatition emosional adalah kepemimpinan dengan kemampuan untuk mempengaruhi komunitas pendidikan melalui kesadaran diri dan manajemen diri. Kemampuan ini membantu para pemimpin sekolah untuk memahami masyarakat. Dengan kata lain, pemimpin memiliki kesadaran sosial dan manajemen keterampilan. Ini adalah keterampilan untuk berinteraksi dengan komunitas shcool yang mereka inginkan. Selain itu, para pemimpin sekolah dituntut untuk jujur pada diri mereka sendiri dan seluruh komunitas pendidikan untuk membangun kekuatan diri, hati nurani, kehormatan, dan tanggung jawab mereka kepada seluruh komunitas sekolah. Untuk menyimpulkan bahwa kerja sama antara para pemimpin dan masyarakat (komunitas sosial) tujuan pendidikan akan tercapai.

Many people when they hear the word mission, immediately think of a difficult, heavy and complicated job, because mission means having to go to someone else's country. This research was conducted by applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining type of Cooperative Learning model in Christian Religious Education learning to improve speaking ethics of class IX-2 students of SMP Negeri 1 Sibolangit in 2020. The type of research used was Classroom Research Action. The low ethics of students in speaking is due to the influence of globalization of western culture, as well as the lack of attention from parents and the environment about the importance of speaking ethics, thus fading Indonesian culture. Therefore, the low ethics of speaking to students cannot be ignored, because if left unchecked, our good cultural ethics as Indonesians will fade away, due to the influence of globalization and the environment and parents who are less supportive of speaking. good. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model type Student Facilitator And Explaining can improve students' speaking ethics in Christian Religious Education learning in class IX-2 SMP Negeri 1 Sibolangit. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator and Explaining dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen untuk meningkatkan etika berbicara siswa kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 1 Sibolangit tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Classroom Research Action. Rendahnya etika siswa dalam berbicara dikarenakan pengaruh globalisasi budaya barat, serta kurangnya perhatian orang tua dan lingkungan tentang pentingnya etika berbicara, sehingga melunturkan budaya Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu, rendahnya etika berbicara pada siswa tidak dapat dibiarkan begitu saja, karena jika dibiarkan begitu saja maka etika budaya yang baik kita anut sebagai orang Indonesia akan luntur begitu saja, karena adanya pengaruh globalisasi dan lingkungan serta orang tua yang kurang mendukung untuk berbicara yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator And Explaining dapat meningkatkan etika berbicara siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 1 Sibolangit.
