Abstract

One of the critical factors in increasing agricultural productivity is efficient and environmentally friendly nutrient management. This study aims to determine the effect of the combined dose of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of cherry tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiform). The research was conducted in the Mekarjaya Village research field, Gantang District, Indramayu Regency, West Java, at an altitude of ±36 m above sea level, from June to September 2025. The experiment used a Group Randomized Complete Block (RAK) factorial design with two factors: POC concentration (10, 20, and 30 ml/L) and NPK fertilizer dose (100, 200, and 300 kg/ha), yielding nine treatment combinations, each repeated three times. The observed variables included plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, root components, number of fruits, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per plot, and fresh weight of leaves and stems. The data were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by the Scott-Knott test at the 5% level, and Pearson's correlation analysis. The results showed that the combination of POC and NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on most growth parameters and the yield of cherry tomatoes, especially during the medium to late vegetative phase. The best combination was obtained from the treatment of POC 20 ml/L and NPK 200 kg/ha, which produced the highest fruit weight—1.78 kg per plant and 14.27 kg per plot, equivalent to 35.7 tons ha?¹. In addition, plant height and number of leaves at 28–35 HST showed a clear to very strong correlation with fruit weight per plot. Thus, the combination of POC 20 ml/L and NPK 200 kg/ha is recommended to optimally and sustainably increase the growth and yield of cherry tomatoes.

Abstract

Research on policy agendas and legislative processes plays a strategic role in understanding the dynamics of political representation within democratic systems. The development of literature in this field still shows limitations in thematic, institutional, and geographical scope. This research aims to systematically map the development of studies on policy agendas and legislative processes, with a particular focus on the institutional dynamics of legislative bodies within the context of representative democracy. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review combined with bibliometric analysis using the R-based Biblioshiny tool, with data sourced from the Scopus database for the period 2014–2025. The findings indicate that the study of policy agendas and legislative processes has experienced relatively stagnant growth, with dominant themes including agenda setting, legislative politics, and policy processes. The intellectual structure of the literature identifies political parties as central actors in the formation of policy agendas within legislative institutions. In terms of geographical distribution, research remains concentrated in liberal democracies in Western regions, while studies in developing country contexts such as Indonesia are still very limited. The lack of studies emphasizing the institutional role of the Legislative Body of the House of Representatives reveals a significant research gap. The results of this study are expected to enrich the literature on policy agendas by incorporating an institutional perspective from the context of developing democracies and reaffirming the importance of legislative bodies in realizing democratic political representation.

Abstract

The technology sector in Indonesia experienced significant dynamics during the 2020–2024 period, beginning with a surge in stock prices during the COVID-19 pandemic due to accelerated digitalization, followed by a “tech winter” phase in 2022–2023 characterized by declining stock values amid rising interest rates and post-pandemic normalization. This volatility raises questions about the financial factors that influence technology stock prices, particularly given the sector’s unique characteristics of prioritizing growth over immediate profitability. This study aims to determine the effect of dividend payout ratio, debt to equity ratio, and net profit margin on stock prices. The method used in this research is panel data regression. The research data used are financial statement ratios for 2020–2024. The population in this research was 19 technology companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with 7 companies sampled and selected by purposive sampling. The analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression, which is processed using the EViews 13 program. The research results using the common effect model indicate that the dividend payout ratio, debt to equity ratio, and net profit margin have no simultaneous effect on stock prices. However, when tested individually, the net profit margin has a significantly positive influence on stock prices, whereas the dividend payout ratio and debt to equity ratio do not have any significant effect.

Abstract

This research explores the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in newsroom environments and its impact on the behavioral changes of journalists, particularly at the news editor level. The adoption of generative AI in mass media continues to grow in line with the rapid advancement of digital technology globally. The application of AI in journalistic work—such as news gathering, writing, editing, and distribution—has had significant effects on media professionals. This research aims to examine in depth news editors' perspectives on the use of AI in the newsroom and the behavioral transformations that result from it. The study adopts an interpretive paradigm, with a qualitative approach and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) as its research strategy. It uses concepts from technological determinism, diffusion of innovations theory, and journalistic ethics as analytical tools to better understand the phenomena experienced by the research participants. The findings reveal three key aspects of transformation among news editors following the integration of AI in newsroom practices: changes in work routines, the meaning attributed to AI in journalism, and the evolving competencies of news editors. AI technology is viewed as a supporting tool rather than a replacement for news editors. While technical functions such as writing SEO-based articles, checking language structure, and conducting issue research can be performed by AI, editorial decisions and final editing remain the responsibility of human editors. In conclusion, the study highlights news editors' responses and interpretations of AI use, with their transformation marked by increased work efficiency.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the Umrah and Hajj industry in Indonesia and globally presents both significant opportunities and competitive challenges for specialized travel organizers. This study examines the business strategy architecture at ESQ Tours (PT Fajrul Ikhsan Wisata), one of Indonesia's leading dedicated Umrah and Hajj travel agencies, established since 2005. The research aims to develop a comprehensive business strategy architecture aligned with the company's vision as a preferred and trusted halal tour operator in Southeast Asia. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using a case study model, with data collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, company annual reports, and literature reviews. Data analysis incorporated a multi-layered strategic framework, including foresight analysis, PESTLE, Porter's Five Forces, VRIO, Activity-Based Management (ABM), SWOT, TOWS Matrix, and the A'WOT (AHP-SWOT) method to prioritize strategic choices. The External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrix yielded a score of 2.860 and the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) matrix scored 2.790, placing ESQ Tours in Quadrant V of the IE Matrix, recommending a "Hold and Maintain" strategy through market penetration and product development. Key findings reveal that ESQ Tours' primary competitive advantages lie in its unique ESQ 165-based meaning methodology and strong brand reputation, while its most critical weakness is the underutilization of the pilgrim waiting-period ecosystem. Three priority strategies were formulated: spiritual experience-based differentiation, strengthening unique value propositions, and service quality standardization. The resulting business strategy architecture for 2026–2030 is built upon two pillars—offensive differentiation and internal modernization—with a transformative shift from a transactional to a relational and sustainable business model through activation of the Hajj waiting congregation ecosystem.

