Abstract

The practice of policy transfer has been known since 315 BC, but conceptually it has been increasingly discussed by policy experts in the world in the last 30 years. In the Indonesian context, the application of policy transfers has been increasingly adopted by policymakers in the last ten years or so. In practice, policy transfer is an alternative that makes it easier for policymakers to make new policies. Policy transfer facilitates learning of good policy practices from various initiating countries so as to minimize failure. The transfer process is easier to build when a network or relationship is established between the actors acting as the source of the transfer, the recipient of the transfer, or other related parties. This study analyzes the implementation of policy transfers that have occurred in Indonesia in the last ten years (2012-2022) through 4 stages of Systematic Literature Review, namely 1) Pre-SLR; 2) Identification, 3) Screening, and 4) Eligibility. There were 31 selected publications which were further analyzed based on three criteria: 1) Fields/areas where policy transfer was applied, 2) Research methods conducted, and 3) Policy transfer analysis. Topics related to the analysis of policy transfers produce 5 sub-topics that can be studied further, namely: Transfer products, Transfer Loci, Policy Actors, Forms of Transfers, and Transfer Processes

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of leadership style, financial rewards, and work environment on turnover intention, with job satisfaction as a mediating factor among employees of private Bank/Bank BDI Jakarta. The research adopted a quantitative approach with hypothesis testing, collecting primary data through valid questionnaires filled out by 330 respondents, specifically employees of Bank BDI, using Stratified Sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Smart PLS software version 3.0. The findings indicate a positive and significant influence of leadership style, financial rewards, and work environment on turnover intention, mediated by job satisfaction among Bank BDI Jakarta employees. However, the direct testing of leadership style, financial rewards, and work environment did not demonstrate a significant impact on turnover intention, suggesting the presence of other significant factors influencing turnover intention beyond the three independent variables examined. In conclusion, job satisfaction plays a pivotal role in determining turnover intention, and enhancing job satisfaction can effectively reduce turnover rates among Bank BDI Jakarta employees. However, it's worth noting that this study's limitation lies in its sample being limited to Jakarta, making it difficult to generalize the findings to all branch offices due to potential variations in characteristics and cultures across different regions.

Abstract

This research aims to delve into criminal liability in the context of environmental pollution offenses within the criminal law domain in Indonesia. Through a normative legal research approach with an analysis of legislation regulating environmental pollution, this study identifies and specifically examines the juridical regulations related to environmental pollution offenses. The research findings affirm that the legal foundation for environmental pollution offenses in Indonesia is governed by Law No. 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management. Additionally, this study highlights criminal liability that can be imposed on various parties, including individuals, businesses, and officials with relevant authority. Furthermore, the research suggests that the application of law regarding environmental pollution offenses is generally found in various legal regulations governing aspects of environmental protection and management. In addition to individuals, businesses, or corporations can also be held accountable for environmental pollution offenses, as stipulated in Articles 116-118 of Law No. 32 of 2009. Taking these aspects into consideration, this research makes a significant contribution to understanding and solidifying the legal framework governing criminal liability related to environmental pollution offenses in Indonesia. This provides a strong foundation to promote awareness and compliance with environmental laws, as well as to protect the sustainability of the environment for the well-being of society and future generations

Abstract

Indonesia's population is still growing, and the demand for energy for transport to sustain community mobility grows yearly. On the other hand, environmental challenges and green energy policies have become critical issues in today's countries, including Indonesia, and are the key subjects in sustainable development. So far, Indonesian transportation has relied on fossil-fuel vehicles. Fossil fuel vehicles negatively influence the environment due to exhaust gas emission pollution and an economic burden on the State Budget due to the substantial energy subsidies that the government must pay each year. Electric vehicles can suit people's mobility demands while remaining environmentally beneficial due to their lack of pollutants and exhaust emissions. The Indonesian government has devised different regulations to stimulate the usage of electric vehicles to support the three key programs in the National Medium-Term Development Plan For 2020-2024. This study will go through electric car policy issues, including the consequences of the policy's implementation in Indonesia. The literature review strategy is used in this study. The author thoroughly evaluated prior studies on electric vehicles in the literature. The research findings reveal that the electric car policy impacts direct and indirect expenses, but the government will have difficulty assessing the program's indirect advantages. As a result, the author suggests that the government take immediate steps to anticipate various negative impacts that may arise so that they do not become problems in the future and do not become barriers to achieving the goals of Indonesia's battery-based electric vehicle program

Abstract

The division of inheritance is an important process that has significant social, economic and cultural impacts. This research aims to conduct a comparative study between the division of inheritance in civil law and Javanese customary law. The focus of this research is to analyze the similarities, differences, and implications of the two legal systems in the context of inheritance division. This research uses a normative juridical research method. In this research, the author refers to the applicable legal aspects to analyze the division of inheritance in civil law and Javanese customary law. The results of this study reveal fundamental differences in the views and practices of inheritance distribution between formal civil law and Javanese customary law which tends to be more traditional and local. Differences include the administrative process, the types of assets that can be inherited, and the role of the family in the division process. This study has the potential to provide a deeper understanding of the interaction between civil law and customary law in the context of inheritance distribution in Java, and identify ways in which these two legal systems can co-exist or integrate more effectively