Abstract

Traffic accidents due to brake failures in freight vehicles in Indonesia account for around 90 percent of the total traffic accidents. This condition prompted researchers to create APPIRO (Brake Blong Detection and Early Warning Tool) based on IoT and GPS, which functions to provide early warning of potential braking system failures in real-time to reduce the number of accidents caused by freight transportation that experiences brake failure. This study aims to design, calibrate, and evaluate APPIRO tools in detecting over-temperature in brake systems and loads in freight transport vehicles. R&D (Research and Development) research methods include hardware design, application manufacturing, calibration of Thermocouple Type K, Loadcell Type S sensors, and limited scale trials. APPIRO's main components consist of thermocouple type K temperature sensor, S type loadcell, ESP32 microcontroller, GPS Tracker NEO6MV2 module, HX711 module, MAX6675 module, dual channel relay, 16x2 LCD, IoT-based Kodular application that displays real-time temperature, load, vehicle location data and early warning notifications. The calibration results at the Center for Standardization and Industrial Services showed a relative error of the thermocouple sensor of –1.11% and the loadcell of 1.48%, which is still within acceptable accuracy limits. Limited trials showed that in pick-up vehicles with a load of 2476.9 kgf, the brake oil temperature increased to 212.4°C so that the system gave a "Danger" warning, while in engkel trucks the maximum temperature was only 95.7°C with the status of "Safe".

Abstract

Generation Z is the first generation to use digital technology and exhibits distinct media consumption characteristics, yet television remains relevant when it presents content, such as soap operas, that resonates with their experiences. This study aims to analyze the representation of conflict in the soap opera “Asmara Gen Z” episode 322 through Robert Entman’s four dimensions of framing to uncover the ideological values and social responsibilities conveyed to Gen Z audiences. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing Entman’s framing model analysis and in-depth interviews with six Gen Z informants. The results indicate that the conflict is framed as a personal character conflict reinforced by an inconsistent school policy system. The “9 Ilmu” group is represented as a highly solidary group expected to yield, whereas “Tirta Persada” is depicted as a privileged group making excessive demands. This study concludes that soap operas transmit four paradoxical values: passive adaptive solidarity, empathy, ambiguous distributive justice, and maturity as passivity, collectively reinforcing the ideology of “Privileged Compassion.” Recommendations are directed at soap opera creators to develop narratives that are more attuned to issues of distributive justice, emphasizing solutions centered on personal attitude change rather than systemic reform.

Abstract

This study integrates the Information Adoption Model (IAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to predict the intention to register for  BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in the Non-Wage Earner (BPU) segment. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire survey of 250 respondents working in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors who were not yet registered with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Sampit Branch but followed  BPJS Ketenagakerjaan social media. Data analysis employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3 software. The analysis results indicate that information quantity and information credibility significantly influence information usefulness, while information quality does not have a significant effect. Information usefulness significantly influences information adoption, which in turn affects purchase intention. The TPB variables—attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control—all significantly influence purchase intention. Furthermore, information adoption mediates the relationship between information usefulness and purchase intention. These findings suggest that improving the quantity and credibility of information, along with strengthening positive attitudes, social support, and perceived ease of registration, can enhance information adoption and registration intention for  BPJS Ketenagakerjaan among the BPU segment. The study contributes to the theoretical integration of IAM and TPB in the context of social security services for informal workers.

Abstract

The One-Stop Administration System (SAMSAT) is a public service institution that plays an important and strategic role in managing motor vehicle administration and interacts directly with the community. In carrying out its duties, this institution faces various operational challenges, including queue congestion at certain hours, disruptions in the application system, and a lack of behavioral consistency among officers. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of SAMSAT Kuningan services based on the three dimensions of Richard M. Steers’ theory, namely productivity, community satisfaction, and adaptability, as well as to identify inhibiting factors and efforts to improve them. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques consisting of in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The results show that service productivity is relatively high because revenue realization almost entirely meets the target, with a large volume of vehicles served every day. Most people expressed satisfaction with the services received, which were generally categorized as good, although variations in user experience were still found. The adaptability aspect shows the progressive implementation of digital innovation; however, its utilization is not evenly distributed among the community. This study concludes that SAMSAT Kuningan services are generally effective but still require improvements in service consistency, the reliability of technological systems, and strengthened adaptation efforts to achieve full optimization.

Abstract

The government launched the Family Hope Program as an effort to alleviate poverty among the poor. However, there are still several problems in its implementation, such as inaccurate and untargeted recipient data, as well as the large number of PKH recipients who are dependent on assistance. This study was conducted to examine the impact of the PKH policy implementation on the welfare of the Cangkoak Village community. The method used was a quantitative method through a causal association design. By distributing questionnaires to gather data, the study found a clear link between the PKH policy and increased community welfare. The statistical significance of this relationship is backed by a partial T-test; the calculated t-value (5.779) proved to be higher than the t-table value (1.99394) at the 5% alpha level. The conclusion of this study proves that PKH has an impact on community welfare in alleviating poverty by 32%. Therefore, this program must be improved by refining the data collection system for recipients to ensure it is on target, as well as the role of PKH assistants in encouraging the community not to become dependent on assistance.
